Chris Godwin Is Back On The Field

August 5th, 2022

Practicing.

Hey Bucs fans, here is something to get your weekend started on the right foot!

Chris Godwin is out here at One Buc Palace and he’s suited up for practice. Padded practice.

So it seems if Godwin is good enough to participate in a padded practice, that signals he may just be ready for Week 1 at Dallas.

Of course, Bucs fans know Godwin blew out a knee against the slimy Saints in December and was lost for the season.

So Joe will guess  the prediction on BSPN that Godwin wouldn’t be ready until after Thanksgiving was… just a bit outside.

    Welcome back CG!

Boogers prediction for Godwin’s return was as accurate as using a sundial to time guys in the 40. Though I do admit that strategy might work well for some of the slower linemen.

ESPN is nearly a worthless organization for actual news.

“MadMax Says: Trask is not the answer.”

Max, what facts do you base that on? Trask having one up-and-down-day in Wednesday’s practice with camp meat dropping his passes?

Max, what were your comments after Trask’s Tuesday practice when Joe’s notes showed Trask was 4-for-6 with 2 TD passes?

Max, what did you say when Matthew Stafford had an abysmal TD:INT ratio of 13:20 his first year playing?

Max, did you think Atlanta was smart in trading Brett Favre after playing in only one game his rookie season and throwing 2 picks?

Max, have you ever wondered why no NFL team ever calls you for advice on draft day?

    LOL.

    Hell yes!

By the looks of some of the vids other Bucs media has put out of Godwin, he looks good, but a still a ways off to looking like himself again. Also looks like CG has gained some weight, but that won’t be nearly as meme-worthy as Langoustine Lenny’s weight gain.

Great news! Let’s get some, CG!!

ME13 and CG14 = best WR tandem in NFL. Hope Ungodly Godwin has learned how to protect himself against cheap shots like the one against his knee. He has the slight build of a fast WR, but he plays like a TE. That doesn’t always work.
