We were great at that the past 2 years. Clearly have taken a step backwards. We were bad ahainst Dallas on 3rd&1 as well. This is the 1st thing this offense must fix in mine opinion.
Wells has been getting pushed by Davenport but he has held his own. Glad to see that. And Carlton Davis belongs in the convo with White and Winfield as our best defensive player.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times: Byron Leftwich is a terrible play caller. Way too many first down runs for no yards. Barely any quick passes or play action. WAY TOO PREDICTABLE. It is now that it’s been leveled out but the refs can certainly have too much of an impact on games. These are all bad calls. Good or bad for us. Instead of being one-sided, it’s just been poorly officiated.

That wasn’t the case before Evans knocked Lattimore’s teeth out, before that it was one sided. The refs lost control of the game, know THEY are the ones that blew the call that caused the entire thing, probably get chewed out by NY, and now, suddenly, you get the makeup calls.
But they are makeup calls since the refs weren’t calling anything for the Bucs prior to that.
