Shaq Barrett Says He’s 100 Percent

January 20th, 2022

Still drinking Cam Newton’s Gatorade?

Joe asked and Shaq Barrett didn’t flinch.

The only Pro Bowler on the Bucs defense declared himself 100 percent healthy today.

Shaq saw limited action against the Eagles on Sunday, in part because he was coming back from ACL/MCL sprains and because the Bucs didn’t need him after jumping out to a huge lead. Bucs fans saw Shaq’s very athletic interception and return, but he made no other plays the registered on the stat sheet.

Regardless, Shaq sounded today like a man ready and able to be a game-changer against Los Angeles.

Joe thinks Shaq is a huge key to Sunday, as he was in last year’s late playoff run. Pass rush, pass rush, pass rush is nearly everything for the Rams on Sunday, and it very well may be the same situation for the Bucs.

I bet he wants to out play Von Miller too

  2. Biff Barker Says:

If Shaq plays with a Von Miller sized chip on his shoulder, Buc fans will be giddy this Sunday. Not much enough help from a injured JPP so we need Vea, Shaq and effective blitzing.

  3. Upstate NY BUC Says:

Nice presser from Shaq, he mentioned pressure about 100 times!! Like it……

  4. David Says:

He was definitely a difference maker even though he didn’t register on the stat sheet. He got a lot of pressure, caused some quick throws and caused some happy feet from Hurts.

Interviewing prospective head coaches during the playoffs puts the prospects in a tough situation. You would think that every win improves your chances, but there wouldn’t be a coaching carousel every year if owners of losing teams knew how to hire successful head coaches. Prospects have to play the Interview game. You snooze, you lose.

    1. Stop the run

    2. Put Stafford on his arse, over and over and over again.

We have absolutely got to get to Stafford! We need Shaq to turn up the heat!

They said you are just a backup of Von Miller. You are nothing but a bench warmer. They said you just learned your technique from Von Miller. They said you can’t even hold Von Miller’s jock strap.
I’m rooting for you Shaq. Prove them wrong. I want to see you succeed. I want to see you wreak havoc in the RAMS offense. I want to see you sack Stafford. GO SHAQ! GO BUCS !!

  10. Cobraboy Says:

Whichever team does a better job rushing the QB will win this game.

Once you get to Stafford you have to catch those interceptions he throws right to you .
