Still think Donovan Smith will play 🤷🏻‍♂️…
    Dude is a warrior!

  2. BucsFan81 Says:

Looks like Cameron Jordan is out for the saints.

  3. Anonymous Says:

Need to bring Cyril Grayson back. Almost whole receiving corps down. Need more depth at O Line, Josh Wells looked like he was on skates ⛸️.

  4. GABucsBall Says:

If Wirfs and Smith end up not playing just sit Tom….it’s not worth it against the bounty brigade.

  5. Anon Says:

Doubtful means no. Questionable means yes.

  6. Rod Munch Says:

If Smith and our WRs can’t go – literally just bench Brady for the week instead of letting him get beat up with Scotty Miller as our #1 WR and Darden as our #2 WR.

  7. Rod Munch Says:

Wirfs and Evans almost certainly plays. Julio might play, but he’s also made of glass, so if he does play he probably gets hurt on the 2nd play of the game. As for Gage, we don’t know much about him, but the fact he never used to get hurt was part of signing him, and yet he’s been hurt the entire time.

I’ll guess we’ll just see who actually plays and if they’re at full speed, but if I’m Bowles, I have a very short leash on Brady – not so much that I’m worried about Brady’s play, but that I don’t want him getting killed. We’re trying to win a SB, and getting swept by the Saints in the regular season has traditionally always been part of that.

  8. Mike Says:

I can tell you this, the Saints are going to get a heavy dose of Ko Kieft!

  9. MonkeyMan Says:

    Agree with Rod M.

Very short leash on Brady. Throw Trask in there and let him get a taste of the Saints. Save Brady for next week at home. Same with Julio and Mike

  10. Tampabaybucfan Says:

If Cam Jordan doesn’t play…..I’ll take that trade for D Smith……

Of all the WRs…..at least 2 will be good to go.

  11. Defense Rules Says:

Rod … Do you really think that Tom Brady would let them bench him for a week? Nah, what kind of a message does that send to the rest of the team? (Yup … ‘You guys suck & can’t protect me, so I’m not gonna play. Wah wah wah’).

Warriors don’t make excuses. Warriors fight no matter what. And The GOAT has shown that he’s a warrior.

That having been said however, if the score gets out of hand early-on, I wouldn’t hesitate as the HC to pull him & use the opportunity to see what Trask or Gabbert could do in a real game, but with the offensive backups in there (no sense in risking any further injury to some of our hurting starters).

In any event, Saints’ game will probably be a good opportunity to see if our defense can actually control (and win) the game.

  12. Bucsfan13 Says:

@Rod. Brady loathes coming out of any games. Remember when he shook BA off when he tried to take him out against the Panthers last year. And when we got blown out by the Saints 38-3 he refused to leave the field. The man is the ultimate competitor. Plus, Gisele isn’t around so he doesn’t have to worry about her seeing his bruises after the game. I kid lol

  13. Bucsfan13 Says:

Cam Jordan isn’t out. I wish lol

  14. Brian Says:

This hamstring thing is crazy! I’ve played a lot of sports over the years in school, never saw a hami! We all stretched together as a squad. I see all these pros prancing around doing thier own thing! These pros have personal trainer’s, that need to be fired!

  15. Daryl Green Says:

Jesus, Cam Jordan out, sit Tommy.
Ok so some Frontal lobes are not working🤫

  16. Coran Says:

    Cam isn’t out

  17. captivajim Says:

With Smith out at LT & if Wirfs can’t go ; Brady will have a VERY tough day passing .
especially if Darden has to be a starter !!!!!
IF Lenny can’t go ;the run game will be Vaughn & White …

Could be a sad trip back to Tampa ..

  18. Marine Buc Says:

I hope Miller can step up and have a positive impact… This is what you get with Perriman, Jones, Evans and Gage as your primary WRs…

Evans is always fighting an injury.
Gage has been hurt since he stepped out of the limo at One Buc.
    Perriman is ALWAYS HURT. ALWAYS!!!!!
Jones was injured all last season and is soold he farts dust.
Godwin hasn’t fully recovered from his surgery – he didn’t play and hardly practiced this preseason…

This whole unit looked good on paper. But it’s only game two – GAME FREAKING 2!!!!!!!!!!!

    And here we are.

I knew this would happen but I was hopeful it would take longer than one game!!!!!!!!!

  19. Marine Buc Says:

    WHAT THE F!!!!!!???????!!!!!!!!???????

  20. David Says:

Usually everyone questionable plays So the big issue is Donovan Smith not playing. They’re going to have to have a tight end next to Wells or Lenny or a fullback

  21. JimmyJack Says:

Marine Gage Julio and Mike will play sunday I bet. Perriman too. Spare us your meltdown til they actually miss a game hahaha

  22. Kentucky Buc Says:

Everyone’s playing except Godwin. Donnie is a game time decision but I’d be surprised if he didn’t give it a go. Brady is not sitting or getting pulled unless it’s a blowout one way or the other.

