Tom Brady Talks About His Bad Thumb

October 11th, 2021

Tom Brady agreed this evening that he “clipped his thumb” against Miami following through on a pass yesterday.

Brady said during “Let’s Go!” on SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio that he doesn’t like to talk about injuries because “it doesn’t help the healing energy part of it.”

No concern about the thumb was expressed by Brady while talking to host Jim Gray. Brady also noted that he’s had four major injuries to his throwing hand during his career.

“It’s a little bit sore but nothing I’m not used to,” Brady said.

He added that “hopefully” he can work through it and he did not shake hands after Sunday’s victory.

He’ll be fine. He played all last year on a bad knee. This is no big deal.

We’ll need to be at our best….looked at some of the rankings for the Eagles and they are very competitive on both offense & defense.

You don’t play as long as TB12 and not be tough as nails.

    Probably his most underrated trait.

We’ll see. If it is too serious, it’ll be a problem gripping the ball… But a simple bruise and minor swelling probably would not be too big of an issue.

Fee fi fo fum , Tommy has an owie on his thumb! My bet it does nothing to slow this mentally tough QB down. Icing it right away was the smart thing to do. My bet is it will have no effect on him by game time.

It’s no big deal. Clipped in the first half, they showed a replay of it. He did pretty good after that
