White’s always a fun interview, even when he’s not really saying anything of substance.
The Buccaneers’ savior linebacker joined an official team YouTube pre-draft show presented by an awful-tasting beer, one that’s actually a similar watery beer product of another team sponsor. (Greed is good at One Buc Palace.)
In this show, White talked about how his good friend, Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, was so fired up to be drafted by the defending champs a year ago. And White added that’s a rough spot for a rookie because the daily expectation and accountability level is so high on a Super Bowl team.
White noted that anything less than another Super Bowl for the Bucs will be a disappointment because all the key players are back. And to anyone who thinks 2021 Bucs rookies will be able to relax and learn behind great veterans, White says that’s nonsense.
“It’s going to be a lot of pressure on all the rookies that we get,” White said. “You know, B.A. always preaches that he brings guys in to play. He don’t bring’em in to sit and wait.”
White says he’ll be all over rookies again from Day 1, like he was last season with Antonio Winfield, Jr. Pumping up rookies with confidence is key, White said, noting that the team should expect to need them.

The only guy that I would expect to not see in-season game action, would be Trask….If he’s called on to play this year, then something went terribly wrong.

That would be incredibly awesome if we were up so much in several games that we could just sit Brady for the 4th quarter!!!! 🙂

SlyPirate…. There will be some blowouts for sure, all the better for Trask and the 2-3 year wait to get the keys to the car. I agree he could get action in at least 4 blowouts, and I see action in 7-8 games in total during 17 game regular season. GO BUCS!!!
