Please Do Not Compare Aaron Rodgers To Tom Brady

July 25th, 2022

“Sorry Aaron, no discounts on TB12 products.”

Every once in a while, Joe hears chatter that Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFC.

Or even some knotheads suggest Rodgers is the MVP of the league. Yeah, Rodgers won this award the past two years and it was such a friggin’ joke both times.

This talk makes Joe chortle out loud. It is so laughable.

Rodgers, as good as he is, is a choke artist, plain and simple. He may win a big game in the regular season but if you put him in a warm weather site or a playoff game, Rodgers struggles worse than Joe trying to stay away from Publix when chicken tender subs are on sale.

Brady is as money in the playoffs as any quarterback who ever lived. Rodgers? Pppffftt!

Brady has played in the NFC for only two years, both with the Bucs. And already Brady has as many postseason wins over NFC teams as Rodgers has his entire 17-year career. That just blows Joe away.

So next time someone tries to convince you that Rodgers is an MVP over Brady, or even better than Brady, just holler “T.O., bay-BEE!” and speak the truth to the fool.

Brady > Rodgers. That’s all there is to it.

That’s a crazy stat, and probably one that most wouldn’t have guessed. Glad he’s our guy.

  2. Goatfarmer Says:

Karen Rodgers loves herself. She wants to be the center of attention. There was a time where I thought she was the best, then her true diva came out and the choking repeated year after year. Loser. Let’s see how she does without Adams. I hope they fail to make the playoffs and Karen goes all biblical diva in the 2022 season.

  3. Ausgust 1976 Buc Says:

LOL 7 to 1 Super Bowl Record.
6 of Bradys 10 NFC wins came in the Super Bowl, not just the Playoffs,
that makes the 10 NFC wins even more impressive.

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  4. steele Says:

Rodgers is the most technically skilled passer among QBs. That is not what makes a great QB. Rodgers could have been (past tense because he never will) the true GOAT, but lacks the long list of intangibles and above all, the attitude and leadership. One SB for him, that’s about right.

  5. Bucsfanman Says:

There’s nobody, at least there shouldn’t be, that could argue objectively that Brady is not the greatest of all time.
Oh, you don’t have to like him, I didn’t…until he became a Buc!

    Brady vs. Rodgers? Man, please!

  6. Hodad Says:

What Steele said. Big difference between most talented, and who is the best QB. Yo just check yo sheet.

  7. geno711 Says:

For this year, the Athletic just came out with a ranking this morning of QB’s.
Rated Karen Rodgers 1st, Patrick Mahomes 2nd and TB12 3rd.

  8. Razor Ramone Says:

They fail to take in his leadership skills, you can’t quantify or qualify those. That’s what puts TB12 ahead of all the rest.

  9. Bucschamp Says:

    Rodgers career is in Jeopardy

  10. mark2001 Says:

Is Rodgers better physically than Brady… yes. Can he work a defense as well as Brady? Pretty close. Does he have the work ethic, the brains and the never say die spirit Brady has? Not even in the same ballpark.

  11. 1#bucsfan Says:

JOE I get soooooo mad about this. HOW DID KAREN WIN MVP ? Brady had better stats n with a injured defense n offense. Pretty sure the MVP voting is prob as good as the pro bowl voting big fat JOKE. KAREN THE CHOKE ARTIST might have more mvps but TB12 has what’s more important n that’s 7 rings

  12. Señor Harry in Costa Rica Says:

I think ppl factor in TB’s age, or maybe its just TB hate – too much success for some ppl. I dont know any other reason for ridiculous rankings of Karen over Brady, or any other QB over TB. The argument is really simple.

If you had ONE playoff game, right now, who would you want a QB?? Personally, I do not think I would take any QB but Brady.

  13. SlyPirate Says:

TB12 will have almost every Tampa record after this season. He’ll have every (positive record) if he plays next year. He’ll be the team leader for two teams. THAT’S MADNESS.

  14. mark2001 Says:

BTW… since no one has said it… AR insists on being paid a top salary, even compared to most every other QB. Brady makes a very fine salary….but wants to win if it means taking a little less and being able to sign talent and keep the winning going on over many years. For a team’s ultimate success, that is a huge difference in Brady’s favor.

  15. G in MAxxa Says:

If you want a MVP player and have 50M a year to pay him definitely zRogers is your guy he plays to win map’s! Brady on the other hand only wants to win BS’s . He is a TEAM leader not an individual player.
    BIG DIFFERENCE

  16. Duane Says:

I can hear that mic drop. Well said. Rodgers is the ultimate front runner.

  17. UKBuccaneer Says:

The only time Rodgers won a SB was when they went on the road as a 6 seed. That ‘home field advantage’ in January at Lambeau? Doesn’t exist for AR. He freezes.

  18. BigMacAttack Says:

Tom Brady is the greatest professional athlete ever. Wayne Gretzky is right there with him. Richard Petty was also great #3 and dominated his sport. Then comes Michael Jordan, Bill Russel and the rest. Aaron Rodgers, bless his heart isn’t a pimple on Tom Brady’s A$$, not now, not next week, not ever. Bill Belichick has been given too much credit by NFL loud mouths. I think every last one of them, no matter how good they were, are jealous of TB12’s success and longevity. Someone should seriously check to see if he sold his soul to the Devil 😂😂

  19. BigMacAttack Says:

As for Rodgers’ Super Bowl win, the refs made that happen, because
.. had they not called the BS Pass interference penalty on Kellen Winslow Jr. in the end zone, Raheem’s Bucs would have won that game, Greenbay would have missed the playoffs altogether, as the Bucs would have had that spot!!!! The cheating betting zebra refs screwed us again, and ultimately cost Raheem his job.

  20. BigMacAttack Says:

    Fight me!!! 😂

  21. Listnfrmafar Says:

Brady has been in the league what 22 times and has 15 division titles, played in count the 10 SB’s and won with two different teams. How is this even a discussion? His own BFF receiver jumped ship, what’s that tell ya?

  22. Trey long Says:

People constantly talking about Rodgers talent. Isn’t making the throw under max pressure with the season in your hand a talent? Who does that like Brady?
