“I Think Brady Is Coming In Dialed-In”

September 8th, 2021

“I’m looking at you, Dak.”

Joe has always believed that good guy Peter Schrager is a closet Bucs fan.

No one at the breakfast table of “Good Morning Football,” seen weekday mornings on NFL Network, seems to know as much about the Bucs or hype the Bucs as much as Schrager.

Even in the dark, dark days of the 2010s, Schrager always found a reason to get pumped for the Bucs. So in discussing tomorrow night’s season opener at the Stadium on Dale Mabry Highway, Schrager said he can’t deal with it. He can’t abide by the rules of NFL Network or dictates of NBC, which will broadcast the game. Schrager said he cannot say with a straight face tomorrow night’s opener will be a good game.

He believes the Bucs are going to curb stomp the Cowboys and that quarterback Dak Prescott is going to be sacrificed to the sharks known as the Bucs defense.

Yes, Schrager says the Bucs defense is just going to feast on the Cowboys.

For evidence, Schrager helped design a graphic of the Bucs’ two-deep roster of defensive linemen and linebackers, and he basically asked how do you keep the Bucs defense from not dominating?

As for the Bucs’ offense, Schrager said, “I think [Tom] Brady is coming in dialed-in.”

You can see the discussion in the NFL Network video below.

  4. 1sparkybuc Says:

American Joe is an upgrade over Putin’s puppet.

  5. Lefty Says:

@1sparkybuc, by upgrade – you mean exponentially worse, right? Please name something-anything that stumblin bumblin Joe has done right, or good for the country. Seriously.

  6. Stanglassman Says:

It’s so weird to hear to national media rattle of the entire Bucs DL. They usually know one maybe two names and quickly dismiss them and say the other team will win.

  7. 1sparkybuc Says:

@Lefty, I count myself among the 81 million Americans who don’t hold their political affiliation above their country or one pathetic excuse for a human being. A fan of a team is one thing. A member of a cult is quite another. I don’t support traitors or criminals.

  8. Rayjay1122 Says:

Gotta love when politics hijacks Bucs threads. That being said, there are 2 major problems with this country and those 2 things are Dems and Reps. None of them are remotely competent. Joe and Donald suck.

  9. Infomeplease Says:

Skip the politics *icks!!!!!! IT’S GAME TIME!!! GO BUCS!!!

  10. PSL Bob Says:

Seriously? Did you not just watch the clip Joe posted? Damn guys, football starts tomorrow. Not 2 weeks away. Not 5 days away. Tomorrow! GO BUCS!

  11. Court XXXVII Says:

PLEASE KEEP POLITICS OUT OF IT. Gooooooo Bucs!!!

  12. SlyPirate Says:

    An aside Joe …

You’re getting redundant with “curb stomp”. Three articles in two days. It’s tired. It’s also a disgusting visual from American History X.

    Possible Alternatives
The Bucs are going to (Dominate, Destroy, Annihilate, Lay down the law, Bitch slap, Get medieval on, Rain hellfire and brimstone, Roundhouse nut kick, Go Chuck Norris on) the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday.

  13. Mike C Says:

Awww Sly your feelings get huwt?

  14. Lefty Says:

@1sparkybuc. Very typical.. see what ya did there? Totally avoid the question (because there is no viable response)…but just go ahead and bash the other guy.

  15. Buckaroo Boozie Says:

All politics should be kept out of sports and entertainment…. Go Bucs!!!

Enjoy the escape from the idiocracy!💥🇺🇸👍🏻

Agreed! Unfortunately, this particular Pandora’s box won’t close until these sports learn to ignore the fringe whack jobs on either side constantly stirring the pot. Like everything else that happens in this country, the folks in the middle will ultimately decide when they’ve had enough of the politicking in sports and force a change by spending their dollars elsewhere. I don’t see it happening anytime soon, but it’s inevitable.

  17. DaBux Says:

I predict a curb stomping. No way BA and TB12 don’t have this team ready. Oh, and the defense? They are tired of being mentioned as an afterthought. I hope we sack Dak 10 times to start the season.

  18. unbelievable Says:

    Hey Lefty-

Who finally got an infrastructure bill passed that our country so badly needed?

Hint: it wasn’t your orange cult leader, despite the fact that it was “Infrastructure week” like 2 dozen times during his tenure lol. But hey at least he looked really cool honking the horn in that big truck, amiright?
