Tom Brady On Pace For 36 Touchdowns, 4,441 Yards, 12 Interceptions

December 20th, 2020

Team Glazer and Bruce Arians with an armbar today in Atlanta

Bucco Bruce Arians is living his dream, and Joe will say Tom Brady is as well.

What 43-year-old QB rings up more than 320 yards passing — in the second half!

Four touchdowns and a field goal in that second half. Whoa!

“He has so much confidence it bleeds into everybody,” Arians said after the game on the team’s official radio broadcast.

Brady now is on pace for 36 touchdowns (the Bucs’ season record is 33), 4,441 yards passing and just 12 interceptions this season.

Remember in the spring and summer, when so many fans said if Brady could just cut Jameis Winston’s ridiculous 30-interception total in half and toss 30 touchdowns, then the Bucs would be a playoff team?

Well, here we are. Brady is besting those touchdown/interception hopes and the Bucs are cruising toward an 11-5 record.

Brady was such an awesome investment. And in Joe’s mind, the fun doubles with Brady certainly a lock to return next season.

    Bucs haves winning record!

Something to celebrate before continuing on to next week!

  2. Ben the GA Buc Says:

    Go Chiefs!!!

  3. ModHairKen Says:

Credit to the coaches and players for playing what may have been the best half of football in team history.

  4. Jmarkbuc Says:

Maybe he could 🩸 some of that confidence before the opening kickoff?

  5. SlyPirate Says:

This type of game can create the confidence and momentum that carries into the playoffs.

  6. 40TDs Says:

    Check the SHEET!!!!

  7. james west Says:

just be happy julio jones was on the sidelines because honestly if he would have been playing, atlanta would have put this game out of reach, and the bears would be a game behind with 2 left, i tell you what we definitely, getting some love from the zebras, with the brady effect, some questionable calls could have gone the other way, does the NFL want to see TD 12 in the post season? and maybe beyond, only time will tell

  8. Another J Says:

That was one helluva won today folks!
    Go Bucs!

  9. Craig Says:

Think of what could be done with an OC that can script a game start and open with quick plays.

Then Brady could play whole games looking like he was some kind of GOAT.

  10. Wesley Says:

He shut some people up today.

  11. Stewy Says:

I like these numbers!!! One more win to end the playoff drought!

  12. FairMinded Says:

Yes for sure all Buc fans would have predicted a playoff team with that type of production from Brady, but that was with the expectation of consistency by the D. Always feels like we don’t scout the opposition and then get surprised when their stars are balling out, only for us to adjust late. Cut that crap out and Brady and co CAN take us to the promised land

  13. crazybucs_CL Says:

TB12, saved AGAIN coaches a$$$, and the crappie D game plan……

    BA = Lovie S 2.0

  14. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Where are all the Jay Miss lovers? Not just the 33 interceptions, but all the pic 6s and throw in all the fumbles and other boneheaded plays. He’s a strong 3rd stringer in NOLA though. Brees has absolutely nothing left in that arm of his. He threw an awful attempt at an out that was picked today.

  15. Waterboy Says:

Is this the same Joe that was saying but but but… Jameis passed for 5k yards… but but but the Bucs had the #1 offense in the league all off season. Setting the stage to come back later and say I told you so.

  16. DoooshLaRue Says:

    This win is JayMiss’s fault……

    Right closet webster?

  17. Clean House Says:

I’m having fun with Brady, too bad Jameis isn’t our backup

  18. Tamoabaybucfan Says:

One thing I really like about Brady is no fumbles…….he shuts it down and takes the sack…..lives to throw on another down,,,’
    What did Winston have….11?

  19. stpetebucsfan Says:

Too bad Brady can’t throw deep. That deciding TD to AB was a thing of beauty that should shut some folks up.

  20. Angel721 Says:

Congrats Tom. Today’s win was crafted and mastered on your over 20 years of experience. Taking nothing from the other guys on offense or defense, they came through. But it takes on the field leadership to both execute and inspire.

