NFL Network resumed its Top-100 list highlighting the best players in the NFL chosen by its players. And Tristan Wirfs makes the list. Again.
After each season Wirfs of his two seasons, the Bucs’ right tackle has made the list. For 2022, he ranks No. 41; last year Wirfs was No. 89.
Joe is confident that Wirfs was stoked to be named an All-Pro right tackle last year. But twice in the Top-100 voted by your peers? That has to be a good feeling for the former Iowa Hawkeye, too.
Wirfs had a scare last week in Tennessee but it seems he’s will be fine and ready for Week 1 at Dallas. Let’s cross our fingers that is the last time Wirfs gets nicked up. If the Bucs lose him, it might be time to start brushing up on the draft.
Yeah, Wirfs is that important.

Easily the best RT in the game. I hope the Bucs don’t get cute once Snith is done and move him left. Leave him be. He could go down as the greatest RT ever!!!

Maniac – 100% in agreement. Sheer stupidity to mess with near perfection. And who knows, some left handed QB may come out of the blue and be the Bucs QB in two or three years, giving our beast the blind side anyway. I can’t think of any, though.

41?! That’s ridiculous. This guy is a top 20 player in the league. He’s better at his job than almost everyone else in the league is at theirs. Ridiculous.
