“I Think He’s Going To Turn Out To Be A Dawg”

May 31st, 2022

“Hey Glazer, wait til you see this guy.”

Veteran backup left guard Aaron Stinnie had little to say today when he was asked about rookie left guard Luke Goedeke.

But he did offer more enthusiasum for another rookie.

On late-second-round-pick Goedeke, Stinnie said he is “a great guy” who “works really hard” and he should become a “great player.”

Asked about defensive lineman Logan Hall, the manbeast out of the University of Houston taken with the first pick of the second round, Sitnnie brought more detail.

“Again, hard worker. He’s got a lot of energy. Good motor. I think he’s going to be able to go out there and disrupt a lot of things. I think he’s going to turn out to be a dawg,” Stinnie said of Hall.

There’s a lot of chatter at One Buc Palace about the dawg in Hall, the fire with which he plays.

Yeah, it’s just underwear football, but he’s a fierce athlete and even mild-mannered Todd Bowles went there this afternoon.

Joe can’t wait to see Hall put on the pads.

So the projected top 5 DL now are Vea, Gholston, Hicks, Logan Hall, Rakeem Nunez-Roches. Barrett, JTS and Nelson as OLB in our scheme.

    Am I missing someone?

  2. Christopher Schiefen Says:

Geno…you’re missing Gill, who had a sack in the SB.

  3. Scotty in Fat Antonio Says:

Don’t forget about DL Benning Potoa’e

  4. Coburn Says:

Yeah I like what Gill ha s brought in limited action. Didn’t realize how young he is still. Not sure if he can add a bit of size and not lose too much speed. I feel better about our dline, but I do worry about his durability. If we are going to add depth/rotational guys would be nice to feel like they’ll suit up all year. Only so much you can do at this point of year other than obviously Suh. We will see

  5. Bucs&Bolts Says:

Coach the young guys up bowels

  6. Jeebs the Honey Bear Says:

    Bring back Carl Nassib!

  7. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Missing OLB Andre Anthony…..7th round pick….may or may not be there.

What do you expect Stinnie to say about Goedeke…..”He’s a monster…..far better player than I am…I full well expect him to beat me out for the LG job”

  8. Ash Says:

Sapp seems to be pretty high on hall as well can’t wait to see him in pads.

Add that licht us younger and more strategic than I thought.

My thinking was that he would be gone right after Brady. But now I’m thinking he plans for us to stay as a powerhouse for a good while into the future. 10 years.

We are the perfect fit. We need someone that understands linemen. We’ve always had athletes. Licht understands linemen.

  10. adam from ny Says:
