Keanu Neal Seems To Think Bucs Are Best Of Both Worlds

April 13th, 2022

Bucs safety Keanu Neal.

Joe had a college philosophy professor who once asked students to write down two objectives for the class. The two most popular answers were “easy” and “fun.”

This professor then explained easy meant boring, and a fun class meant interesting, so a fun class had to be challenging and difficult. Guess which way he leaned?

Joe was reminded of this listening to new Bucs safety Keanu Neal describe his coaches and teammates. It seems the Bucs have reached the two goals for which Joe’s old philosophy instructor strived.

Neal spoke about how the Bucs are very disciplined yet a bunch of dudes that like to have a good time while working hard.

“It’s a very disciplined group,” Neal said. “They love to have fun. They enjoy the game, enjoy being around each other. Just the environment, just being here, I can tell they really love coming to work and love being around each other, and that’s so important.

“That’s vital to winning. The culture that was built here so far over the past couple years has been awesome and I’m glad to be a part of it.”

Well, if you think about it, the Bucs didn’t get to be Super Bowl champions and remain as contenders by showing up, jerking around and loafing. Certainly not with Tom Brady in the building and not when Mount Arians would erupt when he saw sloppiness.

And Joe has heard guys like Playoff Lenny explain how the Bucs get along as teammates better than any team he has been on. Playoff Lenny referred to it as a “special” vibe. It’s a big reason why he returned a year ago.

It’s neat to hear a new guy come in and pick up on both the discipline and the camaraderie.

Oh and he is playing for his next /maybe final decent contract.
He will be lighter…hopefully full recovery time from knee and achilles & ready to thump some dudes like he did in years 1 and 2 for Falcons before the injuries

At work, we used the expression, “work hard, play hard.” You bust tail, and then at the end of the week party hardy with your co-workers. When everyone is disciplined and works together for a common purpose, a close camaraderie develops.

Yo, @Jaymus Pick6 Again, do you want it to work, or, are you just casting shadows against it for some stupid reason? Positive energie towards any situation is always beneficial. Having, and especially sendind doubts has the opposite effect. Look for the positive and maybe your life will change in positive ways.
