B… missing crisp play, Eagles tackling was far superior to the Bucs
    And OH !
There was massive holding on our defensive line, massive!

  2. Medicated Pete Says:

B- only b/c the o-line & d-lines could’ve controlled the whole game if they wanted

  3. Evo Says:

I gave a C-… defense needs to stop shooting itself in the foot. Penalties like yesterday will cost us against average teams. And I saw a Tom brady/ no risk it offense take its foot off the gas. Again letting teams hang around. That could be disastrous against a team with more talent.

You can’t win a super bowl with a defensive effort like that and damn sure won’t win when you aren’t stomping on the other teams throat.

But look hoe spoiled we’ve gotten lol. 3 years ago we couldn’t say these things even if we wanted.

  4. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Wait. We are 5-1 and people are not giving the team an A???

What is wrong with you people?????

Why only regret this season is that my own broadcast schedule keeps conflicting with games. I’m missing games!

  5. B-Bro Says:

I gave a C because of the D back penalties and the O’s lack of scoring and third down conversions that’s going to be required to be Super Bowl repeat winner. The D line and the running game Gets a B.

  6. Bucsfanman Says:

Bonzai- That game should’ve been OVER at halftime. I gave them a ‘B’. The Eagles had no business being within a TD of winning that game.
    Just being critical.

  7. Ed Says:

“A” for hustle and physical play by Bucs. “C” for offensive playcalling.

Resting starters in the 3rd and 4th quarter kept the game close, risky but these guys are older and have to be ready for the second half run. Can’t blame the coaching too much for preserving them.

JPP is not helping team, I would start JTS and rotate JPP in until he is 100%.

Big holes for Fournette in first half. Second half Eagles were playing the run and the Bucs were not throwing on first down whatsoever. Stubborn coaching, those play action passes Brady does get set up by running, thats when most of the big plays are made.

  8. Rico210 aka wutdaBucisthis Says:

    B+
penalties have got to get cleaned up
    Go Bucs

  9. AMI_Chris Says:

And let’s not forget, the Eagles get an “F” for having a horrible offensive game plan.

  10. Bucsfan951 Says:

I gave them a B. Offense sputtered the second half but the defense played great, given the situation with injuries. If the offense would’ve racked up 38, it would’ve been an A for sure. This might be the first time this season the offense was the cause for the grade slide lol

  11. Defense Rules Says:

I was looking for a dominant offensive performance and our Bucs delivered. Bucs dominated the TOP 40 mins to 20 mins. We dominated the offensive snaps 75 – 52. Dominated the 1st downs 27-16. Dominated the total yardage 399 – 213. And obviously we came out on top 28-22.

But we also dominated the penalties: 7 penalties for a total of 120 yards. That’s atrocious. We were dominating at the half 21-7 but then we let them back in the game (Eagles were actually within 1 TD of winning with almost 6 mins left in the 4th qtr). That’s unacceptable. Thankfully Brady & Fournette closed the door after that & the Eagles never got the ball back again (ending the game with 3 kneel-downs on the Eagles 6 yd line was a smart decision by BA … no sense in risking a fumble). We’ve got to do a better job of putting teams away early though; we’ve let teams ‘hang around’ too many times this season already.

  12. Keith Says:

    C.
This game should’ve been blown out and over at the half. Tampa turned into powder puff geriatrics the 2nd half. There was why to many, “what, why, WTF!’ moments in the 2nd. Brady 4th and 2 over throw to OJ when literally EVERYONE ELSE was open. Pounding Lenny over and over in the 4th. When Rojo was fresh and producing. Brady either pulled a Pete Rose or really F#*ked that thumb up.

  13. Craig Says:

    C+

If the Eagles had any offense at all they might be 4-2. D-line did a lot of chasing and little catching. D-backs could have gone to a bar and been as effective.

I think Brady’s thumb got sore and the offense sputtered.

Not crisp on either side of the ball.

  14. Rod Munch Says:

    I’ll give a B-.

Bucs got up big, then decided to try to run the clock out with 10 mins left in the 3rd quarter, and it nearly caught up with them. They should have scored 50, instead they go into turtle mode.