  23. Kentucky Buc Says:

This board needs to go burn one. Puff puff pass

  24. Gofortheface30 Says:

Jimmy Jack- I agree but I also agree with marine buc. He has a right to be annoyed. You know why? Because it’s god dam f’ing annoying that it’s week two and we have to think about this already. It doesn’t take sage wisdom to understand what questionable means and what doubtful means, I get it. Been watching the nfl for almost 35yrs now. Doesn’t make it any less annoying, and I’m with marine in that I’m sick and tired of our guys getting hurt. Idc if it’s selfish, they get paid a ton of money so my empathy is next to none. What I care about – is for guys to be available. And people don’t wanna say it because he seems like an all around great guy – but can Chris Godwin ever play a full season? Ever? Is that too much to ask

  25. BucU Says:

This team just can not stay healthy and the season has just begun. It’s a shame.

  26. CrackWise Says:

Everyone is gonna come out of this game saying the same thing they said about Dallas.

Oh the Saints arent as good as we expected and the QB has a hurt back and the back up QB is not that good. And the Saint D is old and thin at depth and other than one WR and RB the Saint just are trying to figure out how to move forward with a new coach and BLAH BLAH BLAH…

Cam Jorden will most likely talk about how #41 hurt his feelings and rules need to be changed.

This game is going to be such a cake walk that everyone will think the Bucs got lucky catching two contenders early in the season and the REAL TEST will be Green Bay.

    YAWN

Rod … Do you really think that Tom Brady would let them bench him

    ——-

Oh I understand how much that would p/o Brady, but I think in this case, once he calmed down he’d understand it and be happy he didn’t take a beating. But yeah, I don’t actually think they’d do it, but I personally would, IF all those guys were actually out. Every SB winning team for Tampa started 1-1 with one of those loses to the Saints, so it’s not a big deal to drop this game.

  28. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Gofortheface.

You are 100% over the target bud…

    Wake up goobers!!!

    It’s week #2!!!!

If this was week 8-10 or whatever I would be like – hey it is what it is… But not after just one week of real NFL football…

  29. Marine Buc Says:

    This whole unit is soft…

  30. Marine Buc Says:

****Except for Godwin… Not his fault he was forced back too early.

  31. Rod Munch Says:

Marine Buc – being soft isn’t how hamstrings hurt.

  32. Bojim Says:

Let’s wait to see how it plays out. I feel good. But I’m not playing either.

  33. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Rod

    That’s what she said…

  34. CrackWise Says:

    @Marine Buc and @Rod Munch

Hate to get between yalls (Bucs) suck fest. But both of you are on some seriously good Crack. MIND SHARING???

Oh never mind, I am too Wise to go down that path in life, AGAIN. LMAO

Anyways, you two are so cute together.

Let’s be real, BOTH of you are Bucs fans that lean towards expecting the worst and hoping for the best. I can appreciate that for sure. But neither one of you are the kind of fan that makes game days fun. Your more like those guys that get ignored during High Fives and start fights with the other teams fans expecting others to get your back because you have on the home teams jersey.

While its fun talking to ya and arguing different aspects of the game. Yall will never get invited to the after party.

I KID I KID, its just so fun to make fun of people who smoke Crack, wait…. DOPE!!!

  35. D-Rok Says:

I still say this is a 50/50 game, and the team with the least amount of turnovers prolly wins.

Even as beat-up as the Bucs are, I still think we have a shot and the sky isn’t falling just yet.

I was pretty sure we’d beat the Boys. Not sure who will win this game, to be completely honest.

Just play well, whomever the Bucs trot out onto the field. GO BUCS!!!

  36. Marine Buc Says:

A bunch of video game playing millionaire pansies…

Go out and train – it’s not like your making $20M to $10M per year.

    BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

  37. stpetebucsfan Says:

Man! Man! Man! Did you guys grow up hearing that famous child’s story about the “Little Train that Could” as the little Locomotive chugging up the hill saying, “I think I can’t I think I can’t.

And now we have several Nostrodamus who are capable of foreseeing injuries.

Mike Evans? Really? He’s been on the roster for 128 possible games. He not only played but STARTED 122 over 95%. He’s closing in on 10,000 yards. He has 76 TD’s 27 of them in the past two years with Brady. Gage has played in 61 of his 64 opportunities also 95%

How does ME’s “durability” compare with the all time greats?

