Saints 36, Buccaneers 27

October 31st, 2021

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. Very sloppy.

What a mess, and now the Bucs are 6-2 as the slimy Saints have their chests puffed out with their 5-2 record.

Yep, just the way everyone drew it up. Trevor Siemian carved up the Bucs.

Damn, it felt a lot like 2015 or 2018 for a while there. Turnovers, bad penalties, inability to hold a lead against a second-rate quarterback.

A pick-six from Tom Brady to close out the game? You know it’s a head-shaker of a day when that happens.

Joe is queasy. The Bucs have a lot of work to do during the bye week. Perhaps someone can teach Devin White what taunting is? Or bark at Jason Pierre-Paul for jumping offsides for no good reason?

The Bucs didn’t look the part today — in what was the biggest game of the season. Eleven penalties for 99 yards, not the actions of a seasoned world champion.

They got their big break when Jameis Winston got injured and couldn’t take advantage. Or maybe it was the Saints’ break?

The cornerbacks? Joe’s eating Tums.

Cyril Grayson and Chris Godwin, take a bow. Bucco Bruce Arians, what the hell was that letting Tom Brady get hit twice in the final minute in a lost game!

    Pathetic.

  3. Medicated Pete Says:

Evans alligator arms cost us that game at the end. Smh

  4. Huh Says:

    Congrats!!!!
    Well deserved. 3rd stringer!!!!!
    Piss off

  5. BucsBro Says:

Good comeback, and done without AB and Gronk.

Poor play by both sides of the ball on the final two real drives of the game.

We have to get past this Saints Own Bucs mojo.

    Hope Jameis isn’t too hurt.

  6. Jerry Says:

6 straight reg. season losses to the Saints now.

You can pretty much kiss the first seed good-bye.

  7. WalkdaPlank Says:

The refs were god awful. Called back an INT. Let LVD get held for a mile on the Kamara TD.

That being said the Bucs had their opportunities to put this one away and didn’t. This is on them.

Classic Bucs. Get burnt by a nobody 3rd stringer. Never fails.

  8. Timbucs2 Says:

Why does Brady always do his best Jameis impression against the Saints?

  9. Adrnagy Says:

Everything is fine. Ill take the L

But this called “joe “ needs to banned d. Brooks. – no brooks in this website.

Our hall of fame LB , long time buc picking the saints ??

    Disgusting.

  10. FlumundaCheese Says:

Brady laid an egg today. Simple as that.

  11. cmurda Says:

What did Devin White do? I couldn’t even tell and if it’s that unnoticeable. Should it be called? Sloppy game. Too many penalties but too many imaginary penalties too. The refs balanced that game a lot.

  12. D-Rome Says:

    Bad game by the Bucs.

As I said earlier in the week, Jameis was a non-factor.

Poor discipline on the part of the Bucs today.

  13. BuccaneerButters Says:

I feel sick too. Literally. I wanted us to win so bad. I hate the aints so bad. Absolutely cannot stand them. Now they’re going to be running their mouths until next time. Gonna be a looooooong bye. Hate that we lost right before it too. Need to heal and we better be prepared to beat the snot out of the WFT after this.

  14. BucsBro Says:

There are too many miscommunications on offense. The INT on the throw to Johnson. Evans seeming to short the route right before the ending Pick Six.

Gotta tighten up things. Arians’ offense lets both QB and WR make route adjustments, but sometimes things are way off.

Brady just missed the safety jumping the route late. Every now and then he’ll mess up with safeties. Did the same in the Packers playoff game.

  15. Adrnagy Says:

Buc for life. – no matter what!

  16. BuccaneerButters Says:

I forgot about the Evans play. If he doesn’t try to complain and call for a flag and keep his concentration, he could have caught the ball.

  17. BucsBro Says:

So we’re back to “penalty problems and Saints problems” again, like last year.

Guys gotta get over the hump. For good.

  18. Scottish BucBob Says:

    It’s the red jerseys.
Let’s play in white every game.
    Bucs beating Bucs.😔😔

  19. Pelsbuc61 Says:

Bucs beating Bucs once again. Defense sucks and Devin White plays stupid!

  20. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    Bucs beating Bucs

  21. Darin Says:

Now you’re bashing them after saying 17-0 then 16-1? Bipolar Joe its sounding like. Now after a couple wins we gota hear about 15-2. Until they lose again. Welcome to the NFL bipolar Joe. Other teams have pro’s too

  22. Buczilla Says:

Brady played like a$$ and we had a plethora of bad calls against us. Half of the penalties against us were legit though and we deserved to lose. Sad and pitiful. Thank goodness we have our bye week to figure this bs out.

  23. Rod Munch Says:

It’s not hard to win a game when the refs decide the outcome.

  24. ModHairKen Says:

Don’t knock Derrick Brooks. He saw something. He was right.

  25. Red86 Says:

Very disappointing. We need that loss. The players care more about trash talking than focusing on playing. Too overly emotional, which lead to dumb penalties. We have been barely surviving this season. Eventually we are going to be exposed.

