Playoff Lenny!

November 28th, 2021

Winning!

All hail Playoff Lenny!

That’s all that needs to be said. Playoff Lenny returned today. This was like a playoff game. The Bucs were on the road against one of the hottest teams in the NFL. And it didn’t look good at times.

And when the Bucs needed him the most, Playoff Lenny returned and punched the Colts in the mouth with one of the ballsiest runs Joe can remember from a Bucs running back.

Joe almost thought it was January in Green Bay.

Playoff Lenny put the ball into the end zone four times including a touchdown catch. And when the Bucs were trying to salt the game away, Playoff Lenny had the best run of the year. He took the ball left and barreled through would-be tacklers for a 28-yard touchdown.

Friggin’ WOW!!!

After the game on the Buccaneers Radio Network, Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians said all the Bucs wanted to do was march down and kick a game-winning field goal.

Playoff Lenny screwed up his plans! 🙂

Arians also noted in his postgame remarks that Ronald Jones running well allowed Playoff Lenny to be fresh for that final game-winning drive.

The Bucs are now 12-0 when Playoff Lenny has 12 or more carries.

And 1-0 when he scores four touchdowns. 🙂

Playoff Lenny the “Offensive Player of the Week?” He ought to be.

Well I’m glad he saved this game

Cause Captain Checkdown Mr Brady and Leftwich totally forget that we had other players on offense besides Mike Evans and Chris Godwin

…………terrible QB Play and terrible play calling by the offensive coordinator

  2. SB Says:

I am in first place in my big $ FF league and the guy in second place has LF who got him 45.70 points.
Oh well it is almost playoff times so it doesn’t really matter.
Lenny was Awesome today. Glad for him!!!
    GO BUCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. SB Says:

Hey BucsAnthem……….We won on the road and scored 38 points!
    Do you even lift bro?

  4. TheBucsAnthem Says:

Why didn’t Leftwich get Evans and Godwin involved more???

Why was Brady checking it down on almost every play?????

Thank Goodness for this defense too………holding on for dear life while the CBs were absolutely awful!!!!!!!

  5. DBS Says:

He was having no part of the Colts coming back with 3 in any way. He was getting the 7.

  6. FrankPillow Says:

Gronk was a MAJOR factor in the running game’s success- but hats off too to Lenny and RoJo, was well as the whole OL for playing like grown men. Fantastic stuff!

  7. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Playoff Lenny was great…..but Rojo is noticeably faster.

Where were Evans & Godwin in this game? & this isn’t the first time we have limited throws to them.

  8. Cubbucs Says:

There he is, Playoff Lenny… Lombardi Lenny… now Indy Lenny!

  9. Dewey Selmon Says:

And some idiot was calling him letdown Lenny in the first quarter lol

  10. adam from ny Says:

today was a game of running backs and tight ends…

    good game…interesting game…weird game sort of…

jonathan taylor only got rolling late in the game when the line was tired…

same for lenny…lenny rolled at the end when they tired out too…

    fun game to progressively watch

  11. The Beer Whisperer Says:

    He’s “Touchdown Lenny” this week.

  12. Buddha Says:

Anyone who knows football recognizes that the offensive coordinator made just outstanding calls on the last drive. Andy was playing for the passes and the Buccaneers show they have a running game. That was a work of art. My beginning to think we have one of the top three offensive coordinators in the league. Just brilliant today.

  13. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

I love Lenny! On the in game thread there were a lot of folks calling for Rojo and to get Lenny out of there. But then, he turned back into “Playoff Lenny” and “Lombardi Lenny.” I love the kid’s heart! It’s the size of Louisiana!
Just heard Lincoln Riley is headed to USC. That’s a great hire for the Trojans!

  14. JimmyJack Says:

Joe I get your excitement over that monster TD run. But I gotta give offensive player award to Gronk today. Grnk literally put the offense on his back and carried us today!!

I might actually say this is an ungly Bucs loss without the efforts of Gronkowski.

  15. unbelievable Says:

Yeah RoJo was close to busting open a few today.

Lenny is more consistent and the better pass blocker, while Jones has more big play potential.

I’ve been harping on this since last season, but under Arians, any time Fournette or RoJo has had 11 or more carries.. we’ve actually won the game every single time except once, back in 2019.

  16. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    @ Buddha

What in the hell are you talking about?????

The offensive play calling was horrific today…………..you essentially only had two players on offense making plays…..Gronk & Lenny

…..and that is simply unacceptable when you have Evans and Godwin on your team.

  17. unbelievable Says:

Offensive game balls should go to both RBs and Gronk. Those guys breasted out today.

