Kay Adams Banking On Jason Pierre-Paul

January 30th, 2021

All-in on JPP.

So what player is going to beast out in Super Bowl LV? That’s what the gang of “Good Morning Football” tried to figure out.

Once in a while, closet Bucs fan Peter Schrager has to make it look like he’s not a Bucs homer. So he chose a Chiefs corner.

Kyle Brandt? He believes Vita Vea will HAM on the Chiefs’ offensive line and is begging for Bucco Bruce Arians to use Vea in a goal-line package as a fullback on offense.

Nate Burleson went off the grid and said Bucs offensive coordinator Bryon Leftwich will call a perfect game and become a household name on Sunday night.

NFL Network’s it-girl Kay Adams? She’s putting her money on Jason Pierre-Paul to rock Patrick Mahomes a few times.

“I think he is going to be a huge factor against the Chiefs offensive line that’s going to be playing without both starting tackles,” Adams said. “If it isn’t for [JPP], isn’t Brady chasing his eighth ring?”

Of course, JPP hounded park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking Bucs quarterback Tom Brady in Super Bowl XLVI when the Giants beat the Belicheats.

Joe also thinks both JPP and Shaq (and indirectly, Vea) will take full advantage of the injuries to the Chiefs’ front line.

You can watch the full discussion of JPP, Leftwich and Vea in the NFL Network video below.

And lay off Kay for wearing a Chiefs sweatshirt! She wore a Bucs sweatshirt on Thursday.

Suh. Shaq. JPP. Carlton Davis. White. David. SMB.

Mahomes will be flattened. He’s not well.

The Saints game JPP game saving play probably was that trip on Kamera.

    they’re all wearing dark sunglasses…

the producer of the show must be a big blues brothers fan:

“It’s 106 miles to Tampa, we’ve got a full tank, half pack of cigarettes, it’s dark out, and we’re wearing sunglasses. Hit it.”

  8. Bird Says:

Still waiting for Kay to bank on my goody bag 😂

They have been showing all the games of bucs and chiefs this week
Of course i rewatched all buc games

    Watched a little of chiefs
Mahommes will be in shotgun / spread look and noticed how fast the ball is snapped and ball is out of his hands. Plus he is extremely mobile. Even more then rodgers. Hope bucs are ready for this cause Andy reid knows his oline cannot handle the likes of suh , vea , jpp and barret. Especially with chiefs 2 tackles down for the count.

In all honestly, Buc fans should really appreciate this dline. Vea was out most of year. Suh even gave kudos to vea for coming back cause he was getting all the double teams. When jpp is healthy (ier) , it is pretty bad arse. 2 mamouths on the inside and two savages on the outside who can get double digit sacks.

Again, vea will be able to play a more normal 50 + or so snaps i would think with these extra 2 weeks. Hope they are ready for those double hand offs on the outside cause lets face it …its hard to run up gut against bucs with their size in middle and speed at linebacker

    Go bucs!

I would rather the attention be focused on KC and how good the Mahomes, Hill, Kelcie combo is and how can Brady keep up. Bucs stay under the radar and do their thing.

Man, she used to be soooo much hotter. What happened to her?

  11. gp Says:

I’m thinking(hoping) that all four of our front line defense at least share in a sack each. Add to that multiples for the outside guys and Whit and David are welcome to partake as well.
Long and short, I really want to see Mahomie spend most of the game on his a$$, either on the bench or on the turf!
I honestly think that, at full strength, our line(def) beats their line(off) every day of the week and ALL DAY Sunday!
And their defense(not as stingy as ours) will not be able to contain our(equally) explosive offense when it’s at full strength too.
Still a high scoring game and I’m expecting we win by at least 7

  12. Beej Says:

They need to slut her up a little bit

I LOVE playing the prediction game!

Last week before the NFC championship game, I predicted that SHAq Barrett would sack Aaron Rodgers 3 times en route to a Bucs victory….BINGO!

In Super Bowl LV I’ve got a pair of Buc defenders, and 3 offensive weapons, who I think will carry the Bucs to victory! On defense, it’s time for N. Suh to turn up the nasty level and live in the Chiefs backfield! While KC will try to slide protection to the tackles to help slow down JPP and Barrett, Suh and Vea will have the opportunity to get in Mahomes face and disrupt the KC run game all evening. Then Lavonte David will come thru with 10+ tackles, 1 INT and 1 forced fumble to salt the game away.

On offense, Brady (who will have a solid game…23-34 for 284yds and 3 TDs) will make good use of ME13 and CG14, Gronk will continue to be an important blocker….and catch a couple of crucial passes…. but I think the stars of the offense will be Fournette, Cam Brate and Scooter Miller! Brate gets 2 Brady TDs. Scooter with 3 30yd+ Brady long-ball completions to keep the Bucs rolling. And in the 2nd half Fournette scores the winning TD and runs out the clock for the Bucs victory….34-30! Brady gets his 7th ring, the Bucs get their 2nd world championship, and Lavonte David takes home the MVP award!

  14. Jmarkbuc Says:

A defensive MVP with Brady on the field? Interesting.

  20. KC Chief Says:

    Kay is hot. GO CHIEFS!!!

  21. Buxszntkt Says:

KC Chief Suh is gonna stomp on Mahomies turf toe after Vea blasts through your backups in the middle and Shaq and JPP chase him from the edge. I sure hope TB has a plan to shut down Chad Henne. We don’t play backup QB’s very well.

  22. Danny C Says:

Is no coincidence that Vea returns and we all of a sudden get to the QB. His push up the middle doesn’t allow QB’s to step up and both ends meet at the QB. Vea is a huge part of our pass rush, he just doesn’t get the sacks.

  23. James Says:

This specificity should get more attention this week amid all the pressure-fame talk: this healthy D-line might exploit a mismatch with the four second-stingers starting on the KC O-line. Mahomes can only offset so much, and it looks like every player the seven-man frontage for the Bucs are much superior across the board than Mahomes’ protection! Both edges and up the middle at times will see four studs (some combination involving Vea, White, Suh, JPP, David, Barrett and Gholston) bringing the pressure with all five O-lineman, even with help from a RB, outmatched individually and cohesive unit! I don’t want to overestimate, if we knew the gauge fit that, but the tempo of a fans is dictated in the trenches. This specific matchup should by ugly for the Chiefs. This journeyman Remmers was no match for Von Miller in the Super Bowl five years ago! In a rare but s understandable situation, Mahomes might not be able to work his magic. He can extend plays, break out of pressure, and throw dazzling cross-field passes, etc., better than anyone, but this might be too much. He’ll be enveloped! Am I overestimating the Bucs’ ability up front on defense? The Bucs D coaches must be conjuring up all scenarios with confidence – but admonishing the players to not take anything for granted. We’ll see.
