“Everyone That’s Healthy Will Play”

August 25th, 2022

Tom Brady will play on Saturday.

No surprise today from Todd Bowles regarding his announcement that he won’t sit players Saturday night in Indianapolis.

“Everyone that’s healthy will play,” Bowles said, before reinforcing that statement a second time.

Yes, Tom Brady is healthy and he has always played in preseason when that is the case through his career.

Bowles added there are things the coaching staff wants to see from the team, so they’ll all be on the field.

So who is truly “healthy?” That won’t be clear until gameday.

    TB will play, but you can bet it will be 75% running plays while he is in. Probably a good thing though, so not complaining.

  2. Casual Observer Says:

    The first teamers need to handle a series or two just to smooth out the chemistry – on both the O and the D. Special teams are a mostly a mystery so far. They need to get better this year.

    Thunderdome started out with such promise…but man did it take a turn for the worse in the 2nd half.

  10. MadMax Says:

    ^ thanks, im on it

  11. MadMax Says:

    He’s a Guard….F, we’re f’d!

  12. Dooley Says:

    @MadMax

    Molchon is listed at G, but he came into the league having played tackle and gaurd at Boise State for his last two years. Plus he’s been getting work at C since 2020. No calling him a savior, but just because we haven’t seen it doesn’t mean he can’t do the job.

  13. #8 Says:

    hahaha! Such a good franchise, but man second half of III…yikes.

  14. firethecannons Says:

But thats when the ideas flow….heres a thought, maybe i need to STFU and allow things to flow as they will flow…but I still want Tretter and Im pissed we or him cant work it out yet…. ok i need a nap.

  16. Canabuc Says:

    What about Zadarius Hutchinson. He was trending high last year to a pre season before injury derailed him. He is a monster of a man. Guard maybe?

  17. PassingThru Says:

    @firethecannons

    The obverse is true: JC Tretter retired because the Bucs and other potential suitors did not call him.

    The owners put the union in its place, and in particular the outspoken union President, JC Tretter. To us football is a game, to them it’s a business, and Tretter threatens both revenue (player safety issues) and expenses (player salary expense is by far the most material expense).

    How many healthy players will El Blundo lose? How bout Evans and Smith?

  19. David Says:

    Nothing unusual there. We used to watch the starters go for the first half of preseason game 3. This year expect maybe a quarter

  20. Listnfrmafar Says:

    Fing WHY????? Arsewipe coaching staff.

  21. PSL Bob Says:

    You got to assume that the 1st stringers need a little dress rehearsal for the big show. I understand you don’t want more injuries, but that’s part of the game. Just because a player doesn’t get injured in preseason does not mean that he will remain injury free for the entire regular season. Hell, how many times have we had starters hurt in the first game of the year? It is part of the game. You hope you have good depth at all positions, because this league is all about next man up.

  22. Dooley Says:

    @CanaBuc

    I think Hutch was on the PUP list, which would explain why we haven’t heard much of him in the shuffling of the interior OL, but I think he’s been at practice not too sure how much he’s participated or if he still may be rehabbing. I think it was this time last preseason he got nicked up and put on IR.

    It’ll be good to get a little bit of real football!!
