“It Might Have Looked Easy But It Wasn’t Easy”

January 25th, 2021

Explains his big day.

Shaq Barrett is one of Joe’s favorite players. How can you not root for a dude with an infectious smile that clearly loves football, has a kind word for just about anyone, and was a great rags-to-riches story?

So Sunday after the Bucs beat the Packers in the NFC Championship, a game where Shaq came out of hibernation and put Aaron Rodgers on the Lambeau Field turf three times, he did several postgame interviews the field.

One was with Tampa native Erin Andrews of FOX Sports.

Andrews marveled at how Shaq dominated in one of the most important games in Bucs history. Shaq had a classic answer.

“It might have looked easy but it wasn’t easy,” Shaq said.

You can see Shaq’s full interview with Andrews in the FOX Sports video below.

Oh, and it sure looks like both of the Chiefs starting tackles will be out for the Super Bowl.

One more dominant game Shaq, and you may be a champion again.

hey joe, could you make a “series”of appreciation posts for every impactful player/coach/executive for this amazing season and super bowl team?

We waited so long for a super bowl team. This squad should be remembered and appreciated.
We do have a complete team, and i feel great about every single one of this players! thanks joe.

Great game, he’s going to get paid this offseason for sure.

  3. Sorryjackchuckiesback Says:

Dude is no doubt a good guy!! … Football aside because sometimes it doesn’t matter how good they are on the field if they are horrible people who cares!! Rogers is a great example and karma came for him once again

  4. Bird Says:

    He almost had 4 sacks

  5. Bird Says:

    Ndog appreciates strong D

  6. David Says:

The chiefs didn’t play with Vita in the middle last time and Shaq and JPP still each had a sack. I don’t think the Chiefs are going to know what hit them.

  7. David Says:

    JOE

On another note, on a social media outlet, there was a picture of three Buccaneers (White, Edwards,SMB) and Michael Thomas… And it just said-
All 3 of these Buc defenders caught more passes from Brees than Michael Thomas
    😂

  8. Joe Says:

All 3 of these Buc defenders caught more passes from Brees than Michael Thomas

    LOL

  9. Bird Says:

Carlton davis had a horrible game against green bay
    He got abused

And they better have safety over top against chiefs speed guy in super bowl.

  10. Jerry Says:

Ticket prices are going astronomical. Two seats is about equivalent to the price of a new car!

  11. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

The impact of the return of Vita Vea can not be overstated.
He made a huge difference in the ability of our guys to sack Rodgers, with his constant push up the middle.

  12. ModHairKen Says:

Pay the man. Buc for life.

  13. VA Tom Says:

Best post-game interview ever. Good job Shaq.

  14. MadMax Says:

  15. 813bucboi Says:

shaq stepped up and showed out….he and JPP….and VV…lol…

    GO BUCS!!!!

  16. firethecannons Says:

love to see some up closies of how Shaq and JPP bust through and get to Rodgers–love to see it in slo mo

It will be all about pressure on Mahomes but nothing is more jarring then making the quarterback bounce on the turf.

That’s interesting people on this site keep bringing up NDog. I’ve wondered why a fervent poster would just disappear.

Sure, he was a Winston supporter to the end, but we all supported Winston. We just discovered he wasn’t the right QB for the Bucs at different times. Maybe he still hasn’t come to grips with it.

NDogg disappearance is unfortunate. I hate to think he’s simply a person who relishes the bad, inspires the negative, and can’t enjoy the good.

If you’re a real fan NDog, enjoy this moment. The Bucs don’t make it to the Super Bowl every day.
