More Good News, Video On Gronk

November 19th, 2021

Someone’s got pep in his step.

Bucs Kickoff podcast host Rock Riley, the iconic Tampa Bay multimedia guru, is patrolling One Buc Palace and has fresh video below of Hall of Fame tight end Rob Gronkowski coming out for another day of work and looking good.

Gronk was a full participant in practice yesterday and, on Wednesday, Bucco Bruce Arians was rather emphatic that Gronk could be ready to roll Monday night against the Giants.

Gronk busted ribs in September against the Rams and then returned on Halloween for just six snaps, which led to him tweaking his back.

Arians said he wants better energy from his team. Well, Gronk brings a lot of inspirational juice.

    Please Carlton we need you!!!!

  2. Tamlpabaybucfan Says:

Know some will disagree….but I think Gronk is the most important injured player….Brady is a different QB when Gronk plays…..

    “Excellent…”- Montgomery Burns

  4. Buc55 Says:

C’mon let’s save this season before is too late. Go Bucs!

  5. cmurda Says:

    @TBBF.

100%. Dead on. This is great news. That sound you heard about 75 miles away was my loud sigh of relief.

  6. JimBuc2 Says:

    Gronkzilla returns!
    LFG Bucs
    Let’s Go Brandon!!

  7. Francisco Guzman Says:

Just hope they don’t rush him too early.

  8. Tamlpabaybucfan Says:

Carlton Davis would be my second choice for most important injured player.

  9. Dew Says:

    No blocking

  10. Medicated Pete Says:

49ers offense looked completely different when TE Kittle came back & they torched the Rams. WE NEED GRONKY KONG

Pat McAfee spending first 30mins of show Hammering Antonio Brown like he’s guilty. Smh toxic media

  11. Dew Says:

Time for Breshad Perriman to shine. 4.19 40 time at combine.

  12. PassingThru Says:

It’s encouraging to see Carlton Davis doing some light running, but then it’s only warm-up phase of practice. Maybe he can do the hard running later. I just hope that quad has healed and he’s a week or two from getting back into football shape.

  13. Swampbuc Says:

Gronk back is big but he alone cannot provide the energy that the “full of themselves” Bucs lack on the field.

And Perriman last shined in 2019, he wasn’t even good enough to make the Lions or the Bears. He sucks.

  14. Casual Observer Says:

Agree with those who think Gronk is key. Great news!

  15. Tamlpabaybucfan Says:

There were a couple of games Perriman played with Jameis where he looked fantastic…..if we could get even a sampling of that from him, that would be a bonus.

  16. SB~LV Says:

This team needs more than Gronk coming back…..they have been misfiring AL season except for the Bears…tackling has been shameful !

  17. firethecannons Says:

    most important player back poll

#1 AB tied with #1 Gronk
    #2 CD24
    #3 V.V.
    #4 Scooter
#5 SMB (hope he doesn’t get reinjured coming back too soon)

  18. Anonymous Says:

Anybody with lifelong back issues knows that back spasms can drop you like a rock. It feels entire back locks up in a painful cramp which can be triggered from the slightest wrong move especially hard to diagnose when related to another injury such as broken ribs. It’s important to note that Gronk’s back spasmed on a blocking play likely because Gronk over-compensated using his back in trying to protect his front and side. I still think that Rams DB was aiming for Gronk’s vulnerable short ribs when Gronk was stretched out and vulnerable. Not saying it was a dirty hit. Only that the DB likely garnered a lot of praise for taking out the Buc’s most imposing offensive threat for > month. The Bucs would very likely be sitting atop the League at 8 – 1 had Gronk not been injured. Just sayin.. Expect Gronk to play wearing the best flak-jacket ever made though it may hinder him some. Having Gronk back will turn this Team around in passing, running and time of possession. Hoping also we can get Scotty “Field Stretcher” Miller back too!!!

100% agreed; That’s why Rams took him out when they got the chance…..
The ONLY chance for us to stay in the race for PO, is having TB12 with his duo,
    RobG and AnthonyB.
No one else matter for Tom, that’s why he brought them here……. yeah yeah ME and CG and OJ….pffff, by now most of us know they DON’T matter to Tom.

  20. Listnfrmafar Says:

Gronks energy is infectious, this maybe the juice the team needed at least the offense. My concern is all I saw in the video was Gronk walking, I wonder what is limitations are? Either way he is a huge decoy at worst.

  21. crazybucs_CL Says:

    ^^^^^^
…..still D is going to suck, still the play calling is going to suck, but may have a chance by scoring 30+. I know is not the formula to win SB, but we may get to play offs, and save the embarrassment.

  22. captivajim Says:

we need Gronk , no question.. Just hope its not too soon..

  23. Bobby M. Says:

If I had to pick between Gronk or Brown returning…..I think Gronk is more beneficial. He’s such a well rounded TE that he opens up the play action/run/pass for Brady. Gronk allows Brady to play a game of chess with the opposing defense….not sure that Brown gives him that much flexibility in how he disguises run/pass plays.

  24. crazybucs_CL Says:

    @”.. decoy..”
    ——-
absolutely much better than having J. Darden in there; which BTW, i think the TV 🤡 keeps him in, just to prove the he was right drafting him….pathetic.

  25. cmurda Says:

@TBBF. Carlton is number 1 for me but Gronk is definitely very important. We have special teamers playing secondary and Carlton is a reliable borderline shutdown guy. it’s a nice feeling when you are confident with your dide that is handling their best receiver. We don’t have that right now.

  26. Oneilbuc Says:

Look how some of yall now finally realized it wasn’t just Brady!! Yall told me I knew nothing about football you call me a Brady hater and a Jamies fan and all I was doing was telling yall facts about the team. I told yall last year that this wasn’t the same team from 2019 but most of yall said I was worng and Brady came in took the same team from 2019 . I told yall Brady wouldn’t have help the bucs win nothing with that team and now you saw what happened when he played with those same players from 2019 we lost the same way back then. Brady is not the right quarterback for Evans . Every other quarterback was able to get Evans the ball except for Brady. Look how Evans and Godwin numbers dropped when Brady came?? This not a nock on Brady he’s been playing with certain types of receivers and now he can’t throw the 50 50 balls because of his age. Defense will always win championships regardless of the quarterback. Look at the Patriots now I told yall Belichick will develop Mac Jones just like he did Brady and he looks like Brady did in 2001.

  27. orlbucfan Says:

If Brady can’t win with guys like ME13, CG14, Brate and OJ Howard, he needs to get off the field. He also needs to clean up the pick 6s.

  28. bucschamp Says:

we need gronk because the other 2 TE are not even Half-gronk level. maybe 1/4 gronk…….or 1/8 gronk

  29. Ed Says:

On “broken plays,” Gronk knows which way to turn and break for the end zone, fast; which is virtually, always.

With Brady, when there’s confusion on the play, it’s a good time for the “deep ball.”

It seems surprising that other receivers haven’t “picked-up” on this yet, and either stop or come-back, etc.

Can’t count the times that a Brady-Gronk play down the seam like this has instantly turned the momentum of a game around.

    Gronk brings the magic.