  26. BFFL Says:

Doesn’t matter. Still need to win in playoffs regardless if bucs lose or win today. Just got to learn from mistakes.

  27. Bucamania Says:

Brady played poorly but the Bucs D was disgusting. Stupid penalties all game long and couldn’t stop Trevor and Co. in the 4th quarter. Pretty pathetic.

  28. Will Says:

Well I guess fans owe Brooks an apology. He called a loss and we proved him right. Glad the bye is here hopefully we can stop all the penalties. As much as I hate the taunting rule Devin White that was classic taunting and deserved the penalty. I don’t think the tackle on Jameis was a horse collar though. Still we all know how things are called when we go to New Orleans so need to be better prepared for it.
Can anyone explain how you call roughing the passer when the ball had already been intercepted and the guy who you called it on got his helmet ripped off but no call there. SMH

  29. Rod Munch Says:

Brady played poorly? He literally took what the refs were making a blowout, and made it a game. Without him it’s a 42-7 loss.

People are stupid and don’t know what they’re watching.

  30. Rod Munch Says:

Why would you idiots get mad at Brooks for not being morons like you guys? The Bucs, at best, will spilt with the Saints. Payton is just a better coach than Arians, always will be, and this defense gives Brady problems. In addition we’re playing with complete trash at corner, then on top of that the refs are literally giving the Saints points, first downs, more points, more first downs, taking turnovers off the board that lead to points, etc.

This was to be expected unless you’re delusional. The only morons surprised by this are the idiots that underestimated the Saints.

Still, if the game is even remotely called fairly the Bucs win easy.

But maybe this is the wake-up call. Sure the Bucs have beatup on bad teams, but they’ve been sloppy doing so. Now they got time to get healthy, and to get mad.

  31. orlbucfan Says:

Brady missed a bunch of wide open receivers in the first half. Godwin was having a big game but Brady forgot about him. He gave the aholes in NOLA 9 points. Turnovers. I will stand up to any of the yahoos on here about how great Brady is. He’s 44 years old and boy, did he look it in this one. The refs did their usual but some of the calls were legit. The defense got their mojo back but the 3 Brady turnovers were too much. Brady better make it up when the aholes come to Tampa, if he hasn’t had a stroke by then.

  32. Coburn Says:

Was pretty sure I saw a helmet turn she. Jpp jumped. Consider the slight movement that we got called on. Was it Jones lined out wide? Can’t remember

  33. bradybucs Says:

    orlbucfan,

LOLZ.. Brady had 4 TDs and 375 yards. He made some mistakes but the penalties clearly decided this game.

  34. Listnfrmafar Says:

I can hear BA now, “Duh!” Why take Rojo out he was the only RB finding the hole and WTF, no Gio at the end of the game? It felt like I was watching Curry coaching Houston today.

  35. Annapope1 Says:

That was a real dirty hit on Winston. That being said, I have never seen 4 defensive penalties in a row before! I don’t care how great an offense is, it is hard to overcome mistakes like that!

  36. Alanbucsfan Says:

Besides turnovers differential and penalties, Bucs lost time of possession significantly- because Saints doubled the Bucs’ rushing yards.

  37. Steve M. Says:

Dispite all the chatter above. Brady BUCS was the only one to call what happened today correctly.

  38. Swampbuc Says:

Rod Munch hits nail on head.

Brooks smelled what was coming, so did I for that matter, there are plenty of signs leading up to this slopfest. And idiots and morons here are mad at him? Really?

Don’t be such homers that you lose perspective on reality. Or just continue to be really stupid.

  39. Oneilbuc Says:

No excuses man they lost Brady threw a pick 6 witch I don’t understand why they didn’t just make the tackle and stop him from scoring. The bucs still will win the superbowl this year but yall need to stop putting on blinders when it comes to Brady. The one thing I noticed if teams play the middle of the feild they can stop Brady all day long. But Sean Payton is a great coach and you have to give that man credit with the roster he has on offense no receivers and no tight ends worth anything. BA would be 0 and 8 with that saints team.

  40. Gerry Says:

    Fire Byron Leftwich

  41. Buc king Says:

That was a defensive lost by far…we took the lead by 1 defense was soft and let them drive the field…just a sad day even with saints bad play call and throwing over n over

Gifting us the ball back ..brady made a bone head play on 2nd and 10 with minute n half left…time outs still there….this is a rivalry game things like this can happen…
We have to capitalize on playba 3rd string qb..
    Ball was dropped..
On to the bye week and tape study

  42. alaskabuc Says:

We have honestly been pretty lucky the
last 4 or 5 weeks to play such a light schedule. We barely beat the Cowboys, got our asses kicked by the Rams, and have now lost to a Saints team that we should have be able to beat. The Bucs have not looked like a front runner to repeat yet. This team looks eerily similar to the team that played the first half last season, the sloppy defense and lack of discipline should not exist in the reigning champ. I feel like this team thought it would waltz right to the super bowl again, time for BA to burn last years Super Bowl articles and get this mess straightened out.

  43. Ne+ bucs fan Says:

    It’s all good,,a bye ,9 games left,,win 7,-8, we’ll be 13-4,,14-3,,
