Give Tom Brady A Break!

October 1st, 2021

Always mentally prepared.

Joe has already been over being bored stiff of the Tom Brady-Bill Belicheat hype before last Sunday’s game with the Rams.

One point people are trying to invent is that the Belicheats will have a leg up on stopping Brady and the Bucs on Sunday night is that Brady will be too distracted. Puh-LEEZE!

Joe thinks that is utter nonsense and empty chatter for lazy sports radio hosts.

It seems Chris Broussard of FS1 is of the same mind as Joe. In one of FS1’s hollering shows, “First Things First,” Broussard picks apart this argument that Brady will be rattled returning to New England.

In so many words, Broussard says Brady doesn’t know the meaning of “rattled” or “distracted.”

As Joe’s wise high school coach used to say, “A distraction is a distraction if you let it be a distraction.”

You can see and hear Broussard’s take in the FS1 video below.

Jesus H Christ, doesn´t make any sense to eleven listen to this guy….He never ever said something interesting……….

  2. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Tom Brady may throw a bad pass….may make a poor decision….may even have a bad game…..but Tom Brady is never, ever distracted and particular is never rattled.

  3. Evolvingbucsfan Says:

Just read an interesting stat the Brady passed Farve as the most sacked QB in NFL history, Running more than 9 plays might help that. Seriously he has taken good care of his body and im sure he has those sacks spread out over a longer period of time than Farve did, but still……

  4. Beastmode Says:

He sort of sounds like Chris Rock 🙂

  5. Joe Says:

Running more than 9 plays might help that.

Problem: Running (with this Bucs team) = less points which means losing (see previous story about Bucs allowing so many points).

So do you run just to run and hope you get a wild card or do you pass to win (which the Bucs have done) and hope no one gets hurt and win a division?

In Joe’s mind, “Pass the meperidine.”

  6. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

The Press just will not leave Tom Brady alone! They have been making a big deal lately about a supposed “Rift” between Tom Brady and Richard Sherman, despite the fact that Richard Sherman has denied this, and said “what happens on the field stays on the field”.
In fact, Tom Brady was instrumental in Sherman coming to Tampa.

  7. Buxszntkt Says:

Hey Joe who is the d-bag Michael Johnson that gets to delete posts of people who think the opposite of his views ??? Uncool censoring opposing viewpoints for a favored few that get to make stupid comments unopposed !

  8. Buxszntkt Says:

Is he a former subaverage buc who is using MJ as his pen name ?

  9. SB Says:

@Buxszntkt…………Mike Johnson is one of the resident racists here. I don’t believe he has power to erase posts tho.

  10. Posey99 Says:

Bill will be expecting a lot of passes, knowing brady will want to slice up his defense. As ineffective as the run was last week, we still have to commit to it for the play action to be effective.

What are you referring to? The only “Michael Johnson” Joe knows of is Ghost Johnson.

  12. JimmyJack Says:

My God this guy is bad. I couldnt handle 30 seconds of this dude. I wanted to punch my own face. How do yall listen to this crap?

  13. ATLBucsFan Says:

They know how to attack Brady. Everybody does. Only some can get to him. That’s all Brady needs to worry about

  14. Craig Says:

Brady was a sixth round pick that proved his worth many times over. Then the team, and coach, got cheap and refused to give him anyone to play with; even though he gave up some pay for the team.

He isn’t going to get distracted by that, he found a team with a huge toy box and is having the time of his aged life.

He doesn’t really have anything to prove to those mass-axes, he will be business-like and beat the living snot out of the Patriots.

  15. Ben green Says:

Of the nine NE Superbowls, the Pats scored a whopping 3 points in all of the first quarters combined. In big games, Brady is a notorious slow starter. Ben thinks Brady may be to amped up for this game. It’ll take him a series or two to settle in. He’s a human being, not machine.
People Ben knows, that still work for the team, think the Pats are going to win. These same folks usually tell Ben when the Pats are in trouble. It surprised Ben, and I’m certainly not picking the Patriots. I think Bill will invite the run. He knows what Brady is conditioned to do against a light box. They’ll be no long touchdowns for the bucs. Our safteys will be so deep, it’ll be hard for Brady to even see them. GTFB. that may make it a closer game, but Brady is more than happy to take the underneath stuff, and hand off. It’s the ultimate sign of respect really. They played a similar defense against Manning’s broncos in 13. Ben still doesn’t know how it adds up to a Pats win

  16. August 1976 Buc Says:

Brady clean Jersey = Bucs win.
The Pats are not going to win any kind of shootout with Mac jones at this point of his career.

    GO BUCS!!!!!!!

  17. Steve Gaudreau Says:

The two know each other very well. TB12 practiced against that BB defense for a long long time. It’ll be interesting to see what BB can cook up for a game plan that TB12 hasn’t seen and if anyone can do it it’ll be BB but one the flip side Mac Jones needs to deal with the TB defense. That might be the X factor. The kid is smart beyond his age. Maybe after Devin White, Suh and a couple of Shaq attacks it might rattle his cage. Kid is good and the will teach him a painful but needed lesson. I hope he is on the sideline paying real close attention to the Master and pick up a few things to help him get better. We’ll lose of course but it’ll be a great learning experience for Mac. And for the record, as a Patriots fan, I’m on Tom’s side for this one. It’s been a media frenzy up here in New England to say the least lol

I’m a Pat’s fan 45 years+ and I am rooting for Tom Brady until he hangs up his cleats! Bucs will win. Look at what happened when Brady was suspended wrongly for deflategate! I would normally want it to be a good game but I am still too upset at what BB did to TB12 over the years to not want to see TB12 get his revenge on BB and score at least 6 TDs! BB threw TB under the bus during deflategate, wanted to trade TB in 2017, didn’t give him any offensive weapons in 2019, wouldn’t give him the multi year deal when he won his 6th super bowl and wouldn’t meet with him when Brady quit! I only feel bad that Gronk won’t be on the field to get his revenge too tonight. I’m hoping TB12 and the Bucs play their best and best the Pants off the Patriots. Also, the Patriots better give Brady an over the top welcome back or I might stop being a fan! Brady gave us 6 SB wins (almost 9) and we should appreciate that! I hope the cheers when TB12 throws a touchdown outweigh the boos and TB12 has extraordinary fans in the stands tonight! TB12 deserves our praise!!!!
