Tom Brady: My Left Shoulder “Is Sore As Sh*t”

January 17th, 2022

The Goat is human.

Tom Brady was talking about one of his favorite topics tonight: training and body maintenance.

Speaking on SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio, Brady speculated that he’s thrown around 500,000 passes in his day, and he said that he’s calculated the math in past years so he’s not just guessing.

All that wear and tear on Brady’s right arm is astounding. But shared tonight that his arm feels perfect — though his other arm feels more like a 44-year-old that of a 44 year old athlete.

“A lot of throwing, and ironically, the shoulder that I’m always sore in is my left shoulder not my right shoulder. So explain that,” Brady said. “The one that’s done all the work, it’s not sore. You know, I think because I take a lot of hits on my [left shoulder]; I actually don’t give it the kind of TLC it needs with my treatments. I keep my arm really pliable, my right arm, and it’s never sore. And my left arm, I don’t and it’s sore as sh*t. So that’s really the result of the TB12 method right there.”

Joe did quite a fist pump when Brady said his throwing arm feels so good. Joe is smelling another 5,316-yard season from Brady in 2022.

Enjoy Today’s Ira Kaufman Podcast.

Maybe like, try the TB12 method on the left shoulder then?

  2. Dew Says:

Randy Moss said on TV tonight the Bucs only made 4 out of 13 3rd down opportunities vs the Eagles. Is that true? Sure doesn’t seem like it but o can’t find the stat. Randy said that concerns him.

  3. #1bucsfan Says:

LeighRoy I was thinking the same thing lol. Great to hear his throwing arm feels good. Let’s gooo

Stat is correct but why is it concerning when you totally dominate your opponent?

  5. timbucs2 Says:

If we get Godwin back, I foresee those Manning single-season records falling 🙂

  6. Rob In Land O Lakes Says:

Really missing a Rams/Cardinals open thread, where JBF posters can meltdown and predict a loss based on a 3 yard run in the 2nd quarter.

  7. cmurda Says:

@Dew. Sure that’s true but it’s all relative. The Bucs were owning the Eagles on 3rd down in the first half but they turtled when it was appropriate to turtle. How many 3rd and longs in the 2nd half that the Bucs either still ran or threw a short pass to keep the clock moving. I go off the eye test and our offense dominated when the game was in doubt.

  8. cmurda Says:

Agreed Rob. I was hoping to find that thread here so I could talk about how I can’t see the Cards winning this game. I’m prepared and just fine with the realization that we will probably be playing the Rams.

  9. Izod Says:

Slim chance Bucs get past tonight’s winner. Almost no chance of beating the Packers in GB. Best chance is another ref-assisted win against tonight’s winner and playing SF at home.

  10. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Rob/cmurda

Why not here.. why not now?

  11. Jmarkbuc Says:

LA would appear to be loaded with talent. Akers and Michel look quick

  12. Jmarkbuc Says:

Damn.. I took Higbee, Kupp in my daily. So of course OBJ.

  13. cmurda Says:

Sounds good to me. That AZ defense is looking leaky. Getting beaten on way too many 3rd downs. That TD should never have happened. Baker is better than that. He played that incredibly poorly. Odell has no speed. Eyes should have peeked at QB

  14. Bucs Guy Says:

More concerned with playing the Rams than the Packers.

  15. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Yeah

Come on Cards, you can’t suck this bad can you?

  16. Bird Says:

    Izod

You literally make the same negative comment every post. You must be fun at parties

Maybe jags would be better team to follow. Then your comments might make more sense

  17. Francisco Guzman Says:

Cards suck!!!! Again these other wideouts better step next week. It’s gonna be the rams!!!

  18. Show Me the TDs Says:

@Joe, please tell me again, why we shouldn’t have gone after OBJ. He’s a head-case, washed up, too much trouble or it will be a lot of fun covering him???

  19. BucsFan81 Says:

Next week will be our championship game. I don’t think the packers or 49ers can beat the bucs. Rams scare me though they have a lot of talent and we haven’t beaten them in a couple of years.

  20. Francisco Guzman Says:

You can’t be finesse against the rams. You gotta get physical with them as well.

  21. cmurda Says:

You should be Bucs Guy because we aren’t playing the Packers.

Wow. Rams are dominating early on. No Hopkins. I just don’t think AZ has the firepower. Plan on the Rams. We are going to have to do this the hard way. That was a cute effort by the Cards but they are being outclassed in every way right now. They just beat this Rams team. This is a divisional matchup. I have to believe the Cards will at least not embarrass themselves.

  22. Lesko_Brandon Says:

Highly likely, Bucs will be playing the Rams. GO BUCS !!!

  23. Francisco Guzman Says:

Murray has to be one of the most overrated QBs in the league. He’s too short.

  24. Francisco Guzman Says:

Cmurda Murray is ass cheeks. He sucks.

  25. DaBux Says:

That was one of his better episodes.

  26. Show Me the TDs Says:

Can’t see my post, so I’ll try again. Joe, please tell us again why we didn’t go after OBJ.

  27. cmurda Says:

@Show Me. Oh that’s because he’s half the dude he used to be. Don’t be fooled. This Rams team has a bunch of weapons. OBJ doesn’t take over games. Cooper does.

  28. Francisco Guzman Says:

Stopping the run is gonna be very important next week and getting a rush on Stafford.

