Jay Glazer: Rob Gronkowski Will Be Limited

October 31st, 2021

Usage intel.

News from the ultimate newsbreaker in NFL Media, and that would be FOX Sports insider Jay Glazer.

Today, Glazer claims that while Bucs foot-rubbing, car-littering film guru tight end Rob Gronkowski will be on the gameday active roster, he will be limited to “certain situations.”

Glazer was not specific. So Joe can only guess this means that Gronk will be used only in the red zone and third-and-short situations.

In Joe’s mind, if the Bucs can afford to win and not play Gronk, all the better. Why? The Bucs shouldn’t need him after today until they play the Colts in Indianapolis in the last game of November.

Really surprised, not with the approaching bye week coming up. Who gets left off the active roster today?

  2. Medicated Pete Says:

Bucs are playing mind games. Just win the damn game or u will get beat if not ready

I agree with the author, Glazer’s great. When he reports it, I believe it. I wish he had an update on the other guys, David, JPP, Sherman, etc… It’s unfortunate this game is before the bye as the team should be much healthier after the bye.

    Sit

  5. Jerry Says:

Looks like JPP, David, Sherman, and Gronk are all on active roster today.

  6. Rod Munch Says:

The take I read earlier said on another site was Glazer saying he was told the Bucs would only be using Gronk as a decoy, which makes no sense. Why would the team tell anyone that a player is just a decoy, unless it’s reverse phycology.

Just win baby!!!! Go Bucs!!!! It’s GAME DAY!!!! Let’s Go!!!

  8. Bird Says:

    Lavonte playing is huge

And you know jpp will play even though he did not practice this week.

  9. Bird Says:

    Delaney out

So Does that mean big worm big sherm needs to play?

  10. Rod Munch Says:

Hey guys, if we score more points than the Saints, we win. That’s what the game is all about.

  11. Rod Munch Says:

    OUCH

Sam Darnold just got his head knocked off. He’s running like he’s in the soft AFC East.

  12. Rod Munch Says:

Justin Fields looks like a completely different player today. All Chicago had to do was give their head coach COVID so he can’t be at the game, and now they can have what looks like an NFL offense.

  13. Rod Munch Says:

Calvin Ridley just quit football because he’s mentally weak! LOL!

Yeah, your mental health is a real issue. You’re 26 and a multi-millionaire and play with a ball for a living, but you got it so bad.

    What a turd.
