Rob Gronkowski Says He Loves “The Freedom” In Tampa

January 29th, 2021

As Rob Gronkowski tries to win his fourth Super Bowl ring in nine short days, he took a break today to reflect on the very different atmosphere with his new team.

Football life under Bucco Bruce Arians is very different than it was in New England.

Speaking on SiriusXM NFL Radio this afternoon, Gronk talked about Arians and Bill Belichick having “totally different approaches to the media” and player behavior.

“Coming here, it’s a complete 180, for sure, totally different,” Gronk said. “I mean, I feel like the biggest difference is just having the freedom of being yourself in this organization.”

However, with Tom Brady in town, Gronkowski said he knew in advance that all-things football at One Buc Palace would be extraordinarily serious and Gronk said that was his first priority in returning to football.

“Every day is championship-level preparation,” he said of life with the Bucs.

Joe can only wonder what “the freedom of being yourself” will look like next season when The Sickness rules evaporate. Joe can only imagine how much fun might have with fans at training camp and off the field.

You mean to say playing football doesnt have to be like military bootcamp? I bet Gronk and Brady feel like kids out there now.

  2. SB Says:

Don’t you mean “ If the sickness rules evaporate”?

  3. I CARE NOW Says:

@SB No, like what Trump said, “one day this will all just disappear”. And it is, RAPIDLY. Like somehow Joe’Bama is a walking cure in DC.

    HMMMMMMMM

  4. OBF Says:

I’ll comment on his return next week

  5. Buc50 Says:

This thing is here to stay. People don’t want to wear face coverings or social distance. People don’t want to get a vaccine either, pretty sad really.

  6. SB Says:

No, it is not rapidly disappearing at all. Media coverage is rapidly disappearing of it. Meanwhile it is morphing and mutating

  7. Youngbucs Says:

Buc50 that’s because some fool turned not wearing a mask into a political statement. Glad he’s out!

  8. Jmarkbuc Says:

    SB

Not to worry… we’re gonna zap it with Jewish space lasers.

  9. Liaastnfrmafar Says:

Gronks last game prior to joining the Bucs was was SB victory and that wasn’t enough fun for him to return. I can hear the call from Brady. TOM: Hey Rob this place is the balls, you gotta to get down here. With the guys on this team we can kick some ass and the women they are hot. Listen Bud, no more lights out at 7:30 and duct tape across your lips during interviews and if you have a disagreement with one of your coaches you won’t be punished and sit out a SB. One thing we have to teach these guys how to win. GRONK: Ok Tom, I couldn’t sell that CBD stuff anyway. Oh and I don’t think FOX wants me back.

    If.Gronk isn’t having fun, he ain’t playing!

  10. I CARE NOW Says:

@Buc50 your right. The Flu is here to stay. What exactly is Pretty sad? That people are to lazy to “follow the science” and “research” this entire “pandemic”. The proof is available, this was used as a political tool. “Come on Man”. Its not hard to see even if it is hard to hear that we have all been played. Not like its the first time the government has lied to the people. Seek and you shall find. Otherwise stop repeating your uninformed opinion and the lie that MSM has taught you to repeat. Do your own research. Oh and if you think the vaccine is safe. Go find out what Bill Gates, a software developer who stole his tech turn medical adviser for vaccines has to say about you. Its right there for you to find. From his lips to your ears. Just look for yourself at what is happening in the world, for the love of God I beg you to wake up.

You can thank me later but we be arguing.

  11. I CARE NOW Says:

    wont be arguing.*

Thank you for letting me have my opinion. That is my first amendment right and last I check the only one the can take that from me is Big Tech and The Media.

I do respect your opinion too. We can agree to disagree if you would like.

    Go Bucs

I would love to be a fly on the wall seeing Belicheat trying to reign him in.

BB’s seat has been ice cold for years….may get warmer than its ever been…

    GO BUCS!!!!

  14. james west Says:

what makes you think next seasons covid rules are going to be relaxed, i do not concure, in fact i think they will be even more draconian

  15. james west Says:

so enjoy this season folks, because we just do not know, where we going to be, by next years OTA’s, mini camp, training camp, preseason and what not

  16. Buddhaboy 19 Says:

The virus is lame, i have it right now. It is like a bad cold or mild flu. Really just a nuisance.

Its not about that, it is being used to user in the great reset –> fancy new word for NWO New world order.

    Bend over ditches

  17. I CARE NOW Says:

@james, couldn’t agree more. “Life has a funny way of working things out”.

  18. Liaastnfrmafar Says:

Can we just address the topic versus guessing what covid will bring next year? There was a post earlier that got real ugly when politics were brought up. Thank you!

  19. Mr no rings Says:

“The sickness” as Joe puts it will NOT be gone next year…. Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to your new normal. This is the way they control the masses and once they have control they will never release it!

  20. Godlovesbucs Says:

So he made 11 mil this year. Love him and it was worth it, but not next year with cap issues. Question is, can you get him and AB for that same 11 mil? They have both been rumored to want to come play here again (with brady). Those 2 combining for that money would be worth it IMO. Still have to find a way to keep godwin and barrett tho. Only so much money to go around.

  21. Tom Sumner Says:

    KEEP GOING!!!! LFG!!! TB12..87…TEAM!!

  22. Bucsfan951 Says:

I wonder if Brady regrets not leaving New England sooner 🤷🏻‍♂️

  23. windbaggery Says:

There are some crazy effed up people here. Covid deniers, believing it’s all cooked up to control the masses… You’re not that different from the boobs (terrorists) who stormed the Capitol building over the Big Lie that the election was stolen. You’re in a cult. Trump jihadists.

    @I CARE NOW
Clearly, you don’t. You can’t call other people uninformed when you’re getting your information from MAGAmedia and conspiracy (disinformation) sources. Friggin’ whackjobs.

^^ This is why whackjob fake-patriot terrorists invade the Capitol. Cultish commitment to conspiracy theory. Country has gone nuts.

  25. Winny Testaverde Says:

I love that this takes some of the shine off the Belicheat aura. He’s obviously an excellent coach…but his arrogance is offensive and his girlfriend is a dunce trying to protect him on social media. Brady > Belicheat

  26. tbbucs3 Says:

    Windbaggery

    Might wanna turn off CNN

  27. Greg Says:

Boy, that spun off topic. I am thrilled to have Gronk and TB here to change this culture ( Bucs 🙂 ) and transform this franchise. This will resonate beyond this year and I am stoked! Go Bucs!

  28. gp Says:

Considering that the current party has as one of it’s most immovable planks the right to merder(on purpose) unborn children…
It seems odd to me that they call conservatives “cultists”
    Just sayin

  29. Jmarkbuc Says:

Watch out for the space lasers.,..

    Just sayin

  30. gp Says:

There is one thing I agree with you on windy
    This country HAS gone nuts!

  31. Joe Says:

Nah, we’re shutting this down. There are other sites you can argue politics on. — Joe.