  29. Jmarkbuc Says:

What a week to have Jensen ailing and Wirfs in doubt. Rams are Physical.

  30. Francisco Guzman Says:

The cardinals are dreadful!!!! Feels like we gonna need Wirfs. This team has to find a way and run the ball next week.

  31. JimmyJack Says:

Origionally wanted the Rams for revenge. After losing Wirfs Im now rooting for the team that has the worser DL, especially if one team looks bad against the run.

For anybody not watching that team is clearly the Cardinals. Not sure how they can win with their DL getting pushed around but they almost just forced a fumble.

  32. Lesko_Brandon Says:

Cards have no energy. They look lost and flat.

  33. cmurda Says:

Actually the Cards are going to get embarrassed if they don’t stop the run. The Rams are exclusively physically kicking the crap out of the middle of the AZ D. AZ is so shellshocked by the run, they have no pressure when Stafford drops back. This Cards team just got punched in the mouth the whole 1st quarter. Rams are getting some sort of points on this drive. Cards better respond soon or this game is shaping up as another playoff snoozer.

  34. Show Me the TDs Says:

Courage, I don’t care about the Rams. The Bucs could sure use him. OBJ might be half a good as he used to be, but he’s still twice as good as Perriman.

  35. JimmyJack Says:

Show me the TDs we didnt go after OBJ because its stupid. He wasnt going to play bench WR for us. Be rational.

  36. Show Me the TDs Says:

    *cmurda, not courage. Lol

  37. cmurda Says:

@Show Me. That’s true but it would have defied common sense. At the time, are you going to way overpay to pick up OBJ to be the 4th WR behind ME, Godwin and AB. Now, sure we would love to have him.

  38. Lesko_Brandon Says:

The good thing about this game is the Bucs scouting group can go to bed early and plan against the Rams. This game is over!

  39. VSyl Says:

    OMG this cardinals team sucks!

  40. Jmarkbuc Says:

Damn AZ Did not come ready to play. Kingsbury not looking like all that

  41. Francisco Guzman Says:

That game was still a game but it got away from them in the second half against the rams. Defense was terrible! Can’t fall behind against the rams. It was a very slow start.

  42. cmurda Says:

That’s not a TD but it will be after the next play is run. Cards are getting physically beaten right at the LOS on both sides of the ball. The fix to getting back in this game is obvious but wow. This has been a rough showing for a good AZ defense. This seems to come down to McVay > Klingsbury

  43. HC Grover Says:

Rams clobbering Cards. Looks like we get a chance at em’ next Sunday. What a game that will be.

  44. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rams where 10-15 on 3rd downs in that earlier game. Not gonna win much playing like that.

  45. cmurda Says:

I meant the play after the next play

  46. VSyl Says:

Stafford could use some Brady’s lessons on QB sneak

  47. cmurda Says:

He got it on the 2nd one though. Barely. He’s going to get himself killed going high like that. Lucky he squeaked in.

  48. PassingThru Says:

AZ limped through the end of the season, losing 4 out of their last 5 games. Though the Rams had trouble too, they righted the ship and gained considerable momentum. I wasn’t expecting a competitive game, but this looks worse than I anticipated.

  49. cmurda Says:

I like how we hijacked Brady’s fake news wrong sore shoulder. Oh it’s the left shoulder? Let’s talk Rams / Cards or should I just say Rams since only 1 team has so far shown up.

  50. Jerry Says:

We’ll be playing LA.. it’s the one match-up I’ve been concerned about since the offseason. It’s a horrible match-up even when we are healthy. It’s why I was rooting for the Cowboys yesterday. I was hoping the Packers would take the Rams out like they did last year. Because that’s the one team in the NFC that that has a very good chance of beating us outright.

  51. Rob In Land O Lakes Says:

    Glad I hijacked this thread!

I forgot how much I hate Coach McSpaz. Part of the allure of Bucs v. Rams is watching that dweeb NOT running up and down the sidelines.

  52. Francisco Guzman Says:

Jerry if they can’t beat the rams at home then it’s not meant to be. They do however need these ther wideouts to step up because they will try and shut Evans out.

  53. Francisco Guzman Says:

This arizona team is ass cheeks. Murray is hot garbage. They need Wirfs next week i feel. Ughhhj

  54. Jmarkbuc Says:

Rams crushed us when I was a kid in 79

Crushed us even harder 20 years later in 99.. 11-6? Come on!

Surely the third time will be a charm.

  55. cmurda Says:

Meh. I ain’t scared of Stafford in the playoffs. Next week he is going to get a team that can stop the run and when clicking, can make the QB have happy feet. It’s not going to be as easy as those first 2 drives. Doesn’t help when the Cards offense is completely lost. Wow. This game is over. It will take a miracle play for the Cards to get back in this game. Kyler and the offense have no clue at all. I’m okay with the fact that we are playing the Rams but Kliff is embarrassing himself on National TV. This is starting to look a whole lot like Bucs – Eagles.

  56. MadMax Says:

Rams are clearly the dominant team tonight….so rams it is.

  57. Mike in Missouri Says:

If we have to face the Rams without Wirffs, we’re toast. Hate to say it.

  58. Francisco Guzman Says:

This defense has to play physical next week. Can’t play soft.

  59. cmurda Says:

That 1999 game still pisses me off so bad Jmark. It was the biggest frigging fluke that Warner’s prayer landed right in Proehl’s hands just perfectly with perfect coverage. I want to DESTROY this team now that you reminded me of that.

