Bucco Bruce Arians talks cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting

The Bucs are 6-3 without Super Bowl cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting, but it feels like he’s a major secret to restoring greatness to the team.

Tampa Bay head coach Bucco Bruce Arians made it clear last night that Murphy-Bunting can run like the wind and just needs to get in game shape when it comes to his fitness. But the issue is his healing dislocated elbow, Arians told the Buccaneers Radio Network.

Arians said SMB has to stop thinking about the injury and must play freely before returning to the field. “Another good week of practice using that arm” is what Arians said he wants.

Arians said the same thing about Scotty Miller’s mending turf toe, which Miller says is healthy. “They’ve got to show it on the practice field and [that] their mind is right.”

Joe’s just glad to hear that things are moving in the right direction. It sounds like Murphy-Bunting will be ready within two weeks. Currently, he would replace Pierre Desir at starting outside cornerback with Richard Sherman and Dee Delaney injured.

If SMB plays anywhere near an acceptable level, Pete will be surprised because that was a brutal injury that plays head games thanks to dumb ass Antonio Wingfield Jr

I’m not sure how bad these guys are really hurt. Gronk, SMB, Scotty, AB, CD…..

every week it’s like “we’re almost there”

not saying their soft…..just get back on the dang field man

the team is gutted with injuries, and the ones on the field either can’t be trusted or are not paying attention.

doesn’t look good right now, even though I have hope

I just want to see what kind of product they can put on the field. The Bucs have to have a sports psychologist or two on that massive staff.

They might do wonders, if the staff isn’t like our current medical system, with 1500 doctors vying for all of your time and money, but not fixing anything.

Sounds now like the problem is mental, not physical. Nothing better for taking their minds off a healing injury than throwing them into a live fire situation. Gotta get both back on the field, and quickly. No more keeping them out so they’ll be healthy and ready for a playoff run. The playoff run is now. We can’t afford any more losses.

Two weeks? Get them back now. They might be 6-5 by then. GO BUCS!

Getting SMB might be more of a unwelcome return than one would want. He showed at the beginning of the season before he got hurt he couldn’t hardly cover anyone and people think he will be a big improvement? He might be better than Delaney but still a below average guy coverage man. Good luck with his return?|!

LFGO bucs get your butt in gear and NO MORE LOSSES PLAY WITH HEART

  8. Austin Says:

Yo Robert, the fact that it looked like he had a compound fracture and his arm made a backwards L, him coming back at all is an achievement. Rob punctured his lung, and broke ribs, him coming back is a miracle too.

As if SMB really makes a difference in the BUCS defense. I still remember he keeps on getting burned by other QB’s.
