“He Telegraphed It A Little Bit”

Bucs QB Tom Brady

Suits at BSPN and FS1 are going to send Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians a few bottles of scotch. And it has nothing to do with the coming holidays.

Arians just gave the hollering shows about a week’s worth of firewood. Maybe two weeks until the Bucs return to play the WTF after the bye.

Arians was asked today about the killer pick-six by Bucs quarterback Tom Brady. With roughly 90 seconds left in the game and the Bucs trailing by one, virtually the nation was laughing at slimy Saints coach Sean Payton for throwing on the previous possession, allowing Brady time to make one of his trademark late-game rallies for a win.

Instead, Brady, on his second throw of the drive, tossed a pick-six.

Ballgame.

Asked about the play, Arians gave slimy Saints corner P.J. Williams most of the credit but Arians noted Williams had help. On the throw that was targeting Chris Godwin, Arians said of Brady, “He telegraphed it a little bit.”

Arians also said, Williams “made a helluva play” on the ball.

The last time Arians dared to single out his Hall of Fame quarterback after a loss, the hollering shows at BSPN and FS1 had a total field day. A couple of nimrods at BSPN even had the notion that Arians should have been fired.

How’d that work out, you fools?

Scotch isn’t strong enough for Arians. Looks like he’s drinking straight Everclear now w/ that beet red face

  2. August 1976 Buc Says:

Brady had the Chicago brain fart last year, and now the Nawlins give away.
It was classic Bucs beating Bucs Garbage.

    Whatever…

    On to the bye week.

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  3. gp Says:

Were it not for the refs throwing the game the saints way, that last, failed drive, would actually have been a series of kneel downs.

  4. DBS Says:

And the ball before that should have been picked. There was plenty of time. What was the big rush??

  5. Medicated Pete Says:

Devin White did not get on the team plane according to sources. He’s staying in Lousiana to pet horses

  6. Bucschamp Says:

I wish we had better plays in the last drive. Everybody knew Tom was looking for Chris Godwin.

  7. adam from ny Says:

tom brady voodoo dolls are now being sold on bourbon street by street hustlers that hock sh!t

  8. Bucschamp Says:

Even the 2 pt attempt was obviously for Chris Godwin

  9. Joe Says:

Brady said in his presser he had Mike Evans open. The offical NFL gamebook has Chris Godwin listed as the intented target.

  10. SOEbuc Says:

Some dumb f#ck plays certainly called against a top notch defense. Dumb ass screen to Darden. Was that Fournette throw back in the playbook? I hope not. Godwin on the end around. Just throw him the screen and he will collect the first on third and short. Bad plays called by coaches and Tom.

  11. Oxycodoms Says:

The telegraph occurred on the bench before brady took the field . The camera man was showing brady and leftwich talk about the crossing route they were crossing arms to each other talking about the play basically telling everyone what was coming

  12. gp Says:

Ariens should be “telegraphing” the NFL head office regarding the “officiating”
I saw at least 60 yards of PI yards against Lattimore in just two plays. Between just those and the “couple” of bogus calls against us, this game swings 14 to 21 points the other direction. And that doesn’t take into account the “other” missed calls.
No, we didn’t play our best game. We also didn’t game plan against the refs!

  13. Francisco Guzman Says:

Brady was not in a good mood in the postgame presser. Hope it fuels him. Again this team won’t go far if the defense doesn’t start playing better.

  14. SOEbuc Says:

    Bucschamp

Oh yeah. I said third and short. That was f#cking two points!!! Woozy.

  15. Captain Dan Lawrence Says:

Maybe the most one-sided reffing I’ve ever seen! Yes we committed several holding penalties, but they almost never called it on the Aints when they did the same thing. It was ridiculous.

  16. Winny Testaverde Says:

Bucs did just enough to lose. Hopefully they regroup, get healthy and let this loss fuel them for another championship run. I feel bad for Jamies ( sounds like an ACL )…wasn’t sure that was possible after all of his antics. It would be very Saint-like to bring in Fig Newton.

  17. ModHairKen Says:

    Everyone needs some perspective.

  18. JimmyJack Says:

DBS is right. Brady threw a pick the play before the Saints just couldnt make the play.

Lets face it. Brady made too many mistakes today. 0-3 in turnovers is not going to win you big games…….And its not the end of the World. He had some bad games last year too.

  19. Izod Says:

Yes, Brady has a bad day, especially by his standards, but people are ignoring the fact that this defense is an ABSOLUTE JOKE!

The Saints literally have NOTHING but Kamara. They were playing a sorry 3rd string QB, they have absolutely NO WRs without Michael Thomas and their best TE wouldn’t be a 4th stringers on the Bucs. Yet, they found a way to go up and down the field against this defense.

Even an average NFL defense would’ve been able to bail Brady and the offense out. The Bucs defense has been a joke all year.

  20. DBS Says:

You had the lead and when you absolutely needed your defense to make a stand and give no ground. They SHAT THE BED!!!

  21. Ash Says:

It should have never been close the refs are criminals but the defense is also a joke they were playing so far off they were in different time zones.

  22. Ash Says:

The amount of times I see pass rushers break into coverage instead of rushing the passer is going to give me a stroke.

  23. ClwJB Says:

Game was fixed from the start – refs were a joke – the D was even bigger joke

TB12 heaving junk throws up there

Today made me believe the nfl is just like the WWE folks – it’s all a work

  24. TJ Says:

Brady is overrated…carried by great teams…coddled by the media and worshiped by non-athletes who harbor deep-down, covert, ancient/ancestral hate for the stereotypical athlete…fearful that their women’s natural affinity for the same might well threaten genetic annihilation of their kind. Having this understanding of the Brady-worshipping, Jameis-hating ingrate…I no longer reward you with negativity/discord you seek to conjure by your disillusioned, deranged bias…no, rather I pity you, Jameis Hater…I pity your woefully sad mental & spiritual state. Your unreasonable sensibilities are not merely your fault…your world created you…you need your Goat, like a baby needs his pacifier! Your goat doesn’t suck…YOU DO! Check dem sheets!

  25. Jerry Strickland Says:

The ruffing the passer calls were very questionable. I agree that the calls were all in favor of the Saints. You have to question why there were so many calls favoring the Saints. Makes you wonder huh?

  26. Eddie Marz Says:

The Bucs came back and actually lead. It just seemed like when the defense made a good play they were penalized. We’ll get em’ at home and put The saints away once and for all. GO BUCS!

  27. PassingThru Says:

Brady is only human, he bears responsibility for that last interception. Arians is right, the CB watched his eyes and froze, which is what one of my football coaches called “waiting in the weeds”. On the previous play there was an obvious miscommunication between Brady and Evans, a harbinger that despite the hoopla this team still has chemistry issues.