  60. Elita Vita Says:

Oh my goodness this Rams team will be challenging.

  61. DBS Says:

Hey Guzman. Will the Bucs need the other wideouts to step up? And will they need more than Evans and Gronk?

  62. Lesko_Brandon Says:

Cards can’t just get a break

  63. JimmyJack Says:

Dont worry about the Rams. We got the GRAVEDIGGERS. Maybe even better is that Devin White started taking off yesterday just like he did last offseason.

I will compare a matchup with the Rams to our game vs the Saints last year……..Playing them in the playoffs we looked nothing like the matchups from earlier in the season.

  64. Jmarkbuc Says:

If B Kelly had timed his jump just a half second later… Proehl never catches it.

  65. cmurda Says:

AZ is getting shredded. The only stop was a not great throw but pretty rough drop by Akers. Look at that punt. LOL. It can’t get much worse for the Cards. It’s almost must score time already and you got the ball at your 1. Good luck with that. Aaron Donald is salivating right now.

  66. Francisco Guzman Says:

DBS the rams have a good secondary. It’s gonna take more than evans and gronk. They will have to take evans out or gronk.

  67. cmurda Says:

Then the Bert Emanuel catch that later became a new rule. It didn’t matter for us then though. Damn you Shaun King.

  68. Tackleblockwin Says:

Cards really missing a certain stud WR tonight too.

  69. HC Grover Says:

Looks like we play the Ninnies or the Pack for the NFC and a Souper Bowl.

  70. cmurda Says:

Dude just said no football move made and then the replay literally showed a catch and a football move. WTF is this dude watching? That’s a catch and fumble out of bounds.

  71. Jmarkbuc Says:

Nah.. I don’t blame a rookie Quarterback from Tulane…if Bert’s catch was ruled a catch we would’ve won that game..

That’s the way we did it that whole year.. keep close, win in the end.

And then a dynasty would’ve been born.

    I know.. woulda, shoulda, coulda.

  72. JimmyJack Says:

5 minute ref huddle to get the call wrong.

  73. cmurda Says:

Make a call. Jeez. Yup. That’s the right cal. I love these experts that can’t even see the obvious after a replay. The hopstep is a football move. McVay got a little horny with this challenge. He’s going to lose it.

  74. JGhotier Says:

Love your last sentence here Joe

Love more that Brady is so different personality-wise in his tenure w/ the Bucs too…and I dig it too!

  75. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Green caught that…

NY better give it to him or the entire east coast is changing the channel 😂😂

  76. JGhotier Says:

….he’s much more open than usual too w/ some things

  77. SPARKY Says:

The only question left to this game is why does Kupp need 2 p’s at the end of his name.

  78. PassingThru Says:

Don’t forget the 1979 NFC Championship Game. The Bucs prevented the Rams from scoring a single TD, yet lost 9-0.

  79. cmurda Says:

Oh I’m kidding. I love King. That man gave all he had to this franchise. Quite frankly all he had was mediocrity when at his best but he provided some memorable film. That game against the Rams in an epic shootout on MNF in Ray Jay was amazing. I still remember that filthy play between he and Dunn when Dunn pitched it back to King. We won that shootout. We are going to beat the Rams next week at Ray Jay also. I guess it wasn’t good enough to be a catch. A washed up AJ Green is not good enough. They would have a shot with Hopkins maybe but the Cards offense got nothing.

  80. Rod Munch Says:

Cardinals are such losers, it’s why I wanted them to win.

The Rams are a bad matchup, but it is what it is, will have to beat the Rams for first time in franchise history in the postseason.

  81. DBS Says:

    Ballgame. It’s the Rams.

  82. VSyl Says:

    Rams it is

  83. cmurda Says:

LMAO Kyler. Okay. I’ve seen enough. WTF are you doin young man. As my Italian family would say Arizona fans — Fahget Aboudit

  84. Rod Munch Says:

Who are the idiots who wanted to play the Rams over the Cardinals? Morons.

  85. Francisco Guzman Says:

Murray one of the most overrated QBs in the league.

  86. Tackleblockwin Says:

    Well that just ended it.

  87. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Munch cardinals are dreadful. We are different. The bucs are gonna have to match their physicality.

  88. Rod Munch Says:

Murray isn’t overrated, he’s just young and streaky. People think any QB who isn’t Brady is a bust, and don’t forget, Brady ended his Pats career with a pick-6.

  89. Jmarkbuc Says:

That game on that cold Monday night was the greatest Game ever played at Raymond James Stadium. I was so amped, and so hammered, I had a hangover for three days.

  90. HC Grover Says:

    We can beat the Rams.

  91. VSyl Says:

The Cardinals lack a leader at QB or HC. They have neither, totally apathetic.

  92. BuccaneerButters Says:

Welp stick a fork in the desert birds. Good grief they look atrocious. Hopefully the boys upfront are healthy. We’re playing LA

  93. Tackleblockwin Says:

Dumb Cards coach not running the ball enough and getting some short passes called to get Kyler settled in.

  94. JimmyJack Says:

Cardinals are just a little shellshocked. They will get over it and make this a game.

  95. Jmarkbuc Says:

Aren’t the Rams playing with backup backup safeties? And nobody’s open?

