Ummmm. OK. I guess. Don’t let Licht draft!

  2. Tye Says:

The numerous injuries just caught up with the Bucs BUT MAN they still came back and almost won it..
Still grateful for a winning Bucs season and playoff run…

  3. Proud Bucs Fan Says:

    Great, more bad news.

Sloppy play and top 5 in penalties is now confirmed as well.

  4. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Bruce didn’t lose this game…..if anything…..his attitude gave us a chance………this game was lost on Special Teams….& our Oline…..

  5. BuccoBDub Says:

Only care is Brady comes back.

  6. LVMYBUCS Says:

    WHY ?????????????

  7. August 1976 Buc Says:

Some good news on a bad day.

    GO BUCS!!!!

  8. cmurda Says:

Bruce is a solid coach. He made a poor choice in his buddy as D coordinator but Bruce is a good coach. What everyone cares about is Brady and after that failure by the defense and mostly Bowles it wouldn’t be hard to believe if he does retire.

  9. Lesko_Brandon Says:

The only thing that we want to hear is, if TB12 will come back. We dont care about the coaches leaving or coming back.

  10. BucsFan81 Says:

Still sucks. This going to hurt for awhile. So close to having the NFC title game in Tampa. Damn don’t want the season to end.

  11. PleaseHireBowles Says:

So hope Bowles gets hired elsewhere. He literally blew the game calling a slot cb blitz in that situation. Even a basic fan knows that’s a terrible decision – especially against Stafford

  12. LVMYBUCS Says:

Head coach dude u cant even walk with ur old as go retire and take that retard Leftwitch with u.

  13. Boltsfan17 Says:

Super. Now we’re stuck with his two coordinators next year.

  14. T REX Says:

without brady…arians is weekend at bernies

  15. allbuccedup Says:

If Brady comes back thats ok if Brady retires he will run this team into the ground.

  16. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Tye,

I agree with you. We won a ton and ended up with a lot of injuries that did make a difference.
I don’t mind if Leftwich and Bowles leave. Hopefully TB comes back for 1 more season so we can plan for the future.
I was a big fan of Bowles but he lost my support earlier this year and today only cemented my feelings.

At any rate, we won 14 games and almost made it to the NFC Championship game.

    That’s something at least.

  17. sauron's eye Says:

We need a good free agent CB, not a rookie, for next season. Also if we had either Godwin or Wifs in that game we would have won. Injuries killed us this year.

  18. LVMYBUCS Says:

Im dyeing to see how they fix this secondary

  19. Oneilbuc Says:

Good job Brady for trying to come back but defense wins championships !!

  20. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

    Is he gonna fire Bowles?

  21. gp Says:

That confirms that Tommie is pissed off and will be back!!!

  22. Zzbuc Says:

Of BA stays I am optimistic TB 12 stays…..
    Just makes sense…….
No doubt Bowles scew this one, but he is de best defensive coordinatir out there. Hope he stays!!!

  23. Bqen green Says:

Ben will believe it when he sees it. If it is the case, say goodbye to TB12, and your only hope. Brady will not play for him again. Ben has that on great authority, unlike the ass kissing, and blind person who runs this site. If you think BA and his staff did a good coaching job this year, than you either need a lobotomy, or some serious antipsychotics. Almost everything they’ve accomplished has been due to one man, and certainly not any of these “coaches”

  24. gp Says:

Ariens, Bowles, Leftwich AND Tommie will be back!

  25. August 1976 Buc Says:

“What everyone cares about is Brady and after that failure by the defense and mostly Bowles”

Where was the offense for 3Qtrs?

It should never have come down to this defense getting EXPOSED when the Offense does not score 30+

So please include Brady and the terrible offense for 3Qtrs’

Yes Brady gave them a chance to win, BUT… for most of the time, it was painful to watch by the offense.

Since when has this beat up defense done well this year, they have had moments, but it has been offense that this team lives off of.

    Reality Check

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  26. Buc Neckid Says:

    Transition year to Bowles

  27. DavidBigBucFan99 Says:

Let me see Bowles orchestrated one of our best playoff defenses and this year had to play with scrubs and injuries yet helped us get to 14-5. His defense gave up 9 points to the Aints and offense couldn’t score jack with Tom Brady. People look past the poor play of the players with their penalties, missed tackling, missed assignments and blown coverages. He was nothing close to Mike or Lovie Smith but clowns call the man incompetent. When your front 4 are not getting pressure yet qbs are still completing passes what’s he supposed to do? Answer me that!

  28. MoHawg Says:

He’s ok, Bucs now done for awhile, it comes in cycles

  29. Lesko_Brandon Says:

Maybe, BA Should offer to mow Brady’s lawn as part of the deal to make TB12 comeback.

