Who Gets His First Pro Bowl?

Pro Bowler?

There really is no wrong answer here.

Marc Sessler over at NFL.com listed a player on each NFL team that could make his first Pro Bowl this year. For the Bucs, Joe doesn’t believe there is a wrong answer.

Sessler decided to go with the man who turned into the Tazmanian Devil in the postseason, Bucs inside linebacker Devin White.

White took last year’s Pro Bowl snub to heart before Tom Brady sat him down to talk about what matters most in the NFL: big, shiny trophies. White listened, terrorizing the Saints in the Divisional Round of the playoffs with 11 tackles, a fumble recovery and a pick. One week later, the 2019 first-rounder tallied 15 tackles against the Packers. White’s onslaught crescendoed against the Chiefs with another 12 tackles paired with an interception to help the Bucs win it all. One gets the sense he might look good in a Pro Bowl uniform.

“Onslaught” is the perfect word for what White did to the Saints, Packers and Chiefs when he got back from his two-game quarantine with The Sickness.

Joe has typed this before but it bears repeating: If White’s play last winter is what happens after NFL players get The Sickness, everyone on the Bucs should be exposed to it.

White was a wild man in the playoffs. He was unreal and better than Ray Lewis. That’s right.

Again, there is no wrong answer here. Sessler could have easily selected Tristan Wirfs and he’d be correct as well.

Joe is hoping neither of those two guys, or any other Bucs player, is in this winter’s Pro Bowl. Why is that? Because if a Bucs player appears in this year’s Pro Bowl, that means the Bucs didn’t make it to the Super Bowl.

Who gives a sh!t about the Pro Bowl? GM,coaches, and players vote first and second All American rankings we don’t even want a bullspit game.

45 to the pro bowl for sure. Wirfs will likely get hosed because the talking heads will go with some RT on a team that runs the football. White is also in a better position to make plays.

I believe the Bucs will have at least 5 pro bowl and two all pros next year.

That IS right. In fact, has there ever been a better 4 game stretch by any NFL LB in the playoffs? He singlehandedly changed the momentum in the Saints game.

I saw a thing, forget where, showing the 10 best safeties. Antoine wasn’t in the list, which HAS to hack him off

Rog and the NFL want the Pro Bowl. Players just want the recognition. My idea sounds a lot better than voting players for TV ratings.
