Five Bucs Night Games; Three At Home

May 12th, 2021

The nation will once again get to savor the Buccaneers, and home fans will enjoy a few late nights.

The full Bucs schedule is below but for this post Joe is highlighting the five night games.

Thursday, Sept 9 — DALLAS
Sunday, Oct. 3 — at New England
Thursday, Oct. 14 — at Philadelphia
Monday, Nov 22 — NY GIANTS
Sunday, Dec. 19 — SAINTS

The opener is self explanatory, a beautiful thing for Bucs fans. The season-opener against a meh team and the Bucs get a mini-bye that weekend before a Week 2 home game against the Dixie Chicks.

Heading to New England on Oct. 3 for the Brady circus game will be a wild affair. It’s also a back-to-back road game for the Bucs after heading to the Rams in Week 3. Yes, Joe expects the Bucs to be 3-0 when they arrive at the Belicheats.

The Giants in Week 11 on Monday Night Football at The Licht House feels like a good fit. The Bucs will be two weeks out of their bye and likely still very fresh.

Sunday, Dec. 19 against the Saints is intriguing to Joe. It comes a week after the Bucs host the Bills. If the Bucs lose to the Bills, it could be a situation where there Bucs are in must-win mode against New Orleans to lock down the NFC South crown. And it’s a good chance Carlton Davis or Jordan Whitehead could be in line to pick Jameis Winston off for the 20th time in the 2021 season.

Joe is fired up!

Less than four months, people. Stock up early on Big Storm Beer.

For the first time in almost 20 years, I wonder if I will be able to get tickets to a game or two anywhere other than end zone seats). That’s OK. 🤔

Obviously, I possess no season ticket rights. It’s going to be a great season no matter what! 🤩

  2. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

I’m not convinced we beat the Rams in LA, but I sure hope we do. Brady isn’t going to lose to New England though and Jay Miss has zero chance here on December 19th, if he is even the starter then.

  3. Medicated Pete Says:

1 cold weather game. We seem to get lucky w/ that

  4. MadMax Says:

    I see W’s everywhere!

    Like Skip said, 20-0

(sorry, getting a little ahead of meself lol)

  5. David Says:

I’m surprised there’s only one Monday night game but I guess Monday night isn’t what it used to be

  6. bojim Says:

    The Giants? pfft

  7. Howard Cosell Says:

Howard forgot about the Hoodie in all the hysteria that was the last year.
Hoodie can not be happy at all about the way things have transpired and now
he has a chance to redeem himself.

  8. Beej Says:

I just sent request for the Bills game…hoping to drive down from VA with a Bills fan for that one, can’t see prices yet

  9. SB~LV Says:

JimBob .. IMO the end zone is the only place to watch a game.. yeah it kinda sucks from the far 30 in but you can still see the plays developing much better than a side view. Anything coming towards you it unbelievable! The same angle coaches and players watch

  10. Patrianakos Says:

One Thursday game on four days’ rest.
    I hate these short weeks.

  11. cmurda Says:

Yes, Joe expects the Bucs to be 3-0 when they arrive at the Belicheats.

Knock it off Joe. That’s the kiss of death. With that said, I expect the same.

  12. Buczilla Says:

“And it’s a good chance Carlton Davis or Jordan Whitehead could be in line to pick Jameis Winston off for the 20th time in the 2021 season.”

Jameis’s new offense simply cannot compare to what he had here with us, so he could very well be at 30 plus picks by then.

  13. Wesley Says:

Night games blow. Why do people like prime time games?

  14. David Says:

    I see potential losses:
    @ Rams
    @ Colts
    Buffalo

IF they get to the last few weeks with only 2 losses, I see them potentially losing one of the games to Carolina because
-Same opponent in a 15 day span.
    -Division rival.
-They might be resting anyone who is slightly nicked up.

    So I guess I have a bout 14 -3.

The reality though, the offense and defense could and should be better. They have the potential to go undefeated and have a historic season.

They always schedule 1 divisional team twice in the last 3 weeks.
    Sucks for Carolina

  16. Buc1987 Says:

Man ….getting this Brady sure has been fun.

  17. Topdoggie Says:

Might be nice for fans who don’t have to work fir a living. Trying to watch a late game and get up 5 hours later for work sucks. One or two a vacation day 5 hell no. Throw in the SB and dang. Should have lived on the west coast. Schedule is based on them.

  18. Buckaroo Boozie Says:

Shot beer out my nose reading referral to Hot (mess) Lanta as dixie chicks…Lol

    Good one Joe

  19. Buckaroo Boozie Says:

Hope they let Brady flip coin in Foxborb…

Imagine TB12 headbutting Slater yelling “Let’s Go”

    Then grabbing microphone and saying,
“I love ya, New England…. but it’s a Pirates Life for me !”

    Go Bucs! 51-17