Well it’s perhaps a bit unfair because some of these guys numbers were perhaps weakened by the end of their careers BUT

Jerry Rice played in 93% of his possible games…he was much more finesse than power so let’s compare ME to a guy with a similar game. Terrell Owens played in only 91% of his opportunities.

Man are some of you guys Russian? The “semi-joking” saying there goes..”Don’t worry…it’ll be worse tomorrow.

The season has started and I realize I must steel myself for the onslaught of the nattering nabobs of negativity.

  38. Jerry Says:

Practically the entire starting offense is on the injury report. Christ. It’s only week 2!

Do these guys do anything in the offseason? Our strength and conditioning coaches need to be fired.

  39. JimmyJack Says:

Goforthe30. Just like you said. Alls you care about is if guys are avialable on Sunday. Thats all i care about too.

But Im not gonna freak out about this list only to see everybody playing and effective. Mike Evans and Tristian Wirfs were on the report last week, it wound up meaning next to nothing when it was Gametime. Heck, I was listening to Joes podcast and he was almost laughing at some of the names on the report.

  40. IrishTony Says:

@ Rod Munch I believe you’ve been following this team/sport long enough to know that everyone but Godwin is going to play.

  41. Goatfarmer Says:

Anyone check the Cowboys injury report to see if Micah’s oblique vulva strain has subsided?i

  42. IrishTony Says:

@crackwise totally with you. So sick of these naysaying fans that still think we’re loving the Schiano, Lovie , Koetter years. The other thing that pisses me off is that everyone’s talking about the Aints D. Hell our D was better last year and certainly better this year! F**K!

  43. D-Rok Says:

No, Goat, no reports on all that. However, the NFL did release test results indicating he had a negative vas deferens test. The NFL didn’t specify the amount of quarantine time.

  44. CrackWise Says:

    @Goatfarmer

Bro you just made me both, spit out my drink laughing AND got check the Cowgirls injury report!!!

Not to anyone’s surprise, Micah is still on the injury report. BUT what is surprising is what for. I have no idea what they meant, just had something to do with “that time of month?”

Im so confused, thought that guy was a “bad arse”??? OHHHHH, I get it now. My bad. Carry on

  45. CrackWise Says:

    @IrishTony

    DING DING DING…. My man!!!

  46. Bucsfan13 Says:

Are we just gonna keep ignoring that Tom has lost a lot of weigh? He looks almost sickly. His legs are twigs. I saw him a season ticket holder event earlier this month. He looked gaunt in person. His arms were nonexistent. My wife commented that she hoped Tommy would hold up this season.

  47. steele Says:

Staying healthy for a full season, being healthy at the end, is the number one factor. So many guys out after one game? Not a good sign.

  48. unbelievable Says:

    @KentuckyBuc

1 step ahead of ya brotha…

But dang some y’all got me all excited thinking Jordan was out. He’s not. WTF

  49. CrackWise Says:

    @Bucsfan13

I would love to comment on that, but it will get me censored. Let’s also just say, he and the MRS. are on record talking about “witch spells” keep him going.

Yeah, he will end up getting the same treatment that start LA Lakers player got if and when he calls it quits.

  50. Goatfarmer Says:

Tommy needs to dump the dud.

  51. ThatAintRight! Says:

If Donovan Smith was healthy I’d say Tampa has this one on the bag , but with Josh Wells as his replacement. This line needs to be brought up to speed. We may be able to hang on though if Cameron jordan isn’t playing. Ko kieft and Josh wells together would definitely be enough I think to keep the left side defense upright. Still Brady needs more help from his WR corps. We can’t just pass it to Mike Evans on every play.

  52. garro Says:

Hmm legit queston that I never thought of before.
Whats the difference between questionable and doubtful?
I am serious not trying to be funny.

  53. garro Says:

Cam Jorden will most likely talk about how #41 hurt his feelings and rules need to be changed.
Thanks for the laugh…part of me hopes it happens LOL

  54. orlbucfan Says:

If Bucs break the losing streak, it will be the Defense who wins it. And the Aints know it.

  55. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

They need to sign Cole Beasley and a old pro online man that can play pretty much anywhere on the line to shore up these positions!!

  56. Mark A Swygert Says:

The questionable designation is usually code for this guy is definitely going to play, and the doubtful designation usually means that there is a small but very real chance the player gives it a go. The only player who is “out” for certain is Godwin. Before adopting the new CBA in 2020 it used to be probable and questionable, but the result is still pretty much the same. The biggest difference is that they now give out a players day-by-day practice status during the week. This change is most likely due to fantasy football players and gamblers clamoring for info. The NFL has fans to please., and not just homers worried about their favorite team.

  57. Crickett Baker Says:

I just looked at 76 pictures of our team getting on the plane. ALL of our people were there including Chris Godwin. I did not see Scotty in any picture, but even Julio was there.
