“He Just Got Foggy”

December 12th, 2021

Condition unknown.

Something strange is going on with Jamel Dean and Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians doesn’t know what it is.

Dean, a Bucs starting corner, left the game with what the Bucs’ media relations department announced was a “illness.” Nothing more specific was released.

When specifically asked about Dean after the game, Arians said he didn’t know. When asked again mentioning that the media relations department labeled Dean’s absence as “illness,” Arians then said that Dean “got foggy.”

Arians left it at that.

Perhaps more will be revealed tomorrow. Dean was in the concussion protocol this past week but clearly passed all the tests to be able to play today.

Dean is very valuable, as are Carlton Davis and Sean Murphy-Bunting. Once again the defense collapsed without a starting corner. Arians said that without Dean, the Bucs had to constantly substitute guys in and out, or as Arians said, “mix and match” depending on the circumstance.

Apparently, Davis, Dean and SMB can perform all the various tasks Bowles demands, but not all the corners can.

We need all three on the field to be effective add even then we are suspect….

Wether you are cleared in 7-10 days your brain isn’t actually healed yet. One pop and you can be worse than the first time. Second injurys on an unhealed traumatic brain injury can lead to serious problems.

  6. firethecannons Says:

he needs to rest, give him next game off

I gave J Licht a complement earlier for Breshad Perriman p/u but now I remember the drafting of kyle trask over another starting corner unforgiveable!

  7. Oxycodoms Says:

    What about gio?

  8. ModHairKen Says:

What about Jaelon Darden? If he’s not sick, then he should be cut for that performance today. Is this the best returner they have???

  9. JimmyJack Says:

Dean has been a good player for us, played good today. Feels like he is barely hanging on health wise……We really could use some other guys to start stepping up in Deabs absense……Sherman comes to mind and so does Edwards when he comes back.

  10. Bird Says:

Off topic but michael claytion is que terrible on radio.

  11. Bird Says:

They updated his situation. Apparently he pushed to hard to get out a fart and strained a glut. And in process sh!t his pants so rough going

  12. Francisco Guzman Says:

This team will need to keep winning. The packers don’t lose. Ughhh

  13. JimmyJack Says:

Look out boys!! Bears are giving the Packers all they can handle.

We might wake up tomorrow as the number 2 seed if this game goes our way.

  14. gotbbucs Says:

Not having Mike Edwards hurts. I thought Adams played well. Cockrell is a step slow on almost every play.

Asking Arians medical questions is like asking a bum for investment advice.

  15. Rod Munch Says:

JimmyJack – While I’d love to see the Packers lose at home and see those stupid lardasses crying, you’re talking about the Bears.

    ———-

COCKwell is awful. In fairness, he’s a 7th string corner, but man is he terrible. That play where the WR needs 8 yards to get the first down, and COCKwell gives him 9, it’s just typical COCKwell.

  17. Merlin Says:

Bird has some big stones for a guy posting about a game instead of playing in it. I’m sure he’s tougher than Dean…

  18. Francisco Guzman Says:

Bears are just pathetic. Rodgers literally owns them. Anyway if this team has to head out to green bay in the playoffs they’re gonna have to execute for 60 minutes.

  19. Francisco Guzman Says:

JimmyJack not happening. Bears are awful.

  20. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Munch the da bears are who we thought they where. Rodgers record against them is absurd.

  21. Rod Munch Says:

Yeah, it would be hilarious if the Packers lost this game… but the Bears are pathetic. Yes, it’s a division game and you never know for sure what will happen since bad teams beat good teams all the time in division games, but it’s the Bears, they’re born losers.

  22. Austin Says:

This man needs to protect his brain, he needs time off

  23. Rod Munch Says:

The Packers still play the Ravens and Browns… but like all year, the stupid Packers luck out in terms of injuries and will play the Ravens, likely without Lamar – and the Browns are beat up as well.

Oh well, even if the Packers and Cardinals did both lose, and the Bucs were the #1 seed, we all know what would then happen come next week with the Saints.

  24. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Munch we need to root for the rams tomorrow. That packers schedule looks so easy. They have caught a lot of breaks now wiht the injury to LJ.

  25. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Much if this team has to play the packers on the road they’re gonna need to play 60 minutes. Defensively they’re gonna have to step up their game.

  26. Francisco Guzman Says:

Rod Munch saints on prime time. If they can’t win that game by double digits i don’t know what to tell you. It’s a joke how much they struggle against an inept saints team.

  27. Tampabaybuscfan Says:

We cleaned the penalties up in that game……only 4…..

  28. Joe Says:

    What about gio?

    Hip.

  29. JimmyJack Says:

This guy Justin Fields is just a terrible thrower.

And I heard at halftime Josh Allen is in a walking boot……Was really a great effort from him today but your gonna have a hard time winning titles with an offense that uses the QB as a RB…….We pounded on Allen with big hits all day……..These RB/QB hybrids always look great in Septemeber and run into a wall before January comes.

