  1. Buczilla Says:

If Brady were coming back I feel like he would have let us know after the NFL insiders started spouting off. I was wrong about him coming here though and I hope that I’m wrong again. 😜

  2. Madcon Says:

    I want to believe

  3. SteveK Says:

    “Yes”

Because film don’t lie, Brady is still dealing out there like it’s his prime. It may be a “no” because of life decisions, but based on health, film, skills, talent and drive- he’s still second to none.

I hope we get to see some more Brady next year, but if not that’s ok. Glad we were smart enough to sign him up for two years.

    Go Bucs!

    Go Brady!

    One more time!

  4. Chuckstutz Says:

He loses 15 million if he retires before next Friday the 4th. After the 4th he gets the 15 million. Explains a lot.

  5. Mcruzer Says:

Watch, there will be another TB12 hype video coming soon regarding his return with the soundtrack of Eminem “Im Back” or AC/DC’s “Back in Black”. Perfect opportunity to showcase hus brand. I really think he is coming back.

  6. ClodHopper Says:

I mean at this point, what can you believe other that what Brady himself?

  7. Robertg Says:

Tb is gonna get a signing bonus of around 15ml on the 4th of Feb. If he retires it will be after that.

  8. Alanbucsfan Says:

Arians and Licht both said they haven’t been notified of his retirement decision.
Brady’s father said he hasn’t decided.
So where are these “sources” coming from? Typical MSM…

  9. Alanbucsfan Says:

Aren’t these the same yahoos (pun intended) who bitched about Brady practicing with teammates at a High School during Covid his 1st season here?

  10. Joshua porter Says:

Until brady comes out and says it I don’t care . And man what dumbass these guys look like if he doesn’t retire.

  11. SOEbuc Says:

    Joshua porter

Brady’s agent said no one is coming out to say he’s retiring except Brady. Was Licht, Arians,or the Glazers the ones who ran to Schefter and Florio with the scoop??? Those would be the only three in the front office that would have a clue.

  12. Vincente Fernandez Says:

Many reason why I believe he will go one more year.
    1. He comes back to fulfill his contract which he signed with the approval of his family.
    2. He is still the best QB in the league and he said he would leave when he can no longer play at a championship level. He can still play at this level for maybe 2 or 3 years but one more will be enough
    3. The fact that these me first media personalities completely butchered what may have been his retirement, now he will throw a big middle finger at them all and come back just to prove that he will go out when he says so. Not what “rumors” say. Brady is a structure guy and if you mess with that structure he gets pissed.
    4. He now owns the NFC south. The saints no longer have a a head coach. He would sweep the division and get an easier road to the playoffs next year.

  13. Tye Says:

I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle… I think he genuinely not sure…
If he plans to retire, why not just jump out and announce it before all the media reports speculate AND if he was planning on playing, why not assure the fan base..

If he is miffed about the team, most likely it’s wanting a better DC… Tom and the offense put up point, especially at home, and Bowles couldn’t stop anyone… I feel Tom would already have said he is playing next season IF the Bucs had a dominate defense…. Bowles should be replaced with an upgrade at DC!

  14. stvcl Says:

IF Tom goes ahead and retires…I have nothing but mad respect for him coming to the Buccaneers and showing them how to win it all. Hopefully this will be his lasting legacy at One Buc Place and will be if every player that remains on the team uses his standard on how to prepare and maintain that “laser focus”. Pass that knowledge on to your teammates and lead by example. Best wishes TB 12 on whatever you choose to do. Go Bucs!

  15. AbucAway Says:

I don’t think so. As the saying goes: ” where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
I think Tom will retire as a patriot and will get all the legalities and conversations handled prior to making his announcement

  16. ClodHopper Says:

I change my vote from not sure to no. I woke up with some optimism but today was a bucket of cold water.

  17. LakelandSteve Says:

The $15 million was part of his signing bonus. If he retires the Bucs can get part of that bonus back regardless if he retires before or after the date he is scheduled to receive the $15 million. Feb. 4 just happens to be the date the money is given to him. It is not a drop dead date. If he retires two weeks after the 4’th the Bucs are still entitled to get part of the bonus back. How much I don’t know.
