When Tom Brady Is On His “A” Game

October 12th, 2021

Winning.

Some folks who have followed Bucs quarterback Tom Brady since his early years in New England swear his game Sunday against Miami was among the top-5 of his career.

To pull that off at 44-years old is truly amazing.

And one NFL stenographer believes if Brady continues to play like he did Sunday against the sad Dolphins, this Bucs team will march through Los Angeles with another title in February.

John Breech of CBS Sports believes the Bucs are that good when Brady is that good.

When Brady is on his “A” game, the Buccaneers are impossible to beat and the quarterback was definitely on his “A” game against the Dolphins. The Buccaneers ended up totaling 558 yards against the Dolphins, which was the second-highest total ever with Brady and the fourth-highest total in team history.

And remember Brady did this damage without foot-rubbing, car-littering film guru tight end Rob Gronkowski.

And Ronald Jones was a mere bit player.

And the defense is banged up.

Imagine when the Bucs get healthier? Man, this team is a blast to watch.

And the A team (with TB) was resting on the bench for the last several minutes.

  2. Mike Says:

The Bucs are hitting their stride a bit on offense now. Seems like that New England game where they got back to the ground game really helped get the offense fully back on track and firing on all cylinders.

  3. SlyPirate Says:

Why is Rojo still getting playing time?

Give Vaughn a chance. He can’t be worse.

  4. Show Me the TDs Says:

The defense being banged up contributed to the offensive output.

And he doesn’t have his scooter!

  6. Ed Says:

Get the ball to Brown, Gronk, Fournette, Eavs, Godwin and even Tyler Johnson. Feed them and feast on defenses. Yes the Saints have Lattimore who can take Evans out and the Rams have Ramsey who will stop any #1 WR. But the Bucs are a team deal and these stud corners can’t cover every inch of the field.

A coach can pick their poison and scheme against certain Buc plays but as long as Brady spreads the ball around there is no stopping the Buc offense.

  7. Brent Clark Says:

Ah to have a winner in the house enjoy it while it lasts, hopefully a couple more seasons! By then, the Bucs will be established as the place to be and a magnate to top players, it just takes ONE to start the movement and the Bucs have the ONE AND ONLY TB12!!!

  8. E.V. Says:

Eagles should of only scored 3 if that. The bucs corner gave up 2—- 45 yard penalties other wise would of been blowout and Brady would of had another 7 touchdowns the way he was playing. But Chicago at home saints on road than bye week. Than hopefully we get all players back and watch out rest of NFL….

  9. E.V. Says:

We will smoke Chicago especially if we go for it on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 especially the way our handicap defense played against Philly. Leftwitch needs to mix it up I mean it’s 3rd and 1 and chooses a deep play. Get the first down first then go deep don’t take rocket scientist and not first time this is been happening it’s started beginning of season they got 1 yard to go and especially with playoff Lenny your 99.9 percent to get the first down than you pass deep….. Am I right????
