Tom Brady And Bruce Arians Top Duos

May 26th, 2021

Tommy, we’re going to light people’s arses on fire.”

With OTAs in full swing, for those who show up, it gives a chance for football fans to start debating the best the NFL has to offer.

And the Bucs are in the middle of that conversation.

Earlier this week on “Good Morning Football,” seen weekday mornings on NFL Network, the gang sat around the breakfast table virtually to debate who is the best quarterback-head coach duo in the NFL.

Closet Bucs fan Peter Schrager suggested it’s Pat Mahomes and Andy Reid. Joe has to be honest; that’s a good selection.

James Palmer would have none of it.

He was of the mind the best quarterback-coach pairing is right here in Tampa Bay. And this season they’ll prove it, Palmer said.

“I’m going to say Bruce Arians and Tom Brady going into Year 2,” Palmer began. “There are members of that coaching staff that thought going into the Super Bowl, they were still maybe eight games away — that was in the mind of quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen.

“They didn’t think they were anywhere near where they could be when they were finishing out the season.

“Now with a full offseason together and Antonio Brown for the full season. … All of these weapons that they have. Everyone returning. … things could be just unbelievable.”

Joe tends to agree. The way that offense hummed after the bye and for Christensen to claim it hadn’t reached its peak just makes Joe’s mouth water.

Throw in the fact O.J. Howard and Antonio Brown could be around for a full season? Watch the eff out, NFL!

The Bucs chatter begins at the 1:16 mark of the segment below. Also, watch how Shaun O’Hara tries to make the case for Matt Ryan and Arthur Smith. LOL

    JOE !!!!
You absolutely must post Brady‘s Twitter jab at A-Aron regarding their upcoming golf match. It is epic!
    😂 😂

.. i like what J thinks Mr. Magoo is telling TB12:
“Tommy, we’re going to light people’s arses on fire.”
    very funny, J. 🤣😂😜🤣

Sean is a boob. Every time he has a chance, he disrespects the Bucs. Seems the only remedy is to win another SB and show him he doesn’t know Sheet.

Palmer is right. Even though the Chefs 👨‍🍳 got better on the O-line, the rest of the league now has the blueprint to beat them. As far as the dirty birds… no way once Julio is gone. Kyle Pitts isn’t going to save them in his first year.

  5. Mike Says:

It’s pretty much Brady and whoever his coach is…. 🙂

  6. mark2001 Says:

Maybe Sean doesn’t like the way we dealt with a former Rutgers coach. Don’t really know… but he has something against the Bucs.

The Joes are not golf people.

  8. Mitch Says:

Atlanta could have a very dynamic offense this year. I would be more concerned if Buc killer Julio was going to be playing for them this year. Fingers crossed he gets traded anywhere but 49ers or Seahawks.

  9. JimmyJack Says:

Not a bad debate but i think they are all wrong. Best tandem might proove to be Sean Peyton and Jamies Winston.

Now that Brady has taught Arians how to coach….. Sky is the limit

Now that the coach has a QB that doesn’t need training wheels sky is the limit.
Oops I meant that doesn’t need google!

Let’s see: best QB, best OL, best WR’s, best TE’s, best DL, best LB’s….

This is the first Bucs team I can remember with genuine depth. I’ve lost track at WR…ME..CG…AB…and then Johnson and Scottie…TE even worse…Gronk…Brate…and now the return of OJ and Tanner Hudson playing lights out in the OTA’s.

Depth on the DL..LB’s..DB’s…OL…RB out the wazoo…where are we thin?

  16. David Says:

I know Joe but it’s about Brady talking trash to A-ARon.
I saw you posted anyway. Kudos

    AND HOW ABOUT THEM

    LIGHTNING!!!!!

    @David

Yeah go Bolts. We are so blessed to be Tampa Sports fans right now. We get to see the GOAT at QB lead a defending SB team.

And we get to see…to soon to bestow GOAT but clearly the best goalie in the world right now lead the defending Stanley Cup Champs to a repeat.

Tell ya what though David…Florida has a very talented young team with a promising 20 year old goalie…this could be a true rivalry at last and for the next decade.
