Tom Brady No. 6

June 20th, 2022

Tom Brady

This is about as no-brainer as they come.

In what Joe may deem slightly controversial, prickly Pete Prisco of CBS Sports in his annual top-100 players’ list ranked Tom Brady at No. 6. Prisco could have easily had Brady at No. 2.

What may have held Brady back in Prisco’s mind? Well, sooner or later Brady is going to start showing his age, no?

He is coming off one of his best seasons in terms of stats, throwing for 5,316 yards and 43 touchdown passes. When does he slow down? Does he before he retires? He is amazing. And there is no reason to think he won’t put up big numbers again.

Well, here is what Joe once mentioned once to good friend and Bill Currie Ford general manager Sean Sullivan.

So let’s say Brady, at age 45, starts to physically decline. You know, Father Time begins tapping on his shoulder. So Brady would go from the best quarterback in the league to, what, 10th best? Maybe 11th best? It’s not like Brady overnight is going to become feeble.

And you can win with a top-10 quarterback.

But another expert, aka Simm, rank Tom at the 10 among QBs only.

If you had one qb to go to the Super Bowl with, who would it be?

Disrespect is what feels this guy. BRING IT ON, MORE HE’S TOO OLD TALK!!!

  6. Casual Observer Says:

He’s still the no. 1 player. Considering all of his team contributions. No question.

  7. Cobraboy Says:

I agree with Listn: the more you dis the GOAT, the angrier he becomes.

Carry on with the insults, Brady will push back on the field.

  8. JA Says:

Prior to the inception of real games, who ranks who is the epitome of meaninglessness.
Moreover, the only important ranking in any regular season sport is wins verses losses.
And at the conclusion of the playoffs, the last person or team standing becomes the highest ranking of all.
In the meantime, why care what anybody thinks about your team or any of it’s members? It changes nothing, proves nothing and counts for nothing.

  9. SOEbuc Says:

All these media market list that have Brady at number six haunt me in my sleep while JBF throws in a little market advertising of his own with Bill Currie Ford.

  10. JAXDAD Says:

This crap truly angers me. The GOAT is called the GOAT for a reason
