Playoff Lenny

Updated: 2:12 p.m. — If we are just going by intel from the words of Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians, things are pointing up for Playoff Lenny for Sunday’s game with the Rams.

Arians said Playoff Lenny did not have a setback like he had last week with his injured hamstring. “He looks fine. He looks good,” Arians said.

So cross your fingers. Having Playoff Lenny would be a huge addition in a great time of need.

If lenny can go. I hope we dont throw every play call at him. Vaughn and gio should keep eating.

  2. adam from ny Says:

if lenny doesn’t play, at least fournette will 🙂

i still say we are going to need one player to have a unexpectedly dynamic game…

    like a brate, or a gio, or a scotty…

or like a 3 sack, 1 ff game from shaq…

someone’s gotta go ape out there besides the expected contributors

PLEASE Lenny! He’s the perfect every down back for Brady especially when needing to get the ball out quick. I love watching him carry the load, he always goes to dish punish, ent and gains extra yards for it. Plus he can explode to the house, as we’ve seen when the Bucs run their beautiful version of the power sweep.

    PLEASE!

I dont think a lot of people have realized the amount of targets/catches Lenny had this year. If he comes in able to play all 3 downs somehow, someway.. Look out Rams.

“Here comes the blitz on brady! Brady lobs it over the defender and it’s CAUGHT BY FOURNETTE! DOWN TO THE RAMS ONE YARD LINE! What a play!
Lining up now it looks like Vita Vea is running out there to lend a hand. Brady turns to his left, hands the ball to #50! VEA LOWERS HIS SHOULDER AAAAAND TOUCHDOWN TAMPA BAY!

(BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!)

    😁

  6. Mike Johnson Says:

Show’em why they call you Playoff Lenny..Lenny.

  7. Go Bucs! Says:

    Divisional Lenny!

  8. Biff Barker Says:

Great news about Fournette. Does this mean less Gio?

  9. Smashsquatch Says:

Hammys are tricky. They can feel great all week and the second you open up the throttle body pre-game you feel it. True game time decision. I like Sneak this week, he’s gaining confidence and ready to shine.

  10. Jmarkbuc Says:

Put Lenny and sneak in the backfield at the same time. Freak their Defense out.

  11. SOEbuc Says:

Complete all around RB room. Playoff Lenny will no doubt get his, but don’t think Ke’ and Gio won’t be involved. I would like to see Bell in some third down situations as well with these pass catching RBs against Raheems two deep zone.

    Split back comin!

  13. Anonymous Says:

    What happened to Medicated Pete?

  14. Outsider Says:

I’m worried he’ll re injure it again. He had a bad hamstring injury in 2018 and didn’t look the same when he returned. I hope he’ll ball out though.

ray jay needs to be loud on Sunday!!!!

  16. Corndog Says:

RAY JAY HAS TO BE LOUD ,
    TAMPA BAY!! ONE MORE TIME
    TAMPA BAY!

  17. David Says:

    Excellent news

  18. Swampbuc Says:

I do have the warms for Lenny.

  19. Swampbuc Says:

Lenny in the backfield and Gio in the slot. Gronky, Mikey and (pickem between TJ, Scotty, John Brown) as the other. Please leave Darden the Dorkus on the bench.

  20. Rod Munch Says:

They said he looked fine last week as well. Hopefully he’s good to go, they’re going to need him catching passes out of the backfield if Brady is under pressure all day. That and Leftwich needs to remember what a screen pass is. The dummy Leftwich called non-stop screens in that Atlanta game, when there was no pressure at all, then other teams get pressure and Leftwich calls one screen all game, it’s like he doesn’t understand what you use the screen pass for.

  21. Ash Says:

It’s not that huge to have him back would like him back but more worried about the recievers the bucs will have and what the oline is going to look like we will not be running alot on the rams despite what people have said that front dline for the rams is crazy good

  22. Dyno-White ! # 45 Says:

Bert Emanuel 2.0. Bigger reasons why we lost, but the momentum of the targeting would’ve made been dramatic.

They make a call, then discuss how to reverse the call as then make up a never before used call. I guess that means late hits on unsuccessful 4 th downs are ok? How about a late hit on a sacked quarterback or pushing a running back after going out of bounds? ? This list can be long. Why create new rules, and use it on a dirty hit , when the NFL makes rules to make the game safer. Heck, had the whistle even been blown yet?

Bert Emanuel 2.0. The NFL will change this rule they created for the playoffs. Granted the Rams were more physical today ( which is why they won) but at the game I could see them make the Saints look like choir boys during and after plays. We got the benefit of the Packer’s game last year. Now we know how they felt.
