Tom Brady Aging Quite Well

October 1st, 2021

Godsend.

If Tom Brady played as badly last season (or this season) as he did when he first took over as Patriots’ starting quarterback 20 years ago, people would be screaming for the Bucs to go get Mr. Entertainment, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, back in the building.

Joe’s eyes nearly bugged out when reading Brady’s stats, courtesy of BSPN, after he took over for Drew Bledsoe in 2001. In the final eight games that led to his first ring, Brady had twice as many picks as he did touchdowns. Unreal!

Now go look at Brady’s stats in the final eight games of last year, ending with his seventh Super Bowl title. He had a ridiculous 22 touchdowns to 4 picks (all but one came in the same half of the same game).

Sometimes Joe thinks he’s living in a Bucs fan’s dream world. Both Brady and the Bucs have come a long, long way.

I feel like I live in a Patriots New England nightmare. Without this site… All I hear about the Bucs is Tom Brady and his beef with Belichec. I have to say I’m already screaming for JW or another Qb to stop hearing that crap and sometimes wish he took his baggage to another team. Enough already but I know it will not stop

No, it is not anywhere close to the bad situations the Bucs have had for so many different years, with Jameis or other QBs this team has had.

The beat goes on, glad Brady is with the Bucs.

Sometimes TBBF thinks he is aging well…..then he wakes up in the morning.

Situation wasn’t that bad if you added 1 player (tom) and you win a SB

  5. August 1976 Buc Says:

Criminal allegations are bad, these things meaning the different things being said about Brady and Billy B are just part of how things are.

  6. Youngbucs Says:

Lamarcus oh so now the situation wasn’t that bad lol. You had a change of heart now. You trashed this team players and coaches alike they were holding winston back according to you and others.

  7. Lamarcus Says:

No change of heart. I’m going by the narrative. Narrative was replacing the qb and then won a SB. I’m talking about turning on Bucs News and hearing Brady treatment in New England. I’m over it. I dont have to care about what he did in New England if he plays for Tampa.

  8. Mike Says:

Stats should be interpreted with the whole picture. The Patriots were terrible with Bledsoe drunk the 2000 and the first 2 game. TOm stats was not good but he was so clutch to get the win by field goal.

  9. JimmyJack Says:

    Lamaracus……You are screaming for JW?

So…..you are screaming for 5-11 football? Youre biting the hand that feeds you my boy.

If JW was here and the Bucs needed defensive help Sherman would have fallen down laughing at the thought of coming here. Suh was already gone after suffering a year of Winston. When we signed Brady he resigned 2 hours later. JPP would of been gone too. Mike Evans would of been the next and Godwin probably would of held out……………..I could keep going but I think you get the point.

Your favorite Saints QB would of completly destroyed the franchise from top to bottom. Best move in Buccaneers history.

    Not a chance.

TB12 was never an embarrassingly childish buffoon. Ever. That other QB could simply throw a ball. In all other aspects he was clearly lacking, both as a QB, and as a person.

  11. JimmyJack Says:

Oh and not for nothing but your boy will be looking for a new team in Feburary. He was nothing more then a cheap QB they could find while they clear up dead CAP.

The Saints will have money next year and they will be buying a real QB. If you think Payton fixed Winston put on the film from last week. Unless he taught Jamies how to throw TDs while falling backwards the guy is exactually the same.

  12. Craig Says:

Yep, things weren’t so bad for our ex-QB a few years ago. We were all geared up for a great run, and it didn’t happen. The defense was actually better than this one, except for the coach. The rest of the offense was close to this one.

That meant our ex-QB failed us. That got changed and we are on the road to another Stupor Bowl.

    E’nuff said.

We are watching GOAT. A pro’s pro. He takes care of his body, has a wealth of experience, and still somehow continues to find motivation to keep doing it while pushing himself. Glad that he is on our team, and happy to share this experience with the rest of the league. Special times indeed.

  14. Bird Says:

Jimmy jack in for the kill

And dont forget who came here with the goat
And Team building came because of brady

Fournette, AB , gronk , gio And yes sherman

    Defense not great like before
Run game not great like before
Oline different one player from before

You dont think the 2.5 qb release doesnt help oline look good too
Its amazing that people are still upset about the former and not happy with the present

People sick of the credit the goat gets is laughable
Most buc fans couldnt stand brady before cause of all the winning
And he is here now and only the clueless fans are sick of the credit he gets
Best nfl free agent signing in history
And trust me ….we know the real reason for that

  15. Oneilbuc Says:

Lamarcus . I feel the same way bro man !! You hit nail right on the head bro !! I 100 % agree with you bro you are saying the same thing I’ve been saying for the longest since Brady came. I celebrate the team winning and I get call a Brady hater!! Even when I give Brady credit they get mad at me !!!

  16. Oneilbuc Says:

I like your statement bro !!! But just know one thing you are going to be hated on now !!!

  17. Bird Says:

    Oneil

    There yah are
Show us where you gave brady credit one bit. Just one positive comment about him
I will wait for the response
But all we will get is 😂 and !!!

I can find comment after comment of calling him a bust early on
And Cheater even though what he won 3 or 4 championships since deflategate
You said defense deserved credit for super bowl
Then. Oh well its the team
Of course it takes a team.

You think 6 stars would have been here if the former stayed

    Suh gone
    Jpp gone
    Ab gronk fournette brady nope

Oh and every single player came forward and said jameis my boy and then said “but”

Its all good though. You only chime in when its a discussion of the former and current qb

Do you even talk about any other player?
    Everyone else does

Glad you dont like brady. I didnt care two sheets before he came here
Now. The man deserves his place in bucs history

  18. Oneilbuc Says:

Bird . I have said it a lot after a game that Brady played good. Even when yall was trying to blame him for that strip sack fumble I told yall that it wasn’t his fault because I never blame strip sack fumbles on no quarterback when they are trying to throw and some one hit the ball out of their hand regardless who the quarterback is. Just because I don’t make Brady the only reason why we win doesn’t mean I don’t give him credit or hate him . The only thing yall do is celebrate Brady more than yall do the Bucs wining the superbowl last and us wining games this year. And I do agree with lamarcus I can care less about how Billchick treated Brady in New England. This site does sound more like a Patriots site than a Bucs site.

  19. G.Marosi Says:

I don’t know anything but I do know I will take the goat 🐐 over JW any day of week and twice on Sunday!

  20. Ne+ bucs fan Says:

Hey guys how do you feel the way Brady was treated in NE by Bill,, LOL