  96. Rod Munch Says:

Francisco – I’m not saying the Bucs don’t have a chance because of this game, I just don’t like the match-up from the last two regular season loses to the Rams. It’s going to be a really tough matchup, the top 2 teams I didn’t want the Bucs to play were the Saints, if they made it, and then the Rams, both are match-up issues.

The Cards meanwhile were the team I most wanted the Bucs to play – even more so than the Eagles, mainly because they’re insanely streaky, likely we’re seeing tonight.

  97. cmurda Says:

Did the Cards just pick up Darden. That return looked like a Darden move. Wow. It has all gone down to toilet for AZ. There’s no coming back. It’s too deep of a jam. You can’t go down 3 TD’s. 6:45 left in 1st half and that’s the 1st 1st down for AZ. Rams defense is good but Kyler is no Brady. He hasn’t done anything whatsoever in this game. Nothing but incompletions and a pick 6. That ain’t gonna get it done. That completion that should have been a pick was his best play. Yikes.

  98. Cobraboy Says:

Murray, Hurts, Tua…all cut from the same cloth.

    Sporadically exciting mixed with bonehead.

  99. cmurda Says:

I’m trying to stoke some confidence but I’m not going to lie. I don’t like it one bit Rod.

  100. Swampbuc Says:

If Wirfs can’t go that left arm won’t be the only thing sore as sh!t, and that left shoulder might just cave in. The Rams are killing it in the tranches tonight.

  101. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Munch sooner or later we will get a win. Can’t play that soft coverage though and they need a pass run on Stafford.

  102. Cobraboy Says:

    Kingsbury’s Last Stand?

  103. Francisco Guzman Says:

Murray is good? Yeah right. The guy’s ass cheeks. He sometimes locks into one read. Too short etc.

  104. Jmarkbuc Says:

The Rams are so amped up maybe they’ll burn themselves out before next week

  105. cmurda Says:

Wow. Kyler has sucked but that was just as much on Conner. This is the nail in the coffin time for the Rams. Like the nail is already in the coffin but this is more of an official opportunity. I don’t want the Rams to score much more. At least let it be close enough that they need their starters still in the 4th qtr.

  106. Francisco Guzman Says:

You gotta beat the best teams in order to advance. At home. Our defense needs to get their hands on their receivers. You can’t give them a free release.

  107. cmurda Says:

    Cobra? As in canning Kingsbury?

  108. Francisco Guzman Says:

If the cardinals could get a td. They have been hot garbage though.

  109. Rod Munch Says:

That MNF game vs the Rams was insane, the most rowdy crowd I’ve ever been a part of, the most fun I’ve ever had at a game. Warren Sapp destroying Kurt Warner on a pick-6, and Lynch killing Marshall Faulk, would be the plays you’d remember, except for of course, what stands out was that awesome King – Dunn – Jacquez Green play.

Man, that game is fun, might go rewatch it again on YouTube instead of wasting time on this game.

  110. cmurda Says:

22 yards and 2 picks. Not exactly going so hot for Kyler. I don’t think Kyler is exactly elite yet but I didn’t expect this type of diarrhea. Credit to the Rams but there has been a whole lot wrong that has been all Kyler.

  111. Jmarkbuc Says:

Murray is the best shortstop in the NFC West..

  112. Rod Munch Says:

cmurda – I’m with you on the Rams, the more I watch this, the less I like it. But I also think of last year, going to play the Saints in the playoffs, I figured the Bucs would win solely because they couldn’t lose 3 in a row, right??… So we can use that same logic here.

  113. VSyl Says:

Murray is bad…Absolute no mental control or resilience.

  114. cmurda Says:

@Francisco. False start followed by an incomplete. Survey says no. Dammit. The Rams are going to have half their starters on the bench before the 3rd quarter even starts. My goodness Kyler. Run the ball. Do something. This looks like a scared kitten getting eaten by a tiger

  115. Oneilbuc Says:

This is what happens when you don’t have a running game!! I told yall running game matters!!!

  116. Buc4evr Says:

Looks like it’s the Rams. The D better find a way to control Stanford’s roll outs and need to get to him often. Hit him hard and often at the risk of a roughing penalty. Needs to hit the turf hard.

  117. Elita Vita Says:

Perhaps the Rams will be overconfident next week.

  118. cmurda Says:

28 yards passing and 28 yards rushing throughout the WHOLE 1st HALF. It’s one thing to struggle. It’s another to choke so hard the poop leaks off the bed.

  119. Francisco Guzman Says:

BL is gonna have to construct a game plan to move the football against that defense. You have to attack them. Can’t abandon the run.

  120. orlbucfan Says:

Oh well, I sure would like to see the Bucs kick Ram butt. I was at that 1979 game. Lee Roy Selmon and posse kept Rams out of the end zone, but Doug Williams couldn’t do squat. LVD is going to have to get his boyz revved up in case Wirfs is out.

  121. cmurda Says:

Yes Oneil. That is how to beat the Rams. Our defense is going to need to grind and keep them out of the endzone because points won’t be as easy for our offense against that Rams D.

  122. HC Grover Says:

Now I see the importance of the seed to get home field.

  123. JimmyJack Says:

Alls we gotta do is play better offense and defense then the Cards.

  124. Lesko_Brandon Says:

Wow, i did not realize Raheem Morris is such a genius DC.

  125. Rod Munch Says:

Kyler is just a young and extremely streaky passer, as he gets older, he’ll get better. If the Cards want to give up on him, I’ll send over a 1st and Trask, and he can come here and sit on the bench behind Brady for year, learn how to win big games.

