Antonio Brown Sounds Off On Bucco Bruce Arians

March 10th, 2022

Antonio Brown

The former Bucs receiver and mental patient, furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing, chef-stiffing Antonio Brown, went public with his grievances against Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians.

On “The Pivot Podcast” with Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor, Brown cited past problems with Arians dating back to their Steelers days, documents the curator, creator and overall guru of Pro Football Talk, the great Mike Florio. (Yeah, Brown hated Arians so much he signed two contracts to play for him. Odd, no?)

Basically, Brown claims Arians called him dumb when Arians was Steelers and Arians had it in for him so bad that Ben Roethlisberger had to intervene on Brown’s behalf to get him on the field.

“[Clark] and I know how Arians used to treat me,” Brown said. “You and I know that Bruce Arians said that A.B. isn’t smart enough to play the ‘X’ position. You and I know that Ben Roethlisberger had to say enough is enough and tell Bruce Arians that we have to play this guy. The public doesn’t know that.”

Brown then recounted the January stunt he pulled at MetLife Stadium when he wouldn’t go back on the field and Arians threw him off the team. Brown then proceeded to do topless jumping jacks in the end zone and run out of the tunnel.

Joe is convinced the Bucs’ Super Bowl hopes ran out the tunnel with easily-agitated Brown, who said he did this because it was a matter of “principle.”

“Bruce Arians has to respect me as a player,” Brown said to Clark. “I’m in the middle of a game, how you gonna tell me get the ‘F’ out of here? You know how it is in a game with testosterone and how you act on game day. You probably would have slapped him. If I can’t play, I can’t play. It’s a deltoid ligament.

“I have to have surgery in the next couple weeks. . . . I know I make football look easy and I know I could run 17 or 18 miles per hour, which is not normal with a hurt ankle, but I can’t do that over the course of a year. I’ll kill myself. I don’t have no mental health problem. I’m just about respect. I stand on principle.”

Does Brown throw furniture off a balcony, wing bikes at security guards and not pay bills as a matter of principle as well?

Joe has already brought word from a former NFL team doctor who stated Brown’s complaints that the Bucs played him while injured are nonsense and that Brown is full of it.

In a perverse way, Joe would like to see Brown end up with the Packers. Drama queen choke artist Aaron Rodgers and Brown would be trying to outdo each other to gain attention.

Brown claimed Arians dissed him. He conveniently didn’t mention how he dissed his Bucs teammates by quitting in the middle of a game in the thick of a playoff chase.

But yeah, “principle.”

  1. SB Says:

Who cares about what this POS says?
    His mom maybe?

  2. Jaymiss Pick6 Again Says:

    In a word…..Turd.

  3. Allen Lofton Says:

AB displays Bi-polar symptoms – without treatment will only get worse.

  4. Bobby M. Says:

Nothing is ever Brown’s fault…..even the way he explains his reaction to Arians during the game, it was due to testosterone. His hormones overwhelmed his decision making. From a mental standpoint, he’s on par with a 16 – 18 yr old. Super impulsive, no ability to accept responsibility or see beyond the moment.

The guy blames the Bucs for his suspension for Covid when it all could have been avoided by simply A) getting the actual vaccine B) following protocol for being unvaccinated and C) paying his chef $10k so that he never spills the beans. But somehow the Bucs are to blame?

It wont shock me if he ends up in Dallas….I really think that’s where he’s headed. Jerry Jones is on a mission to win another SB in his lifetime and he has a long track record of taking on players with character flaws.

  5. Pruritus Ani Says:

I think AB must post on here from time to time..

  6. SufferingSince76 Says:

He can keep on trying, but it’s not going to work. Everyone knows what a complete loon this guy is. His actions speak much loader than his lying lips. Of course, Listnfrmafar, Cleanhouse, et al will use this in order to continue their inane drivel about Arians.

  7. T REX Says:

AB is a turd and Arians is a turd in a golf cart

BRADY was the whole team. Geez we are gonna suck so bad this year.

  8. Ash Says:

Nah it was the wirfs injury that sealed it more than ab. Without ab bucs almost beat the rams and if wirfs is on the field Brady has more time to throw. I don’t like to think about it to much because it didn’t happen but if bucs beat the rams i really believe they repeat even with all the injuries.

