Several Bucs Players Sit Out Practice

December 15th, 2021

Bad wheel.

Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians announced it is likely the Bucs will go with walk-through practices on Wednesdays the rest of the season, like the team did last week and the team did today.

Still, several players were held out this morning.

Cornerback Jamel Dean remains l hounded by what Arians deemed today as “illness,” but he also said earlier this week it was “wooziness.”

Fournette’s ankle injury did not sound serious. Arians said Fournette showed up to One Buc Palace with a “sore ankle so we had to put him on the report.”

Arians did not elaborate on the severity of Richard Sherman’s Achilles injury or Antoine Winfield’s foot injury — both new issues.

The safety position potentially is all of a sudden looking gravely thin as Mike Edwards has one more game to serve his three-game suspension for flashing a fake-V-card and now with Winfield and Sherman (who has been cross-training as a safety) injured.

Please don’t tell me it’s going to be Cockrell and Double A (beep beep….M-C-O) Andrew Adams as our 2 starting Safeties this week versus the Saints 🙏👏🤞

  2. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Sherman injured?

    Did he play 10 plays?

  3. BigPoppaBuc Says:

Wow… The defensive injuries are just baffling and yet we’re 10-3 on the cusp of a division title. Gotta believe the Saints saw what Josh Allen did to us and are going to send Taysom Hill running right at our secondary. We need White and LVD to show up big time on Sunday.

  4. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

The Saints always play us tough, and they still have a slim shot at the playoffs, especially if they beat us.
I expect a tough physical game, with us winning.

  5. Marine Buc Says:

Good. Give them rest. We have New Orleans, Carolina twice and the NY Jets left on the schedule. We should win every single one of those games.

It would be a similar set up as last year playing Atlanta twice and the Detroit Lions right before the playoffs.

  6. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Taysom Hill can run all he likes….he’s no Josh Allen…..and what makes Allen so dangerous is his ability to pass…..Hiss doesn’t measure up there either…..stop Kamara & Hill running & you stop the Saints.

  7. SOEbuc Says:

Gmafb. CB first/second round. Dean softer than marshmallow man and not very good in the first place.

  8. Dean Giusti Says:

And now we move onto our nemesis the slimy Saints. No excuses this Sunday. You need to bury this team. Focus for 4 quarters. This Saints team has embarrassed us too many times. Collectively we as fans are tired of it. So go out there and bury those guys for us! No let ups until you see this…00:00.

  9. captivajim Says:

They will play Semain if he’s available–better passer than Hill against our secondary..Kamara usually has big games against us–hopefully we contain him..

will be hi scoring game –this time we have GRONK….

  10. richbucsfan Says:

    Where was Pinion?

  11. Stone crab sam Says:

The last few regular season games, the saints have owned the bucs. Until that changes, I see no reason why the Bucs are prohibitive favorites. Take the points, and take the enemy😬
    Especially with an injured fournette.

  12. SufferingSince76 Says:

In the last game, the Bucs let Semien look like an all star, not the third stringer he is. That’s what concerns me. See Taysom run. See Taysom throw. 😫

  13. D-Rome Says:

Cornerback Jamel Dean remains l hounded by what Arians deemed today as “illness,” but he also said earlier this week it was “wooziness.”

Sounds like an adverse reaction to a booster.

  14. STL-BucsFan Says:

My wife tells me hate is too strong of a word to use when I say I HATE the Saints, I told her when a nastier more violent word is made up for it I’ll switch to that word. I hate the Saint with a fiery passion that consumes my soul!!!! In the words of Loenidas from 300, “give them nothing, but take from them everything”!!! LETS F’N GO BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. Lesko_Brandon Says:

This is another game where the Saints are the wounded dog trying to surive. They will definitely give everything they got, they will be very physical and put a lot of pressure on Brady. I hope the Bucs learned their lesson on their first matchup and come up with a win this time.

  16. Mike Johnson Says:

Saints are never slouches. They play us tough no matter their record. As always, Bucs gotta ball out or fall into a trap game.

  17. brooks Says:

Just hope covid doesn’t hit bucs like other teams…

  18. daniel Da Man Says:

Our D is on deep trouble with injuries. However trouble is their middle name. Crush them BUCCANEERS.

  19. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Mike, how are the Saints a trap game when they beat the hell out of us every regular season game?

  20. Mr.B Says:

Trap game huh ! This a a pissed off revenge game which can not only clinch the division but knock out the aunts from any serious playoff possibilities!

  21. Ericb Says:

We need this win #1 seed!! Hit them hard play hard LFGO

  22. Ericb Says:

Take away Kamara..stop the run..they are weak at defending the pasd exploit it…mix it up also with lenny