But he’s going to be fine long term, and if he isn’t, if he falls apart mentally after this game, then great, that removes the Cards from the NFC powerhouse list for another decade or so.

  126. Lesko_Brandon Says:

Who would you rather have as your QB, Kyler Murray or Dak Prescott ? 🤣

  127. Tackleblockwin Says:

We can beat the Rams. It won’t be easy, but it is doable.

  128. JimmyJack Says:

2 things….Cardinals cannot stop the run. Wont be an issue for the Bucs.

Cardinals cant generate pressure on the QB. We do that and it will be a much tougher game next week.

  129. Francisco Guzman Says:

Cardinals don’t even have a first down lol. 😂😂

  130. Francisco Guzman Says:

The cardinals ended the first half without a first down. I would love to know the last time that has happened. It’s almost impossible.

  131. Rod Munch Says:

I was going to mock the Cards for the draw there, but really, that is probably the right thing to do. If they get a TO and it’s 24 or 28-0 the game is even more over than it is now. Go to half-time, regroup, come out and get a TD and then it’s a 2-score game. Yeah, very unlikely to happen, but probably their best chance.

What a bunch turds though. Now everyone can see why I wanted the Cards, regardless of the round.

  132. Lesko_Brandon Says:

Don’t under estimate power of the Bucs fans this week. We will be there full force booing Stafford and the Rams! GO BUCS !!!!

  133. Rod Munch Says:

Unbelieve that the Packers again get more injured teams before they face them, it’s been the entire year, everyone they face has some huge injury, and the Packers barely beat them anyways.

  134. Francisco Guzman Says:

Well the bucs will really need to bring their A game on both sides. We shall see.

  135. JimmyJack Says:

Kyler Murray is one of these running QBs. Hes got like a 4 or 5 year window unless he can learn to work from the pocket. If tonight is any indicator he aint got it.

  136. Tackleblockwin Says:

Though the game is pretty much over, I am just watching to see if any players tonight pull an AB after HT.

  137. Francisco Guzman Says:

The rams just punted 3 times the last time we faced them. That’s awful. The defense has to show up in this game.

  138. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Munch Bosa is playing in that game. And the linebacker as well. Those guys are not gonna miss that game hopefully. I give the 49ers a good chance but it’s on jimmy g to play well.

  139. Rod Munch Says:

JimmyJack – Murray isn’t Lamar Jackson and just a runner with a big arm, he can throw it really well, can be very accurate, generally speaking. As he ages, and runs less, he should become a better passer. Again, he’s just a very streaky player and he’s not getting the best coaching. He’d be someone that would really benefit with a coach like Gruden, who is a proven NFL coach with NFL schemes. I’m not a big fan of Gruden for how he destroyed the Bucs, but in terms of a head coach who just needs to teach a player with that talent, how to win big NFL games, I think just getting NFL coaching would be a huge upgrade for Murray. Obviously it’s not going to happen, but if I’m the Arizona owner, I’m getting a new proven HC with an NFL system for Murray before it’s too late.

  140. Tackleblockwin Says:

Watch Rodgers go hurry up a ton vs the 49ers to minimize their Dline rotation.

  141. Rod Munch Says:

Francisco – Is Bosa confirmed back? I didn’t hear that. Losing Jimmy G, even if he’s not that good, is still a huge deal as Lance isn’t ready yet, and rookies, going on the road in the playoffs, it never ends well. If Jimmy is good to go, and Bosa is back, then yeah, I think the 49ers have a good chance of knocking off the Packers.

  142. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Munch not much of a fan. He can be very inaccurate at times.

  143. BucsFan81 Says:

Well no matter what happens win or lose against the rams I will go for any team to knock them out. Don’t want them playing in there home stadium for a Super Bowl and I hate them like I hate the saints. Both rams and saints play dirty and take cheap shots.

  144. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Munch jimmy is playing! Shanahan said he’s playing. The injury is not as bad.

  145. Tackleblockwin Says:

    @ BucsFan81

Yes can’t stand Saints, Rams, and Eagles.

  146. Rod Munch Says:

The worst part about the Cards getting destroyed like this is that they’re not even playing hard, the Cards aren’t hitting anyone, they’re not making this difficult at all. The Rams are going to be at full healthy probably.

  147. Francisco Guzman Says:

Beckham is going offf on this crappy secondary. Our secondary is gonna have to be big next week.

  148. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Rod Munch

Gruden has NEVER developed a young QB.

  149. Rod Munch Says:

Francisco – How in the hell did I miss that? I was listening to the radio broadcast earlier of this game and they said separated shoulder and he’s very questionable. I turned on the TV but muted it.

  150. JimmyJack Says:

Rod Munch just based off tonight the Rams are doing a really good job of keeping Kyler in the pocket. And he looks freaking horrible dude.

I would say he has a long ways to go to be successful in the postseason……..I havent seen a much Cardinals football but looks like he is one of them guys who buys all this time with his feet a lot. Puts up a lot of nice numbers that way but the soon as you run into a defense that takes away your scramble your left with just a bad QB. Call it the Michael Vick effect.

  151. Rob In Land O Lakes Says:

Stafford took a nice hit to the chest.

  152. BradyBucs Says:

    RAMS 31
    BUCS 17

    Our season ends on Sunday.