  9. ClodHopper Says:

No mental health problem? Lol so he’s just a healthy, clear minded train wreck

  10. Beeej Says:

EVERYBODY plays while injured. Cole Beasley played with a frikkin broken leg

  11. Tampabaybucfan Says:

It’s hard to understand how anyone believes AB…..he has zero credibility except with the BA hater crowd…..not crowd….the few.

  12. jehzsa Says:

I’m glad to read that his ankle is doin’ so much better.

  13. Steven007 Says:

    “I don’t have no mental health problem”…

Hahaha, in a sea of ridiculous statements, gestures and acts, that’s the most blatant lie he’s probably ever told. And the irony of Ben, yet another player that he’s eviscerated on numerous occasions, supposedly came to his rescue is ludicrous.

  14. Brandon Says:

A “deltoid ligament”? I thought it was his ankle? This looks really bad for him being “smart enough to play the X” considering your deltoid is in your shoulder. If he really said this and wasn’t talking about his shoulder, then he’s a complete buffoon.

  15. Brandon Says:

Deltoid is shoulder, not ankle. Why isn’t anyone calling this dunce out on this?

  16. Anonymous Says:

At least we will have Evans and Darden to start the year.

  17. Robert Says:

    respect is earned.

  18. HC Grover Says:

We have Evans back at least.

  19. Volbuc40 Says:

He is a product of the me generation!! SMH!!

  20. SufferingSince76 Says:

Steven007, the mentally ill rarely recognize that they have a problem. They are usually the last to admit it, if ever. Enablers don’t help.

  21. Bruce Blahak Says:

    fookin kook!

  22. Scotty in Fat Antonio Says:

LOL…and BA has a track record with treating his players like he did AB. This guy is as a joke as KH speaking in Poland today.

  23. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Allen

Bi-polar with extreme narcissistic personality disorder…

And your right – he will only get worse over time without treatment.

  24. Bob in valrico Says:

He also helped stage his exit from steelers by wanting the ball all the time. Ben
was throwing the ball more to JuJu Shuster at the time. That also was too bitter a pill for Brown to swallow. Being selfish is in his DNA.

  25. Lamarcus Says:

“You better respect that Alpha male…. they will walk out on you” – says all women

  26. Allbuccedup Says:

    AB is a class act!

  27. Man Child Says:

Translation”The fat red man was mean to me”

  28. MadMax Says:

LOL, FOOL was walking away, alone, from the team huddle before the game….the vid is out there….he was already losing his sht before the game even started.

Go back to the pit FOOL, you dont belong in this palace! THATS what BA told him!

  29. Niles Says:

All you guys wanting Dassault Watson, wouldn’t Antonio Brown be the perfect match for Dassault? Maybe bring in another scumbucket receiver and we can have a trifecta!!!

  30. BuxfaninTX Says:

Im looking forward to ABs rap career with Kanye this summer…especially the part in the middle where he takes off his shirt and quits in the middle..

  31. Pewter Power Says:

I’ve never seen a guy go out like this at the end of a career. Dude is trying so hard to be relevant. From a front office and coaching standpoint there’s no other team that will look at his behavior and what he says then side with him over BA and the Bucs.

  32. New England Patriots Fan Says:

Yesterday on Cowherd: there was a discussion how the Malcom Butler interception ended the Russel Wilsons dynasty and broke the legion up. While allowing Brady to win his 4th SB first after almost decade and loses to Manning. And that if it didn’t occur Tom may have left NE when Jimmy was drafted or much earlier and entire NE and Brady second dynasty may have existed.

That sideline fight between AB and Bruce was the turning point of the Tampa bay buccaneers dynasty.

With AB Tampa goes on to win SB 3, without AB Tampa loses to SB winner at home.

Tom, Ali, Marpet, Jennsen, Fournette, Davis Gronk all leave.

You won’t seen cap exhausted Rams allow all their star FA to leave as they will willingly work it out to be on a dynastic team.

  33. LakelandSteve Says:

My Mama said, Stupid is as Stupid does.

  34. Robert Says:

    $$$ before ego!

