Joe sincerely wishes all readers (and the haters addicted to this site) all the best today on one of Joe’s favorite holidays.
On what other day are gluttony and drunkenness celebrated like Thanksgiving, with football on the tube all day long?
What other day and night are you encouraged to eat like a hungry dog and drink like a thirsty fish while enjoying football from noon until nearly midnight? Yeah, the Lions are wretched but you can get away with your fourth Manhattan and blame the Lions — people will forgive you.
This is Joe’s kinda day. This is Thanksgiving Day.
There’s no real reason to ever get off the couch except to shovel more turkey and dressing and pumpkin pie down your gullet, or to grab an adult beverage or, well, you know, take care of personal business that comes thereafter.
Joe has a lot for which to be thankful, but nothing more important than Joe’s readers. If not for readers just like you, there’s no telling what Joe would be doing for a living, if not doing time. This here corner of the Interwebs certainly would not exist without loyal, faithful readers.

I would add a whole lot of teams to that list, 2 in Ohio alone! Minasota and Buffalo have been to the big dance 4 times and got squat out of it.

Serious question: Has anyone ever tried Turducken? For some reason, this is the first year I’ve ever given any thought to trying one. Too late this year, but maybe next year.