Rams are just a TERRIBLE MATCHUP for us. Worse than the Saints.

No way our Defense holds this Rams team in check. And no way our Offense puts up a bunch of points on that D. Brady will be sacked multiple times.

This was a WORST CASE SCENARIO for the Bucs to have to play the Rams again.

  153. Rod Munch Says:

Jmarkbuc – I’m not a Gruden fan, and I’m not even talking about developing a young guy, although I guess he would be to some extent. My point is you need an NFL coach who can teach NFL fundamentals, a pro style offense, as opposed to his college coach he has now. That, I believe, would eventually make him less streaky, more fundamentally sound, which is what I think he needs. Gruden is just who came to mind, but it could be any offensive minded proven headcoach who runs an NFL pro-style offense.

  154. Francisco Guzman Says:

Just a lame ass performance from the cardinals.

  155. Rod Munch Says:

JimmyJack – That’s literally what being streaky means. It means one week you can be all-world, next week you can look clueless. That’s more about coaching than the player. He’s had pressure in his face all night and has a very poor scheme on top of it. If all you did was watch the Saints / Bucs game from SNF, you’d say Brady stinks, shouldn’t be in the NFL.

  156. Francisco Guzman Says:

BradyBucs keep sleeping on brady. This team will be ready. Our defense won’t stink it up like they did last time.

  157. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Munch it’s a sprained shoulder. He’s playing.

  158. Rod Munch Says:

You’d hope with it being division rivals that the game would at least get chippy and you’d get some cheap shots by the Cardinals.

Instead you get a run up the middle, followed by a 1 yard pass, down by 28 in the 3rd… Sounds like Leftwich’s dream, if he didn’t have the pesky Arians telling him to open it up.

  159. Francisco Guzman Says:

BradyBucs this team will be ready for the lambs. Players have to step up though. Can’t have a slow start

  160. Rod Munch Says:

Francisco – They said on the radio, separated shoulder – I know because I remember cursing at the radio. But yeah, that’s a big difference. Good to hear.

  161. SPARKY Says:

Only question left to this game is why does Kupp need 2 p’s at the end of his name.

  162. Rod Munch Says:

Donald threw a punch, I saw it! He needs to be suspended for next week!

  163. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Munch surprised they would say that. He suffered the injury in the second quarter. Looks like he played through it in the second half.

  164. Francisco Guzman Says:

Down by 20. Cards need a miracle. They need stops!!!!!

  165. Francisco Guzman Says:

Their defense needs something like a turnover.

  166. BradyBucs Says:

    Francisco,

It’s not about us not “being ready” to play the Rams.

It’s a PERSONNEL issue. We just don’t have the personnel to match-up with the Rams.

  167. BucsFan81 Says:

Hope Jordan whitehead is getting our defense ready to put on the big boy pants. We are going to have to bring it like we did in the packers game last year in the NFC championship.

  168. adam from ny Says:

been saying the cardinals are scrubs for a while now…yeah they started hot, but have been no better than the seahawks in the second half of the season…

anyway, don’t be punks on this site guys…you all know in order to deserve and win a superbowl, we’ve gotta go thru teams like the saints last year, and the rams this year…

no cheap sh!t wins vs scrubivores (see herbivores)…these cards are herbs

  169. Francisco Guzman Says:

Cardinals one of the most penalized teams. Just stupidity.

  170. Steven007 Says:

We will be getting them on a short week for them, traveling cross country, and playing on grass. None of those things are equalizers, but better then a normal week and no travel. And Rams fans don’t travel nearly as well as other teams so it should be a fully throated home crowd. Obviously none of that is meaningful unless we play a great game. I have no doubt our team will be up for the game. Should be a good one.

  171. FredM Says:

    @BradyBucs

Way to stay positive, bro. Real fans don’t trash their team’s chances before the game even starts.

Yeah, it’s gonna be a huge battle, but the Chiefs looked almost unbeatable in last year’s SB and look what happened there.

    GO BUCS!

  172. Francisco Guzman Says:

This cardinals secondary is complete trash!!!!! The bucs corners will be tested deep.

  173. Francisco Guzman Says:

I keep saying it but if our offense is gonna move the football they have to get production from these other guys. It’s gonna be tough to move the ball against this team with just gronk and evans producing. Not gonna happen.

  174. Tackleblockwin Says:

When we played Rams previously I think we were short some of our CBs and JPP.

  175. Rod Munch Says:

    God, the Cardinals are pitiful.

  176. JimmyJack Says:

What we can learn here is you gotta have a defense to beat this Rams team……Lucky for us we got the GRAVEDIGGERS. And we got Devin White coming off a great game.

Its going to be one hell of a matchup!!

  177. Joe Says:

@Joe, please tell me again, why we shouldn’t have gone after OBJ

At the time the Bucs had Antonio Brown and Chris Godwin.

Also, there is this little thing called a “salary cap.” Bucs had very little cash to play with.

  178. Rod Munch Says:

Was Marpet out the last game vs the Rams? I know in the first game he was, but it seems like the line was not complete for this last game, or I’m just remembering it wrong.

  179. Ben the GA Buc Says:

If we can get to Stafford, he will put the ball on the ground and give it away in the air. Pass rush is the biggest thing next week.

  180. JimmyJack Says:

Guzman. We got production from our other guys. Brady does an excellent job of spreading the ball around.

