Tom Brady Upgrades To A Yacht

May 4th, 2021

Tom Brady’s new rig. Is Derek Jeter’s dock big enough?

It seems park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady has figured out a way to keep gawkers hovering on Tampa Bay away from his family.

Last year when Brady moved into Derek Jeter’s house, Tampa cops had to use their marine units to shoo away onlookers who floated by Jeter’s waterfront house, hoping they might get a peak of Brady or his wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen.

Well, Brady figured out a cool yet expensive way to keep Peeping Toms away from his family: Buy a boat the size of a billboard.

Per Mike Espindle, writing for Forbes magazine, Brady just dropped $7 million on a rig that is 77-foot long.

Said Brady, in a video appearance at a boat show hosted by the boat’s Dutch manufacturer Wajer, “I enjoyed the waters of New England, but when we moved to Tampa, with its beautiful bay, I said to myself, ‘I need a boat,’” Brady told attendees.

Brady traded in his other boat he owned for less than a year, which was 55-feet long. Brady purchased that rig for $2 million from the same manufacturer, Wajer.

Also in the article, Brady suggested he plans to take his new boat on weekend cruises to the Bahamas and back.

Some of the accommodations include: a 16-foot, 5-inch wide Master Suite mid-ship, a bow Junior Suite with a double bed, and a port-side guest cabin with a queen-size and single bed. All suites have their own lavs and showers. A crew cabin sleeps two. Expect a fully-equipped galley and a below-deck work area, and expect it all to arrive with a modern, light- and dark-wood blend on a minimalist gleaming white interior design approach any luxury boutique hotel would envy (and 7 feet to 7 feet, 9 inches of headroom other boaters will envy).

The boat has a top speed of 37 knots (43 mph).

Other features include:

Spacious circular deck seating, bow deck sun pads, large sofas and an aft al fresco dining area provide ample relaxation for even large groups of passengers. And expect ample stowage for seabobs to electric surfboards, diving to kite boarding gear, and more to join the Williams 325 Jet Tender for water fun off-board.

No word on when Brady will receive the boat. In Florida, boating season is well underway.

    Joe, it’s knots. Not knocks.

  3. Mitch Says:

    Yawn.

  4. DoooshLaRue Says:

I’ve heard of 2 foot-itis in the boating world, where the boat owner has to have a boat that’s just a little bigger than his current craft.

Leave it to Tommy to 10-up that condition!

  5. Medicated Pete Says:

“we’re gonna need a bigger boat”

  6. Kentucky Buc Says:

@Nashvillebuc. It’s knocks. Old lady knocks my boat at least 30-40 times every time we take it out. So I guess Tom and I are on the same knock level.

  7. ben Says:

    We’re gonna need a bigger bay !

  8. SB~LV Says:

Nice ~~~~ wonder if he needs a captain?

  9. Bird Says:

If rich and live in florida. Of course you have a boat. And a nice one at that. Living on the water/ beach can change your life.

Shoot he could take boat from house in tampa to house in miami
Just watch out for those pirates Tommie

  10. Pewtee941 Says:

Is Brady still living at Jeters mansion? I thought he bought a house.

  11. Wesley Says:

He thinks the bay is beautiful? Someone needs to show my man the spots.

  12. Evolvingbucsfan Says:

    a 16-foot, 5-inch wide master suite

5 inch wide? lol skinny people life…..

  13. Shane247 Says:

Probably won’t need to throw the trophy next year.

  14. Jeff Says:

Maybe the government should tax these 1%’s a little higher. They seem to have money to burn.

  15. SKBucsFan Says:

That’s the proof we needed. Nobody buys a $7 million dollar boat plans on leaving when he is done playing. 😛 Now is the time to extend his contract and add a future coaching commitment.
And please Bucs fans do not buy his boat, if he can’t sell it he can’t move.

    LOL!

One would think that NY and Ca. would do what Fl. has done. No income tax! Hell the $$$$$$ he saves on taxes will pay for his BIGGER BOAT!!!! Ok, back to NY and Ca. You can’t fix stupid

  18. SOEbuc Says:

Wow. EXTRA! EXTRA! BILLIONAIRE BUYS YACHT! Do they even stay at Jeters house anymore? I thought I heard they moved to a more secluded place in Clearwater. Much nicer than the horrific south tampa traffic and the beautiful stink of Hillsborugh Bay at low tide.

  19. SOEbuc Says:

    Medicated Pete

Mr Vaughn, I pulled a tooth the size of a Brady Super Bowl ring out of the hull of that boat lol.

    That’s a big fish.

  20. Buc You Says:

cruises to the Bahamas on a weekend. ?

A 21/2 to 31/2 hr. trip to the Keys would be easier. A trip to the Bahamas would be about 6 or 7 hrs. and a whole lot of fuel.

  21. DoooshLaRue Says:

    SOE,

I didn’t realize TB and Jizz-L were billionaires.
Where is that info coming from?

  22. Joe Says:

    DoooshLaRue:

Brady might be. His wife is worth hundreds of millions and Brady isn’t exactly a pauper. Joe has talked with business people who have dealt with Brady and he is a very, very acute and savvy businessman who doesn’t waste time with chump change dealings.

Liquid? The Bradys are likely not worth a billion. Net? The Bradys might be. Let’s just say Brady doesn’t have to worry about paying his water bills.

  23. Show Me the TDs Says:

That boat will look awesome during next year’s Superbowl parade!

  24. Buc4evr Says:

Wow nice yacht, but I’d rather have a Nordhaven 86 for that kind of money… But I guess the Wajer goes with the Miami lifestyle…

  25. BA4President Says:

    Agreed @showmethetds

    __________

    I make 80-90k a year and have a 30k boat.
By your rationale I’m way more ridiculous than Tommy if you do the math!

  30. Tampa Brady Fan Says:

Apparently, it’s good to be the GOAT. 🐐

  31. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Someone needs to learn what reading and comprehending means. I might be wrong but I don’t see anywhere Joe wrote the word knocks in this article. Funny some people can’t wait to prove someone wrong so bad that they make themselves out to be the fool.

  32. Joe Q Says:

Brady should name the new boat #8. Go TB!!!

  33. MadMax Says:

NICE!!! Ive been looking at yachts myself (much smaller though lol). Its something to think about when I eventually retire and move to Florida…Ormond beach is my spot, love Tampa too of course.

  34. Bbro Says:

You can’t take it with you so enjoy it now 😉

  35. DaBux Says:

Nice rig! That’s a very nice yacht and is very well built. Good choice.

  36. Vanquished Says:

Looks nice. Not my cup of tea though. If I were gonna drop 7 mil on a yacht I’d get one with more space over speed (that’s what the jetskis are for, lol)