  30. Rob F Says:

“Ummmm. OK. I guess. Don’t let Licht draft!”

Why, you don’t want guys like Wirfs, Godwin, Vea, Winfield, etc… ?

  31. Tye Says:

It’s SAD some of you seem to have forgotten the atrocities we recently survived at HC:

    Raheem Morris
    Lovie Smith
    Schiano
    Koetter

The odds are likely higher the Bucs hire Sorry HC like these guys than one who wins like Arians…

STOP with the lefty or Bowels for HC… Bowels showed he is no slam dunk and LEFTy would be a shot in the dark!

  32. captivajim Says:

UNfortunately , I don’t see BA , BL , or Bowles going anywhere –we are stuck with them…..

Plus we in for a rebuild & I just don’t see Brady staying for that

  33. Bqen green Says:

Hey August, the offense, meaning the quarterback, was under withering pressure. He gets rid of the ball as fast as he ever has. The problem was an unimaginative game plan. Brady can’t do everything, contrary to popular belief. The reason he won six rings in NE was because of his abilities, and superior coaching. You expect this guy to be GM, head coach, offensive coordinator, and QB. It’s just not possible. Injury bug got to them, no doubt, but it’s the coaches job to mitigate that. They failed horribly. The Rams knew exactly what the bucs would do on defense. Brady can’t be d coordinator too!!! This loss is directly on the coaches. Brady had enough, he just couldn’t overcome the stupidity of Mr. Bowles

    Brady staying BECAUSE of that!
    He Knows what he likes!

  35. gp Says:

    ********************************************************
He lost this game because of the refs!
    AND HE’S PISSED!!!!!!!!

  36. gp Says:

    DAMN STRAIGHT he’ll be back!!!

  37. Jmarkbuc Says:

Brian Flores for DC if he would take the job.. might give our D some balls again.

  38. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Wirfs is one helluva tackle.

Rams we’re in Toms lap most of the day.. and with not much to throw to.

  39. Listnfrmafar Says:

JMark, August, Anonymous, Buc1987 and the rest of you BA fans, how’d you like that preparation, discipline, special teams, freaking Darden, Pinon & Succup were playing for them. The run was working with Brate lead blocking, why abandon that? 1 run on second down, I am sick to my stomach they fought so hard to come back and to leave Winfield on an island against the best receiver in the league is dumbfounding. Good luck Bucs fans all the hits Brady took over the years and it took a 69yr old washed up coach to retire him. Oneilbucyall, in this case a bad DC loses games.

  40. Jmarkbuc Says:

Dude you don’t care about the Bucs so spare me..

    Your BS isn’t worth addressing.

  41. Listnfrmafar Says:

JMark, I’ll check in with you next season before playoffs because chances are with this Coach Bucs won’t be in them. What I really wish for you is that all 3 come back. I guess those interviews weren’t really a distraction after all, they looked well prepared to me.

  42. Brady follower Says:

Live in Fl now, previously New England.
I wrote last year coaching staff was awful and GM and owners were not involved enough. Patriot owner
,Bob Kraft, looked out for his money and team and stepped in when needed. The stars were all aligned last year.
Not this year. Brady will be gone. You would be gone too. Winston took a lot of heat for the failure of the coaches and management.
The defensive backfield has been bad for years and no one corrected it. Bruce coming back is a bad joke but free money.
Brady tried to win it. He coaches the offense but can not coach the defense too.
The loss was heartbreaking but unfortunately not surprising as he could not play and coach the whole team.
    He tried though.
Good luck to Tom in his next endeavour.
    He is definitely the GOAT

  43. unbelievable Says:

    Cool.

We can expect more lazy slow starts and terrible special teams next year too!

  44. Lesko_Brandon Says:

I just wonder, BA and BL knows that the RAMS will put out an all out pressure to Brady and why did they not make any game plans around it? They should have use that pressure and make it as a disadvantage against the Rams. Could it be because BL’s head is not on the game but on his HC interview ? Just llike how the Rams used our all out blitz to their advantage.

  45. August 1976 Buc Says:

List…. you can piss and moan if you like.
BUT… you have to live your daily with your sourpuss attitude.
Try to have a decent day in a frigid North East.

    GO BUCS!!!!

  46. kyle Says:

if 12 retires, lets figure a way to get russell wilson..