You might get your dream and see Johnson or Grayson or Brate have a big day. They are certainly capable. But when you got Tom Brady picking apart the other defense you certainly dont need it.

If you wanna worry about something you better start worrying about the right side of our line.

  181. Rod Munch Says:

    Joe Says:

@Joe, please tell me again, why we shouldn’t have gone after OBJ

At the time the Bucs had Antonio Brown and Chris Godwin.

    ———

I remember at the time saying you can not have too much depth, of course the Bucs should make every effort to get OBJ if he wants to come here. Also said of course he’s not washed up, just watch his plays, his QB in Cleveland stinks.

Reminder everyone, if you can upgrade a position, you do so.

  182. Oxycodoms Says:

Hope baker is ok. Silver lining is its bowles second look at rams third if you count last year . Thats going to be a big help

  183. Tackleblockwin Says:

    @Rod

I don’t recall Ali missing any games this year.

  184. JimmyJack Says:

Was Mat Gay the one who was affraid of the South endzone? Or was that Agaeriyo?

If it was Gay the Bucs might wanna thibk about making the Rams go South for the 4th.

  185. JimbobBucsFan Says:

Who is this Matt Gay guy? Oh yeah, now I recall. 🙄

  186. Rod Munch Says:

Tackleblockwin – you’re right, I found the snap count for the game and the whole line was there.

Oh, it was AB was out in that game, I had forgot that – and Ali and Antonio both start with an A, so obviously that confused me.

  187. Francisco Guzman Says:

JimmyJack they gonna need it next week. I am telling you. They gonna take Evans out of the equation. They’re gonna mix up coverages. Facing a much better secondary.

  188. Francisco Guzman Says:

This might be the game where we miss godwin. I hope not.

  189. Rod Munch Says:

Cutting Gay was another dumb move. You stick with the kid as he loses you two games his rookie year, takes you from 9-7 to 7-9 — and then, after taking the loses, you give up on him.

The shortsightedness when it comes to kickers in this area is unbelievable. Young kickers are going to miss kicks, and they get better in year 2, and if they’re good, will be pro-bowlers by year 3. Literally said that at the time, and it literally happened.

Some of us have been watching football for a long time and we’re good at seeing trends.

  190. Tackleblockwin Says:

    @Rod

It’s hard keeping up with all these injuries every week.

  191. Joe Says:

    Rod Munch:

So if you knew what Joe wrote, why did you even ask?

  192. JimmyJack Says:

Guzman I dont see it with Evans. I seen the Bucs moving Evans all over the field yesterday. That tells me they can move him around and find ways to get him into better matchups……..Their not going to be able to use one coberage to take him out of the game.

And after seeing that I dont think Mike has ever been taken out of a game. The Bucs just happen to have other recievers to go to when Mike eats up all the attention. Now they dont have that and we saw the Bucs do sone different stuff yesterday…….Wierd i didnt heard one person give Byron any props for that.

  193. JimmyJack Says:

Munch it was a good move. We went from bad kicking to good.

Forget whatever Gay did. We got the results needed.

  194. Francisco Guzman Says:

JimmyJack you do know they have one of the best corners in the game? Meaning the rams. Again you think this offense can put up 28 or more against this rams team next sunday? Idk. It feels like the defense will have to be big next week. They have to slow down this rams offense.

  195. Rod Munch Says:

Joe – I didn’t ask anything, I was quoting whoever you were you quoting…

BTW, I agree with you on the salary cap, he would have wanted to come here as a min wage player, but that’s not the argument made at the time, not that I remember in any case. What I saw over and over again was that he was washed up and the Bucs didn’t need him.

  196. Lesko_Brandon Says:

Inthought Cards coach is the coach of the year ? LOL !!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  197. Francisco Guzman Says:

The cardinals have put zero pressure on Stafford. Last time we played them the bucs hardly touched me. That’s gonna be the key. Can they get some pressure on Stafford.

  198. Tackleblockwin Says:

The Rams have a Barbie doll stadium.

  199. Rod Munch Says:

JimmyJack – We didn’t go from a bad kicker to a good kicker, we went from a rookie kicker with a huge leg who showed a ton of promise, to an old kicker who is solid but also on a slow decline. Nothing against Succop, he’s been a reliable veteran, but the point was, why give up on a young promising guy AFTER taking your lumps. Gay was mostly excellent his rookie year outside of 2 games – history tells you a guy with a huge leg, who shows good accuracy, is very likely going to get better.

But the only reason I’m talking about Gay is someone else brought him up, but mainly because this game stinks, need something to talk about.

  200. JimbobBucsFan Says:

We’ll be ready for the Rams. Bring ’em on. Worthy competitors.

    Go Bucs!

  201. JimmyJack Says:

Guzman now you are worried about one corner? COme on bro. Ill sit here and beg for them to try to play man coverage on Mike. That would be great thanks.

Sounds to me like you are shaking in fear about the Rams and all their great players. Get up and dust yourself off man, your creating a spectacle.

Again, if you really wanna be scared worry about our RT. Thats a much bigger matchip concern.

  202. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Bucs vs Rams pt.3

  203. Rod Munch Says:

Still time left for the Cards to get the ball back and take a cheap shot on Donald, then have Donald retaliate by punching someone and getting suspended for next week.

