Jamel Dean “Is Full Speed. He’s Fine.”

October 8th, 2021

The quote above is from Bucco Bruce Arians today.

It’s great news about cornerback Jamel Dean, who has struggled with a knee injury suffered two weeks ago.

The Bucs are getting healthy!

Dean may not be a first team All pro. Or second team, but this helps.

    Great news! Now, tighten up.

What did Pete do to deserve this kind of good news?

  4. dmatt Says:

Did he give a deer in the headlight look when the news was “passed to him”? I’d take my chances with Sherman over Dean any day.

Dean is going to shine folks!

Fans gripe about Dean, Davis & SMB….but are sure glad to have them get back on the field….it beats the alternative.

Only one way to quiet down the ignorant haters!

  8. Biff Barker Says:

Play Dean only enough to win.

A lot of the dopes commenting about Dean and SMB haven’t watched other teams 2nd and 3rd corners – because around the NFL, there’s a ton of bad corners, I think mainly due to all the rules the NFL has put in place to help offenses. Also they fail to take into account the competition the Bucs have faced. Most people got their panties in a bunch because of week 1, when the Bucs were facing probably the 2nd best trio of WRs in the NFL, then again in week 3, that was another trio (thanks to D-Jax wanting to show-up) that was at least top 5.

This last week, against a very average WR core in NE, the Bucs got a couple of guys off the street who were just good enough to allow the Bucs to get a W. If/when the Bucs corners are all back and healthy, and we’re not playing stacked teams, you’ll see the Bucs corners looking much better and hopefully building momentum for the post-season.

Don’t think Sherman isn’t looking for a starting spot… Fight on.. Go BUCS

Question: Of the current cb’s who CAN play, WHO takes the WR1?

I wish they would try Dean in safety I think he would be a better safety than a conerback. He has the height and the speed to play safety.
