Bucs Fans Are Steaming With Confidence

December 19th, 2021

So what if the Bucs have been hammered by the Saints three times in the regular season during the Tom Brady era.

Bucs fans have spoken!

Joe’s Sunday morning flash poll below reveals that most Tampa Bay fans believe the Bucs will win by two scores or more tonight and extend their home winning streak (including the Super Bowl) to 10 consecutive games.

Yes, Joe has expressed a little fear of the Saints. Heck, Joe thought the Bucs, then a 6-2 team, would have taken out the Saints last year in Tampa in late November. Instead, the Bucs were embarrassed 38-3.

It’s cool to see such a hearty percentage of Bucs fans with their chests puffed out for tonight’s game ending with the Bucs’ first NFC South crown in 14 years. That’s fandom and well deserved confidence after shedding the horrors of The Lost Decade.

After the Bucs victor, Joe’s going to run a poll tomorrow asking if fans think the Bucs are going to win back-to-back Super Bowls. That should be a fun one.

Why not us?!?

    Indeed Joe, why not us
    Go Bucs

A convincing win would go a long way in settling down the scaredy cats, hand wringers and worried little “B’s” like me.

The superstitious Nancy in me cringes when I see so many Bucs fans this confident. This bodes poorly for tonight’s game. I’m expecting another penalty and turnover plagued game with Trevor’s Semen leading the Saints to a dink and dunk win in the second half, just like this year’s game one.

The Bills gave everyone the blueprint on how to beat the Bucs.

(Praying I am very wrong and looking forward to taking blunt objects to the forehead in punishment for my lack of faith.)

I am not a believer of the end of the regular season Saint’s hex until it happens.

  5. Ash Says:

The bills didnt give a blueprint there was lack of execution and some questionable play calling that’s just on the bucs not to mention dean going down and Todd going back to zone coverage after dean went out.

I would make a case that the Saints swept us last year and they were the better team at that time………..The Bucs progressed from there and we were the better team when we spanked them in the playoffs and ended Drew Bress’s carreer on a losing note.

I expect a win today. 1-1 season record vs Saints and we are clearly the better team as our record clearly indicates.

Swampbuc of course you are along with Rod munch and oneilbucs.

  8. Jmarkbuc Says:

Well let’s hope the stadium is more than 65/35 Buc fans then…

SB champs, GOAT at QB, division on the line, we ought to have Home field advantage, just once.

    Go Bucs!

  9. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

It will be mostly Bucs fans at the Stadium tonight. New Orleans is not Buffalo where people are escaping snow and cold weather.
Plus, there are not that many people from New Orleans who have moved here. Many of the Bills Fans were actually from right here in the Tampa Bay area. Lost Souls who have lived down here for 10 years plus, yet still show up at the Stadium to root against the Bucs whenever we play their Bills.