  204. DrunkInYbor Says:

Rams are coming into our house! I could care less who we play if we play the way we played Sunday we can beat everybody. As I was watching it reminded me of the N.B.A. the team knows it’s going to the playoffs so let’s win and keep guys healthy then when it’s playoff time unleash the Kraken

  205. JimmyJack Says:

Rod Munch nope. We went form bad kicker to SuperBowl winner kicker.

You wanna go back and put Gay in them playoff games and see if he mzkes every critical kick you have at it buddy…..not me, Im am forever grateful in the year we made aa playoff run we had the kicker we needed.

  206. Francisco Guzman Says:

It’s crazy how the packers literally own the rams yet we seen to struggle mightily against them . The packers are not the most physical team. I would say they’re more finesse.

  207. JimbobBucsFan Says:

    Good comments about Raheem Morris!

    Go Bucs!

  208. DBS Says:

The Saints beat us twice last year lost in the playoffs. Try having some faith in our team.

  209. Rod Munch Says:

For those that falsely believe Ramsey can lock down Evans, go on youtube and look for, ‘LockUp: Jalen Ramsey vs Mike Evan’s – DB vs WR – 1 on 1’

It’s from the 2020 game, but Evans isn’t have any issues with Ramsey, the only issue is Brady, under pressure, isn’t all that accurate on some of the passes, but Evans is winning all of their 1-on-1 match-ups.

  210. Francisco Guzman Says:

JimmyJack so you think we will the ball with just two players? Gronk and evans? That’s what they did for the most part with some other players but not as much production. We will see. I think they need to hold the rams to at least 24 points to win this game. We shall see. I don’t think the Bucs can get into a shootout with the rams and expect to win like they did in that first game with no defense being played.

  211. Rod Munch Says:

JimmyJack – Super Bowl winning kicker is like saying Gabbert is a Super Bowl winning QB.

  212. JimbobBucsFan Says:

Amen! I have faith in our guys. I have faith in our coaches. I am a real Bucs FANatic! 😎😍🤩😁😲🤤😝🤯🤠

    Go Bucs!

  213. JimmyJack Says:

The real losers in this game are the fans.

The NFL did a dogspit job picking out primetime games. They are about as bright as the mortins that gavd Buc fans white flags to wave yesterday.

I dont care how many Steeler fans there are. No way they got good ratings after halftime for that stink bowl

  214. Tackleblockwin Says:

Rams coming to Tampa this time. It will be a very different game than when we played them first time in their Barbie doll stadium.

  215. Rod Munch Says:

The big thing about that Rams game was the Bucs secondary was horrendously bad. They haven’t been horrendously bad lately. A lot of that is scheme as Bowles, prior to this last week, had been playing a ton of zone. I’d expect that to continue.

  216. JimmyJack Says:

Guzman I just dont get your point. We got Tom Brady coming into a game. We also got Mike Evans whose gonna get open and Tom will throw him the ball. Its just that simple.

And if the defense for the Rams causes fits Tom is gonna look for Gronk over the middle to open up that defense.

  217. JimmyJack Says:

Rod like i said you wanna try to replay 2021 and see if Gay dont miss his kicks and cost us a SB have fun.

Im taking the win and aint looking back.

  218. FredM Says:

AND… the Rams come out of it with no injuries. While we suffered injuries to Wirfs, Wells and Jensen. I swear I think the Saints paid a voodoo queen to place a hex on us. Just sayin.’

That said, at least we got home field advantage and they got a short week.

Gonna be tough, but we can beat these guys. It CAN be done.

    Go Bucs!

  219. JimmyJack Says:

Guzman and oh Gronk had like 20 yards yesterday. Mike had 117 which is very good but far from the whole offense. If you really really really want a #3 you outta look at Lenny.

I also would not mind seeing Goo Bernard get more looks. He os excellent as a pass catcher. At least he was yesterday.

  220. Francisco Guzman Says:

JimmyJack they definitely need Fournette this week. Anyway gonna need a very good game plan. I really feel like this game will fall on the defense. They gotta play well.

  221. JimmyJack Says:

Im looking forward to a great game on Sunday. We have played the Rams tough since Bruce got here(1-2). Last game Winfield dropped a late game pick6 which was a great call by Bowles.

If our OL protects Brady this will come down to the 4thQ

  222. Hondo Says:

This Sunday game way to big for Stafford. He’ll throw at least two pics.

  223. Boo Radley Says:

Holy Moly, look at all the comments..

There’s TWO THINGS the GOAT has done consistently over a quarter century of QB football play both consciously and subconsciously:

    1. Brady has strengthen, conditioned, pampered and protected his RIGHT arm and shoulder like no other QB in history, on the other hand,

    2. Brady has not done the same with his LEFT arm and shoulder. Instead, he has used his left side as a SHIELD to protect the right arm and shoulder. Specifically, to the extent he could, Brady has always tried to make sure that it was always his left side which took the hardest abuse. Be it by turning to absorb an imminent hit or by turning his body so that his left side would be driven into the turf.

Tom Brady is too smart not to have realized this long ago.

  224. Mike Johnson Says:

I would not have released this little tidbit of info on Tom. You can be sure LA/s defense is placing the shoulder soreness in their memory banks. And will probably test it out come Sunday. Its the playoffs and anything goes to win at all cost. Just sayin…

  225. steve gase Says:

I looked back at MVP selections for the last 20 years… you know how many MVPs won the super bowl that year? zero.
let AR win his fourth MVP, and also let him celebrate his own greatness — and fail to bring his game to these playoffs… like the other times.