    ————-

The Bucs are 0-4 in the regular season vs the Saints in years they win the SB.

Payton has Arians number, and that’s going to be a tough game. They just beat us a few weeks ago, so I’m not sure why anyone would think the Bucs would be double digit favorites. The Bucs will hopefully win, and I do have them winning a close game, but if everything would have feel perfectly for the Bucs, then they’d blow it, it’s just the way things are.

Still, I’m with you, I hope the Rams can win, and then the Browns or Ravens or even Vikings can take out the Packers. To make everyone come through Tampa would be huge.

  31. Bird Says:

    Merlin.

Actually the coaches have called him out too and how he needs to do better job of playing thru injuries

But i am not tougher then you. That for sure

And yes this is a site where you can post your opinion on a player or team
    Sorry you are 😢

  32. Rod Munch Says:

Then if the stupid Bears weren’t inept enough on their own, the refs are now screwing them.

God do I hate the officials. Some games are flat out fixed by the NFL, this is one of them.

  33. cmurda Says:

Nobody actually believed the Bears would even be interesting in this game right. The Pack have to have the softest schedule known to man and the hardest game on their schedule is now the Browns followed by the Lamarless Ravens. It’s a fat chance that we can expect a GB loss. They seem to have the tiebreaker on us I guess. In other news, Matt Nagy clearly doesn’t even care anymore. Down 11 and on 4th and inches, you punt? Umm, Ok.

  34. Francisco Guzman Says:

Cmurda we better root for the rams tomorrow. Even if it means green bay moving into the first seed. We probably don’t have the tiebreaker over the Cardinals but if we go on the road i much rather face them.

  35. cmurda Says:

Yeah. Definitely want Rams over Cards. One of them will not win the division but the Rams have a worse record than us right now. If we are to get the 1 seed, it will require us winning out. I think it’s the Conference record that GB has on us which stinks. Rams beat AZ and have to hope Browns beat Pak and we win out. Most importantly, we just about punched our ticket to get in the playoffs and basically have the division won.

  36. Jerry Says:

We are probably going to max out with the 3rd seed if the Cards win Mon night. That team just doesn’t lose. And I don’t see GB losing another game either. That Washington lost cost us the first round bye.

  37. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

The shot is starting to effect him like it is all the European soccer players and college athletes!!

  38. bucschamps Says:

greenbay is a very good regular season team hehe.

    rodgers playing hurt

  39. Bucsfanman Says:

More injury news on Dean! Geez man!

His absence in the game was obvious with how Buffalo was able to move the ball. Behind him isn’t much. Get well kid.

  40. Bush's Coke Spoon Says:

I figured he got his bell rung when he went to the wrong sideline.

  41. Dean Giusti Says:

This defense can not play 4 quarters of football. Between these ridiculous reoccurring injuries and missed tackles the Bucs did their best to lose another game that was in the bag.

  42. Listnfrmafar Says:

    Aren’t all Bucs DB’s in a fog?

  43. BT-Tampa Says:

I hope Dean does not have adverse effects from the jab. How did Demarius Thomas die exactly? “Medical issue” is too vague.

  44. Jmarkbuc Says:

    BT Tampa

Save your conspiracy theories. That crap is tired.

  45. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

Jmaekbuc … Today’s “conspiracy theories” are tomorrow’s facts…. You did read what the FDA released correct? They wanted to close it for 55 years and not let anyone know the results for 55 years but a judge ruled that they must release the results well those results ended up showing thousands died in one month (February) from these shot and thousands more were maimed… they are even warning now of myocarditis in Japan if you take the shot it’s part of the warning!! soccer players in Europe are just falling over people in front of their Congress and other countries and things like that are just falling over dead… I know personally one person who was 32 years old got the shot and three weeks later died of a heart attack it’s not a conspiracy theory idiot you have just not been paying attention and believe what they are feeding you!! Now go baaaaaa 🐑

  46. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

BT Tampa.. you are absolutely correct remember a time when someone like demaryius Thomas died they told you exactly how and why… kind of strange that they’re so vague about it isn’t it!! 🤔💉…. Anyone who has truly looked into it and looked into the numbers even just looking at the vaers (which only about 10% is actually reported) reporting system can see this is killing thousands of people and maiming even more

  47. Bucsfanman Says:

^^^Sorry dude but DT had been in a car wreck over a year ago and was suffering from seizures. So much so that they hired a driver for him. If you read the story, they believe that he had a seizure and died.
Have a little respect and stop trying to tie everything to a vax.

    RIP Demaryius.

    .

This is one of the preexisting conditions that should stop you from taking a shot. We don’t know if he had it, but do know that it can cause seizures, and we also know that nobody provides the pre-requisite full disclosure before administering it.