  21. Rod Munch Says:

Doing the NFL playoff machine, the Bucs will likely need to play everyone, even in week 17 since it could mean going on the road to play the Packers or Saints or Rams vs playing the Redskins. The Redskins are playing some great defense, but I’d still rather play them than play the other options.

What would be great is for the Redskins to lose out for the Cowboys to instead get in – that would be the best option.

  22. AlV Says:

Anybody still trashing Brady, that is THREE comebacks Brady has done. While Mr. 30-30 would have lost all those games.

  23. David Says:

Great 1/2 of football after an absolutely atrocious half of football. The coaches need to figure out why the hell their playcalling absolutely sucks right out of the gates. And the players need to look in the mirror and figure out, with the playoffs in the picture, why did they come out so flat? For 2 quarters it looked like they didn’t want to be there

  24. D-Rome Says:

To think there are still fools out there that would have rather had Jay-Miss at $30 million a year than Tom Brady at $25 million. By the end of the season Brady would likely cut down the total turnovers at the QB position by at least 2/3rds.

  25. Oneilbucs Says:

Brady haven’t played good against a good team yet . We only beat 1 playoff team . Again he haven’t proved nothing to me yet . I don’t care about what he did with the Patriots .

  26. orlbucfan Says:

Not impressed with Methuselah Brady. He sure lives a charmed life as he hasn’t been blasted at 43 yo by a defender yet.

  27. Youngbucs Says:

Oneilbucs still crying 33-30 😂😂😂 32-11 and counting give it a rest dude. You sound and look stupid.

  28. Youngbucs Says:

Imagine people actually believing Brady is not better than Winston seriously 🤦‍♂️

  29. Youngbucs Says:

This is how dumb some people are the saints haven’t beat anybody all year except the Bucs. Go look at the schedule it doesn’t matter who you beat oneilbucs it’s not style points. But your a clown so you won’t have anything relevant to say in your response. Again look at the saints wins look at the Steelers wins it doesn’t matter just win as many as you can 🤡.

  30. Youngbucs Says:

These Winston jock sniffers are ridiculous!!!!!

  31. PatsBucsfan4years Says:

You folks have no idea what the GOAT is capable of…given O line protection and play action
After winning the Super Bowl fire all coaches and may have shot a Perfection in 2021!

  32. Oneilbucs Says:

Youngbucs cookie this is was a 4 and 9 team not a playoff team . We only beat 1 playoff team the hold year cookie . Until we beat good teams then I will believe . Superbowl or bust !!

  33. Youngbucs Says:

Like I said nothing relevant to say

  34. Youngbucs Says:

43 years old better than that false god you worship deal with it

Patriots did a good job hiding Tom Brady’s age and deterioration.

Bucs are going to be the one to exposed Tom age and downfall.
Patriots = great oline no hits.
Bucs = mystery oline a bunch of hits.
Patriots winning = great defense , kicking, play calling
Bucs losing = half defense, bad kicking, leftwhich.
It’s good. Why ? All the blame was on jameis. Now it will be on licht. Bruce and bandwagoneers.

Take it from me Danny Dimes, Tom Brady will never play snap for the Buccaneers, The NFL Season will be cancelled this year in 2020 and Tom will decide to retire and move his family to LA to pursue business opportunities then play a snap. PRO Sports as we know it will not be played until late 2021 at the earliest

Arians is an idiot for wanting washed up dodo bird Brady. This is all about holding onto season ticket money and merch sales. Brady will never take a snap for the Bucs. Then The Almighty Famous Jameis Winston comes back to save the day!

  36. Potato Chip Says:

Just wanted to say I saw a comment that Brady just takes the sack rather than fumbles away. Thing is, he doesn’t take very many sacks either. He’s very good at getting rid of the ball before getting sacked as well as protecting the ball if he can’t get rid of it. HE is also very underrated with his ability to avoid defenders by maneuvering within the pocket. People think because he’s slow he is a sitting duck, but that’s not really true.
