Manhandling Edge Rushers

September 13th, 2021

Fun video.

Few things get Joe worked up in the morning like strong coffee and offensive line adult video.

Steven Cheah, a Barstool Sports producer and personality, is a hardcore Bucs fan who likes to Twitter clips of Bucs games from All-22 video. And a piece he slapped on social media this morning really got Joe stoked for more football.

Against the Cowboys last week, we all saw who had time to order a fake tuna sandwich from a chain outfit: park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, helmet-tossing, football-punting, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.

(Does anyone really believe a health freak like Brady eats subpar sandwiches using faux bread often found in yoga mats from a poorly-performing chain joint?)

Cheah offered a clip of Brady’s 47-yard touchdown pass to furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing Antonio Brown late in the first half of last Thursday’s win. Right tackle Tristan Wirfs and left tackle Donovan Smith helped give Brady a perfect pocket.

Wirfs ragdolled Cowboys left edge rusher DeMarcus Lawrence while Smith abused Cowboys right defensive end Dorance Armstrong.

It’s a beautiful thing to watch.

If Brady continues to get protection like this, he is going to carve up defenses all season.

That game seems like 2 weeks ago. I need more bucs football now

  2. Mike Says:

Yep, that was a beautiful job by the O-Line!

  3. Will Says:

Pick your poison on that play. Lenny and Gronk were open as well. Great job!

  4. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Our BEST OT!

  5. Mike C Says:

Pete, what was that about how strong GB is?

  6. Vsyl Says:

Nice observation Will, that’s good to see.

  7. 1Gr8Buc Says:

    @Will
Looks like Godwin was wide open running a deep post as well. That has to concern DCs watching film when the oline owns the dline and the center never even has to touch a guy and you have 4 receivers open at different levels of the field. Good stuff!

  8. SlyPirate Says:

I saw wirfs get beat a couple of times. TB12’s fast release bailed him out.

The oline is good but TB12 makes them look great.

  9. zzbuc Says:

Slypirate…..I would agree that TB mes them look good, but let me add, the OL makes TB look good to…reciprocity!!!, Sometimes seems TB 12 has enough time to cook a barbecue in the pocket….Again, I think si a mutual colaboration…..
I saw the game to more time over the weeckend…..If you have a chance to watch it again, pay atention to Vita Vea……that guy is from another planet……..Never ever saw something like that….He can easily move two guys like if they were mosquitos…..is unreal…..

  10. Joe in Michigan Says:

Let me guess… Dooosh won’t watch the video because “The Durable One” looks good in it, or complain because D Smith only blocked one Cowboy on the play.

Talent and great coaching creating a solid wall to protect Brady.

With the his work environment Brady might retire when he is 50.

    Go Bucs!!!

  12. Going for ✌️In a row Says:

    Working

  13. Tampabaybucfan Says:

What a great Oline…….one has to wonder why they can’t seem to block for a running back (any running back) on first downs up the middle…..

Hey Byron…..do you think that’s because they are looking for the run?…..how about a few play action passes on first down.

Folks….we are still trying the old 1st down up the middle…..SMH

    @Mike C

I’m glad Green Bay lost & looks like last years MVP has mentally checked out. You wanna play against a lesser QB in the playoffs and before that game, no one would say JW was better than Rodgers

  15. FIRETHECANNONS Says:

My favorite part is Jensen looking for something the smash and never gets the chance and kinda looks a little sad at the end of the play lol

  16. Christopher Schiefen Says:

Wasn’t that the point of the Sub ad? That Tom Brady basically likes the smell of the new bread and that’s it? ☺️

  17. Defense Rules Says:

TBBF … You got me curious with your run on 1st down comment. In our 13 drives, Bucs ran on 1st down on the first 5 drives. On those first 5 drives BTW, Bucs got a total of 16 yds running the ball (5-5-3-2-1 … not a very good progression). And oh ya, got credit for fumbling the ball away on the last run. Never ran it again on 1st down Thurs night.

Got the feeling that BA (or Brady) said ‘BL knock that crap off’ after that because Brady passed on 1st down on the next 8 drives. Of course, on the first drive that Brady passed on 1st down Fournette batted it up in the air & Dallas intercepted, so there’s that. Sometimes Lady Luck plays for the other team.

  18. Biff Barker Says:

First we have man wannabe purple haired angry Megan Rapinoe selling you a wannabe sandwich which many athletes would gag on.
Next we have Tom Terrific peddling the same wannabe sandwich since angry woke lesbian got the boot.
Health nut Tommy wouldn’t eat a Subway tuna if he was starving. Hypocrite Tommy!
Maybe “choose fresh” pedophile Jared rots in prison. Maybe that perv should have chosen not quite as fresh. lol
All things considered, I’ll just grab a peanut butter sandwich at home.

    Joe in Michigan,

Life must be pretty boring for you, but I am flattered that you are always thinking of me.
    😘🥰

  20. Joe in Michigan Says:

    Hahahaha, good one, Dooosh!

  21. BucP Says:

Can’t call it fake tuna. Reading is fundamental.
