I gave them a flat c. I was there last night, surrounded by some annoying Cowboys fans. By the end of the game I almost wanted us to win more to gloat in their stupid faces than for our actual record. I’m only kidding a little. On the plus side, winning a game where you were clearly outplayed with all of the turnovers and first downs and completed passes, that was a good thing. I still don’t think Dallas will be any good. I think they amped it up big time for us and I do think they had a good game plan. Basically throw short passes to the sidelines and hope are defensive backs don’t press. And we did not disappoint them, haha. Add in a stunning inability to get pressure on the quarterback and there you have it.

  2. Medicated Pete Says:

A or B is unacceptable. I hope you run a business b/c i wanna work for you hahahahahahahahahaha

  3. DoooshLaRue Says:

    C
We did about half of the things we needed to do well.

  4. SteveK Says:

    C-

Concentration for Wrs and Rbs needed.

    Line, Brady looked great.

I hope this first game was an nice way to knock the dust off, get back into football shape and come out firing in week 2.

  5. Craig Says:

O>C Kellen will be a head coach before BL. His game plan took the D-line out.

    Where was Mike Evans?

  6. Knucknbuc Says:

Pathetic performance I gave them a c- and I was considering a d only reason why is they won. But the cowboys throughly outplayed them on national tv. 2nd corner needs figured out quick because Sean burnt toast Murphy and jamel bbq chicken dean were awful. Oh and leornard fournete can’t catch… why are we motioning him out like a we when he can’t? Run game non existent. Throw to mike evans he’s pretty good. Was a terrible performance tbh this poll woulda been F if succop doesn’t hit a fg or if cowboys kicker wasn’t reincarnated Roberto aguyo. Oh and what the hell is with Godwin fumbling the ball all the time? Anyone happy with that performance last night is fooling themselves almost full on embarrassed in the home opener. Trust me I was at the game

  7. VA Tom Says:

No Brady, no Gronk, no Brown then we’d be losing. Licht and Arians are so friggin lucky Brady came here and brought those 2. Godwin is amazing. Evans? Man, I love the guy… but sheesh. He makes the single coverage of Godwin and Brown possible but yikes. When Brady leaves Licht and Arians both better retire to place hold their legacy, cuz Brady has done the work.

Todd Bowles… did you not expect passing? The 2nd ary. Please Carlton Davis… You’re FAR from the best in the NFL. And we see why Jamel Dean is picked on. Dude can streak, but he can’t turn and look.

I know I’m over reacting. But wow, Brady goes down, may as well pack up the season.

  8. Kobe Faker Says:

“Tom Brady aka offensive coordinator and playcaller A+

    Byron Leftover Sandwich F+

again the seasons future success relies on unplugging the headset of this bewildered clown”

    Kobe Faker

  9. Medicated Pete Says:

Hall of Famer, Shannon Sharpe just just Mike Evans & Tom Brady have no chemistry. He’s 100% correct

  10. ben Says:

The bucs were lucky more then good. It felt great to be in a full stadium with the crowd yelling and most by far were buc fans !!

  11. Rico 210 Says:

    C- for the team
    But…
    20-0 till it ain’t so
    Go Bucs

  12. D-Rome Says:

B-. I will never vote C or below on a Bucs win.

  13. D-Rome Says:

Steven007, what frustrates me about Cowboys fans at the stadium is that most of them have never been within 200 miles of the state of Texas.

  14. adam from ny Says:

    gave them a B…

    because it’s week one…gotta give them a little slack…

if not for week one i would graded them down one or two more grades, like many people have…

also the players looked gassed a lot, and often…

hopefully it’s just week one cobwebs

  15. Steven007 Says:

Rome, you know it man. Listen, I travel to other stadiums and have for quite a while. I’m respectful of the fact that I’m in their house. I merely ask for that respect in return. When I don’t get it, that’s when I become one of those home fans that visitors like to think is antagonistic. Probably helps that I have a formidable presence and don’t shy away from utilizing that when I give it back to them. I usually very gently tell them, “you are in my house and you need to be respectful or we’re going to give it back to you times 10 all game long…” They generally become very respectful.

  16. Tbbucs3 Says:

Time to start holding open DB tryouts at OneBucPalace.

  17. Buc50 Says:

It’s a D for me. If not for Brady and Gronk, we would have been blown out.

  18. Bucsfanman Says:

Overall B-. There were competing grades for all different kinds of things. Consider that if we remove the TOs, I’m not sure that Dallas is even close. With all the issues, our offense moved the ball well. Defensively, it was a mixed bag.
A win is a win so nothing below a C.

  19. Buc4evr Says:

B- Turnovers, poor CB play and the D line struggled. Bucs should have scored 14 more points but they still won, so B- Lots of things to work on before Atlanta.

  20. SB~LV Says:

    B-

  21. Rod Munch Says:

    Brady gets an A+
    Gronk gets an A+

The rest of the team gets a D+

    So I’d say overall a C.

  22. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I gave them an A. Why?

Because traditionally the Bucs come out flat in the first game of the season. It was a great game.

I had to watch it muted because I was doing a live broadcast at the time, but I still enjoyed it.

  23. Rod Munch Says:

I should do a live broadcast during the game as well. People love my running commentary in the gameday thread and I’m clearly the most knowledgeable person on this site.

Hey Joe, you should post a poll asking if I’m the peoples fav poster. I’m pretty sure I’d win by at least 70pts, in fact I don’t even know who 2nd place could possibly be.

Maybe the Ghost of Howard Cosell guy, but that’s only because he’s getting some name recognition.

  24. Red86 Says:

I gave it a B. A fun and entertaining game to the last second. Hopefully Hagan Delaney and or Hamilton will get a call to play. Dean is clearly a weak link. Better than Myron Rolle and Sabby. Dean is going to cost us games if he doesn’t step up his play. I’m sure the offense is going to cleanup the turnovers.

  25. Buczilla Says:

B- for me. Letting a barely above average qb like Dak own them, nets our pathetic secondary an F. Beg borrow and steal for a decent corner, or work your magic please Mr. Bowles. We could have very easily lost that game to a team that will be damn lucky to get 7 wins this year.

  26. David Says:

If you get the win, it’s got to at least be a B-

For turnovers, 11 penalties was it?, DB issues covering…

Regardless, the defense made some stops when they had to and the offense put up 31 points and they got the win

  27. Bush's Coke Spoon Says:

    B-

Looks like we’ve got special teamers finally who understand what “stay in your lane” means. Mickens’ above average return day was icing on the cake. The defense will be ok like they were last year. I have a feeling Dak may be a little bit better than we thought, and the Dallas OL is usually good.
