How much of a bounceback did Bucs linebacker Devin White have tonight?
Huge!
The last time the slimy Saints played the Bucs, it was on Sunday Night Football before the nation. And the slimy Saints seal-clubbed them.
In particular, Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees shamed and embarrassed Devin White. The Bucs’ inside linebacker was targeted by Brees 11 times. Brees completed each of those passes.
So tonight when the slimy Saints were needing a score to tie or take a lead, who did Brees try to burn? White, naturally, when Brees tried to hit Alvin Kamara on a seam route. White jumped it and picked off Brees!
Four plays later Tom Brady plunged in from the Saints-1 and the Bucs had a 30-20 lead.
White also had 10 solo tackles to lead the Bucs.
Thanks to White’s play, the Bucs are in the NFC Championship for the first time since the 2002 season. And the Bucs are one win from the Super Bowl played in the Stadium on Dale Mabry Highway.
It’s awesome to be a Bucs fan right now!

Outstanding Win!!!
I still love Drew Brees and he will always be the man! But Tom Brady is the greatest to ever play the game, and that’s all I have to say about that.

Love this defense, they can bring it when they get that fire! It’s a confidence thing, this should get them believing in themselves again. The D-Line is due to get hot again, pound Rodgers into the frozen turf repeatedly and he’ll fold like the French army. We witnessed that in person this year. We are going to have to lean again on the ground assault, especially if this is a snow game. Damn man, I am jacked! Forgot what this feels like. The trifecta of Championship games is still on the table boys. And 2 for 3 in the title game will have to be enough.

Cool for Devin White. Also fellow Bucs fans: this was done in #45s back yard as the kid is a LSU product and is from a place called Spring Hill which is somewhere way up in North Louisiana past Shreveport but still he put a dagger in the heart of the team that probably was on TV as he grew up in NW LA along with the Dallas Cowgirls.

Like a basketball ball game Saints had to bring out maintenance from time to time to wipe the drool off the field from Bucs D. The Oline was crazy. Like to see same D and different offense scheme against GB. Roger’s can throw deep. Hold off talking SB, Bucs need to get by GB first. Focus, LET’S GOOO!
