How many 1st year WR’s actually make an impact in the NFL. It has happened more recently with Jefferson & Chase. But other than that, there is a big learning curve just like other positions
If I were Brady, I’d want the defense to improve so that I wouldn’t have to try and win games late all the time. We have WRs, if Gronk comes back (I think he will!) we don’t ‘need’ a TE, we have OL that have played with Tom and in a SB.

Replacing him is not gonna be easy!
Yes, we have Stinnie, but I am not so sure Stinnie is a good replacement for Marpet.

And whatever people want to think, Brady does not run that front office. BUCS were the ones who picked HIM up. LICHT is the one that consistently put together a team of weapons before he got here.
Brady is one most self aware people ever. He knows how important a good D is to a team’s success. He would want an interior pass rusher. He’s 45. The man doesn’t want to drop back 50x a game. He led the league in pass attempts last year! That was damn near malpractice by the team. Brady would rather be more efficient this year.
I think Brady wants whatever is best for the team, which is defense at this point. They upgraded right guard, we’re not sure how much of a downgrade left guard is with Stinnie. Plus they have Hainsey, who can back up center and guard or even win the left guard spot.
I definitely see them drafting OL but probably between round 3–5. They have shown they can get lineman later and develop them rather well.