  18. PassingThru Says:

    @TheBucsAnthem

I question your understanding of the game. “Biscuit’ football wasn’t working, even though Brady tried. That’s why he got into trouble repeatedly, the pass protection was shaky and the longer routes weren’t developed, or WRs didn’t get the separation. That’s why you saw Brady keeping his eyes upfield while holding the ball. Indy was playing with a cover two shell with competent CBs. When the defense is giving you that look, you play ball control: runs and short passes to the TEs and slot receivers. That isn’t checkdown football, got it?

  19. Jeffbuc Says:

We won the game. Down 10 at halftime won the 38-31 and still people are bitching. We got the best shot from one of the best teams in the afc and we leave winners. Without playing a great game. These are the games we lost the last 15 years. And yet fans are complaining. Give me a break was a great win. We got punched in the mouth and then rocky balboa there ass.

  20. Buccos Says:

I didn’t see any receivers that Brady missed who were open deep. Brady took what they gave us. We only turned the ball over once and our defense took the ball away all day. The interception by Winfield Jr was amazing. For a guy who is only 5’9” to go up and make that play on the ball was incredible. I think that Winfield should be All Pro along with Shaq Barrett.

  21. August 1976 Buc Says:

38 points, 38 points by the offense,

But BL and TB just sucked.

Maybe step back and take a breath and think about it again.

No team plays perfect games, no team has perfect playcallers.

    Just being real.

They just beat a Colt team that was playing well,

Remember the Colts blew out and embarrassed Buffalo.

The Bucs are 8-3 walking mash unit of injuries, but still are in better shape than last year.

    Keepin it real.

    GO BUCS!!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

  22. Swampbuc Says:

Anthem, put on your maroon pants, grab your pacifier and step away from your device.

The Colts were playing two deep with a deep shell most of the day, deep shots simply were not available. The Bucs scored 38 you maroon. Beginning in the 2nd quarter and continuing for the balance of the game, Bucs O was very effective.

The game winning drive made me want to lock myself in the bathroom alone for a quickie. Thing of beauty.

  23. August 1976 Buc Says:

Give me a break was a great win. We got punched in the mouth and then rocky balboa there ass!!!!!!!!.

That is Classic JeffBuc!! Just Classic lololololol

    Right on Bro

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  24. Pan Handle Says:

BucsAnthem understands the concept of a check down and thus thinks that by using it, the offense is somehow weak and underperforming.

Hey dipsh!t, if using the check down helps the team achieve a victory, perhaps because the other options are not available, do ya think maybe that the GOAT knows a lot more about the game then your duma$$? Oh yes, the GOAT should be following your advice about what is working and not working. Of course you would know, all-knowing one. BucsAnthem. Commenter on JoeBucsFan is disgraced with the Buccaneers 8-3 record and just how overrated they are with that record.

Good lord, humanity is doomed when people like BucsAnthem actually convince themselves they’re actually more intelligent than most others’.

  25. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

    Jeffbuc…….perfect analysis!

  26. Bird Says:

    Hahahhaaha

Bucs anthem showed up. Surprise. He usually only comes out in a loss

“He only soeaks truth “ were he recent words.
Dude is never right. Always wrong.

That is why when he said bucs would get spanked i knew we were looking good

Dude is a troll. Thats it. Not a bucs fan. Dont worry. He will be back out next loss saying i told you so. What an absolute clown.

  27. Player 1 Says:

Quattro Lenny four the win MFers!

  28. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    @ Bird

I didn’t know you missed me so much bebe!!!!!

    Love you too!!!!!

  29. bucschamp Says:

playoff Lenny > no neck taylor

  30. An Erection for Sacks Says:

Stupidity is not a crime, but it’s still shameful.

  31. Alanbucsfan Says:

After his 2nd qtr tiptoe td, Fournette gave the ball to a fan wearing a RoJo jersey
    lol

  32. DavidBigBucFan99 Says:

Our run game would be much better if ROJO was given more of a chance. He runs harder, faster and more decisive. Lenny is so painful to watch. His only real advantage over ROJO is he catches a few more passes and 3rd down blocking is better. Rojo will leave to be someone’s featured back.

  33. DavidBigBucFan99 Says:

Don’t get me wrong not taking away from what he did today and the last few games just proof of what happens when blocking is done well. He’s still painful to watch running. I only imagine what he would do if given the chance

  34. bucschamp Says:

I thought Lenny had an easy time with all his TD. our OL did good work. the 2nd TD he was wide open. the 4th one he just bulldozed the defensive guy. it was a good strategy.

  35. Cali_mike Says:

    Lenny Big Time Strikes again!!!!!!!!

  36. Mike Smith Jr Says:

#7 LENNY “LONGTERM” is the NEW, respectfully earned nickname. Lenny has been working his butt off this season and I believe he has produced the numbers that’ll EARN you that Longterm contract. Keeping Lenny in a BUCS jersey is crucial and I’m confident that Lenny becomes a local for YOUR, TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS!!!
