Three-Score Rally Dooms Jets

January 2nd, 2022

The best.

This is why the Jets are the Jets.

The Bucs trailed by two touchdowns with under under seven minutes left in the third quarter. Playoff seeding was on the line against the lousy Jets in a stadium where the Bucs have never beaten the Jets.

The Bucs ended the game with a 17-0 run.

A field goal by Ryan Succop was sandwiched between a pair of touchdowns from Tom Brady, one to Cam Brate and the other to the immortal Cyril Grayson with 15 seconds left in the game.

Said Bucs’ foot-rubbing, film guru tight end Rob Gronkowski, the win was, “One of the best games I’ve ever been a part of.”

The Bucs looked zonked. Tired. Out of it. Damn near disinterested for almost three quarters.

Joe was beginning to wonder if the Bucs had slept in the same Hasbrouck Heights hotel in which the notorious leaky, sleepy former Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman overslept in before opening day of the 2013 season.

The Bucs never led today until Grayson’s game-winning touchdown.

This is what championship teams do. Find ways to win when they are short-handed — hough Joe doesn’t know of a championship team dealing with their most dangerous receiver doing jumping jacks in the end zone topless and waving goodbye to the team.

The Bucs are defending Super Bowl champions and showed today they can overcome the adversity of psychotic behavior from a player.

None of this happens without Tom Brady.

Tom was great at least AB will not have to face reporters, he can do whatever he wants now, it is done, unfortunate, he was an ELITE talent.

  2. Derek Says:

Great comeback win. Any win is a win in this league

  3. Tampadeuce21 Says:

    Was

  4. Tampadeuce21 Says:

No gm can risk ab period .
he’ll be boxing on ppv soon.

  5. KnoxvilleBuc Says:

Huge comeback and huge for the moral of this team. We played soft, tackled poorly, over ran gaps, lost the edge, etc. AB deserved his shot and ran with it for a while. He deserves to be cut. It was a disgrace and sad to see him quit. Terrible and selfish teammate. Grayson and Johnsons time to shine. We have a long road ahead of us but we have enough talent to make a run. And Brady is the MVP

  6. SufferingSince76 Says:

At least keep AB on the team until the season is over. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail.

  7. Tampabaybucfan Says:

This has to be a huge confidence builder for Cyril……..that catch coupled with others this week & last week……
He will actually be our #2 receiver now…….with Perriman/Johnson #3

  8. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Only Brady could have pulled off that last drive. A thing of beauty. F%ck AB. What an idiot! No one will pick him up.

  9. SB~LV Says:

Today and the way they have played most of the season won’t last long in the post season.
Maybe AB will inspire them for excellence

  10. Bird Says:

Dont forget johnson dropping the td pass on 1 yard line. We kick field goal

  11. BigPoppaBuc Says:

Can’t lie… Just knowing TB12 is under center keeps me hopeful when we’re down. Losing AB, Evans clearly not 100% and the Jets playing like it’s their Super Bowl but I still had faith Brady can do it. It’s so great.

  12. Mike C Says:

Tampa just knocked off all 3 ny teams and boston too!

  13. Rob In Land O Lakes Says:

When the euphoria of the win wears off, a serious look needs to be taken at the defensive game plan. The pass rush was virtually non-existent and we really used Whitehead to set the edge. They have work to do.

  14. James west Says:

Only thing left for AB is a career in porn, and how did that work out for WWE superstar chyna?

  15. Eddie Marz Says:

Hey what a great touchdown to end the game. Brady for MVP. GOBUCS!

  16. Brandon Says:

Morons are worried that a Super Bowl contending team will pick up AB and his distractions, he’ll learn the playbook, build chemistry with the QB, bypass everyone on the lineup, and come back to haunt us. Newsflash, ding dongs, nobody wanted him in free agency and nobody wants him now.