  47. David Says:

Time for Licht and company to get to work. Godwin needs a long-term deal. They need to target a wide receiver in free agency and in the draft. They need to resign Jensen and Carlson Davis if I’m not mistaken. They should be in pretty good shape with the salary cap going up.
Free agency in the draft should also target a DB and DL. They need to find another TE. Brate has run his course and OJ is gone and worthless anyway.
Of course the big thing is… They need Brady and Gronk back for one more

  48. Ron Says:

    **** TB NOT COMING BACK.

I dont think he is too fond of BA
….last time there was this type of speculation about playing for a team, he left. TB had Bilichiek…he sees Bruce has undisciplined players and he himself is undisciplined. Hitting players and telling AB he’s done….when you don’t hv the power to fire anyone.

Bruce us not a good coach…HE THROWS HIS PLAYERS UNDER THE BUS in front of the media..including Tom. Who does that???

He and Leftwich are not good…they are just spectators. ( why was Scotty Miller) who won you games last year not in more games.. evidence Leftwich has no clue!

Bowels is good but he out thought himself too much……… IF YOUR FRONT 4 HAVING TROUBLE GETTING TO THE QB….WHY IN THE HELL DO YOU NOT BLITZ ON 3RD AND 20 early on in the game!!!

Fire BA…let Leftwich walk…bring in Josh McDaniels as HC…Brady would come back

  49. captivajim Says:

Let BA , BL & Bowles all deserve one another.. Brady has more football IQ than all of them put together. Brady will move on from Bucs.. whether he retires is a different question..the 49ers may realize they made a mistake in march of 2020 ???

Jimmy GQ is a FA in March–never kno what happens yet in NFC playoffs,Rams looked pretty good here..

  50. August 1976 Buc Says:

Ron says…..”Fire BA…let Leftwich walk…bring in Josh McDaniels as HC…Brady would come back”

Yeah right, the last time McDaniels was head Coach he got ran out of Denver as a loser. And then he is supposed to Coach the Colts, but this little thing happened.

“Indianapolis Colts fans watched that scenario play out Tuesday night, when Patricia’s colleague in New England, Josh McDaniels, pulled out of an identical all-but-done deal”.

You mean this Josh McDaniels right Ron……Sorry no way.

Pretty low bar, to be suggesting a so far proven loser as a head coach, to replace a proven winner. BA as a HC has won a Super Bowl, and is on track for 100 wins in 10 years.

Wether the Bucs got their azz beat or not, it does not change the facts, BA proven winner.

Oh and BTW how bad did Josh McDaniels and Billy B do the last week against Buffalo?
They coached and got a historically bad beatdown put on them.

    GO BUCS!!!!

  51. captivajim Says:

Bowles should offer his resignation………EVEN Tony Dungy-his longtime proponent / promoter said it was a “bonehead” play call to blitz Stafford with 25 seconds left in a tie game.

Bowles will NEVER earn another ring as DC or HC with any NFL team…….

  52. August 1976 Buc Says:

So Bowles becomes the DC in 2019, turns around a historically bad defense he inherited.
Does anyone remember the WEEKLY BEATDOWNS the defense took under Coach my Scheme Lovie and then Mike Smith??????
Is this not the same Todd Bowles who in less than 1 season had the defense competitive.
I guess he is judged on the last game, because if you take the whole of his work, then the comments are way off about him, in spite of the anger being thrown at him a few hours after the Bucs got their azz beat.

He has been using smoke and mirrors to try and hold this physically beat up defense up, and try to be competitive.

Todd gambles and gets burned on the pass to Kupp with less then a minute to go, it happens as we can see. Yes it is painful to see.
But to just rag on him like he is some kind of idiot is way off , the hard feelings just are not based on the sum of the whole of what T Bowles has done with the Bucs.

Any fan that has followed the team for the last 10 years, knows about the weekly train-wreck the defense was before Todd Bowles took it over. That is just the facts, not comments from being pissed off about the Bucs getting their azz beat.

    GO BUCS!!!!!!!!!

  53. August 1976 Buc Says:

BTW at least the Bucs stopped the Rams on some drives, the last game for the Pats, the great Defensive Coach Billy B, only stopped the Bills when they kneeled down at the end of the game to run out the clock. 7 straight possessions by the Bills ended in TD’s. Historically bad defense. So Bill should resign too right.
No Bill had a bad night, plain and simple. Oh and at least T Bowles defense gave the offense a chance to be competitive in the second half.

    Reality check

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

  54. Listnfrmafar Says:

August, Bucs brought back ALL 22 players, the Pat’s are a completely different team with a ROOKIE QB and they still made the playoffs. Oh and NFC South is arguably one of the weakest divisions in the league. It’s frigging hard to lose a game with 28 seconds left. Bowles just perfected it. I don’t care if all phases sucked all game, with 28 seconds left it was 0-0 and Rams D was spent. My days are fine, let’s touch base next year when Brady, Gronk, Suh are gone and the Bucs go 6-11.
