Chris Godwin Has A Foot Injury

November 10th, 2021

Ouch!

Bad news coming out of One Buc Palace today.  The Bucs’ leading receiver, Chris Godwin, didn’t practice today because of a foot injury, Bucco Bruce Arians said.

The head coach didn’t sound confident Godwin would be ready for Sunday’s game at Washington, though there was no official announcement.

Stay ready, Tyler Johnson!

Just another reason to have Perriman back… Man injuries are piling up

  4. UPSTATE NY BUC FAN Says:

Here comes Perriman, just in time. That sucks going to game Sunday planned on wearing exact 14 jersey as above!! I guess I will regardless, Go Bucs!!!!

  5. Francisco Guzman Says:

What’s with all these damn injuries? Ridiculous! Sooner or later that catches up to you. That’s not good.

  6. Francisco Guzman Says:

All these games matter down the stretch. Not a good time to be having injuries.

  7. Rick Says:

Love me some Godwin but this is actually the one player who I think we have an adequate replacement for in Tyler Johnson who is a willing run blocker and does a nice job in the slot. With the loss of AB and then not having Scotty Miller we needed an extra outside player, which hopefully Perriman can fill in the void.

How in the hell did this happen is the ?

  9. SOEbuc Says:

    Great. Sit. Get BIG TJ!

  10. Bucfan81 Says:

Only the Bucs could get injured during the bye week lol That sucks though because I had Godwin in my fantasy lineup and now I will most likely be trying to find a replacement.

How does this happen in a bye week ???

  12. TampaBayBucs55 Says:

Would be a shame to drop one to the Skins coming off our bye, just a damn shame.

  13. TampabayDJ82 Says:

Rick – I think Tyler Johnson is a good young player and has a lot of upside to his career, but he is NOT a replacement for Godwin ! That’s like saying Perriman is good enough to fill Mike Evans shoe’s !! Both good players , but can’t replace potential HALL OF FAME players like Evans and Godwin

Brady lost Gronk, Aaron Hernandez, and Wes Welder, top 3 receivers, still went 12-4 and went to the AFC title game. With Evans, OJ Howard, Brate still suiting up, this should be easy.