  35. Cobraboy Says:

He can’t run because of a “deltoid ligament”, but can do jumping jacks with said “ligament” that needs surgery?

    WTF?

I’m sorry, but this guy is whacked, a future mental patient.

He does not need another contract. He needs a lobotomy or electric shock therapy.

  36. sasquatch Says:

When can we stop hearing about AB on JBF? The time for paying attention to his nonsense has passed.

  37. Calbucsfan Says:

    Yawn.

  38. Oddball Says:

    F AB

  39. Bucco Bruce Says:

I still from time to time look back at the Rams loss highlights. that comeback gave me chills like yeah we are about to do it again. then the pass that killed us. I don’t understand the blitz when we should have been in prevent D. first pass to Kupp would not have been if SMB had not tripped. and the second deep bomb was the dumbest play select on D I have ever witnessed. PREVENT!!!! But at the end of the Day it was the refs in the first half that dicated the final out come.

  40. Bucco Bruce Says:

I don’t know if I am the only one that feels like something just isn’t adding up with Tom Brady. Meaning he is coming back with Tampa. Who plays two decades, wins seven superbowls and just tweets his retirement? I mean pretty much all the great ones stood at the podium and had a tearful goodbye message to the fans, the organization and the league. No it doesn’t add up. Does he have an injury we don’t know about and is wanting to heal properly, is it to see if we would sign Godwin? is it to see what the rest of the teams do? If I was Tom knowing how my team exited the playoffs like that, knowing Sean Payton is gone, the NFC south sucks even more now. Bucs have 9 home games. Why would you retire with a year left in the contract. Why would the Bucs still not make any drastic top notch QB moves knowing the window to win is now and still open. Yeah…IMO he is coming back. I think its seeing how we moves players around. I think he is on the phone with with Licht and discussing what is needed. I think Tom loves a story line, but wants the last story line before the season starts. get Arron, Wentz, and other top stories out of the picture and have his comeback the main topic for the rest of the year. Call me crazy but I think that is what happens.

  41. Eric Says:

Brown said he couldn’t play but I thought he was upset he wasnt being targeted.

Also, if he hates Bruce why did he sign with the bucs?

I guess applying logic to anything AB is futile.

  42. GeeOh Says:

One word for this guy…… KAREN

  43. Gerinda Says:

I wouldn’t trust AB, unless he gets help first!!!

  44. Delusional Intelligence Says:

Cornholio Clown Sounds Off On Bucco Bruce Arians

    – There, fixed the headline for you.

  45. Jerry R Jones Says:

Brown sure has some selective memory. Guess he doesn’t remember all the crazy horsesh!t he was posting after he got dumped. Good riddance.

  46. westernbuc Says:

People who complain about a lack of respect are the worst kind of narcissists because they’re also stupid.

  47. David Says:

I agree with Bucco Bruce that TB12 is going to play this year.
Hopefully for the Bucs. If not the Bucs TB will play for the 49ers.
But like the other writer said TB wants his story line to dominate
Let’s hope he comes back to Tampa.

  48. TBfan Says:

BA…seriously…let it go. In the past. …You dissed the greatest QB in history ..the guy took you into his home my man. He did you an unbelievable favor…getting you back into the mix. He spoke for you man…and this is your appreciation!? Arians on his worst day has more respect than you will ever have again. Fact…you came from a hard background…but that can’t follow you through life. Again..let it go…we have…and you ditched your team at crunch time…and trust me…we’re over it

  49. cmurda Says:

If Joe moves on from Brady and A.B articles, it would be much appreciated. Those men do not play for this team. I want to hear about potential QB replacements not basket cases and confused GOATS

  50. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Brady was smart.
He let AB live in his house.

    Think about that.

  51. Bojim Says:

    Sour grape’s. Please move on.

  52. Anonymous Says:

    Phuck this guy.

  53. Your Mom Says:

So did Brady disrespect him too? Because he had bad things to say about #12 too…

If everyone you meet is an ash coal, then maybe you are the ash coal, Antonio.

  54. Brazen Zebra Says:

Perfect! Aaron Rodgers, the worst drama queen in NFL history, teams up with Antonio Brown, the worst prima donna in NFL history. What a show! They both go on a rampage and leave the Packers hanging.
