“I Trust Them. I’m Impressed With Them.”

November 30th, 2021

Faith in the Bucs.

See what happens when you play one of the hottest teams in the NFL and punk them in their own house on a short week? And you already have hardware to show you’ve got game? People want to crown you.

They want to crown you NFC champs.

There was a lot of love for the Bucs washing over national media hollering shows yesterday — that the Bucs are the team to beat in the NFC, despite currently being the No. 3 seed in the conference.

This was also a topic on “Good Morning Football,” seen weekday mornings on NFL Network. Co-host Michael Robinson noted the Bucs are not exactly winning pretty —  and he said that is a mark of a championship team.

Fellow co-host Kyle Bradt basically said the Bucs are the only NFC team he trusts.

“You feel good picking any other team in the NFC over these guys? I don’t,” Brandt said. “Packers find a way to mess things up. Cardinals, very, very, very green. Rams? — I would never pick anybody over the Bucs to win. Nobody.

“They have nothing to prove. They have nothing to learn. Some of these young teams, ‘We have to learn how to win.’

“If you ask me right now who I am picking to win the NFC? I’m picking those guys. I trust them. I’m impressed with them.”

That win Sunday was ballsy. It took a lot of plays from a lot of players but the Bucs won the battle of wills. They took every shot imaginable from the Colts and came back swinging.

Can the Bucs get to the Super Bowl? Sure. One reason is this roster is full of championship pedigree.

You can watch the full discussion about the Bucs in the NFL Network video below.

    Young, inexperienced.

    Sounds good to me….

    All comes down to injuries.
As it sits now, I cant see it. If we have good injury luck & get some healing down the stretch I’ll be confident.

I forgot about the short week on the road, not a lot of teams are able to handle a tough match up in those situations.

All I know is when Lenny scored that final TD Sunday that I was jumping up and down like a kid on Christmas morning yelling Go Lenny, Go Lenny, Go Lenny Gooooooooooo!!! Followed by a celebratory shot of Kraken.

They might have used up all their energy against the Colts and then comes out flat against the Falcons. That’s what I am concerned about.

I can just picture the Indy coach saying after the game “They are who we THOUGHT they were, and we LET ‘EM OFF THE HOOK!”

    Fair weather fans!!!

It wasn’t perfect, but they showed up and made big plays on both sides of the ball. We need to see that more consistently from quarter to quarter, but yeah, if they play a full 4 quarters of football like they are capable of, they are just too much for any other team to handle.

    I wouldn’t sleep on ATL…

Division game, on the road. Their Defense is not bad. Ask AW31 about Patterson..He’s a bad man.

  15. Tim in PSL Says:

Patterson is definitely a weapon, maybe the most important weapon to neutralize.

  16. David Says:

They can win out but they need to bring it every single week they are playing some damn good defenses down the stretch even if the teams overall aren’t that good.
Besides, we have already seen this year all the so-called top teams lose to bottom of the pack teams. This season, anything can happen

With AB back at game speed, able to gain 1 – 2 yards in separation and available when needed, there’s no argument. TB will always have an open and trusted target, along with Gronk, to get the ball out fast and move the chains. A healthy AB will also take pressure off of Evans, Godwin and Brate and also give Lenny even more open space between the 20s.

But not seeing AB in pads and running at ANY speed is worrisome. Something hinky going on with AB his ankle. I know that these interior low sprains take longer to heal but the man isn’t even jogging. I sure wish we’d see him in pads and practicing. What gives? Anyone know?

Bucs, AR, GB, LAR … it’s going to come down to who is the healthiest.

I love this, its hilarious. The defending SUPER BOWL champs are 8-3, yet some “fans” see just doom and gloom.

  22. Jonny Says:

I believe the Packers are the best team right now. They find ways to effectively handle even the very good teams. Aaron Rodgers I think is playing much better than Brady even though the stats don’t reflect that. Packers would be the team I am most scared of facing in the playoffs.
