“He Talks About That Every Day”

Byron Leftwich talks about one thing that makes Tom Brady happy

Once upon a time, Juan Ponce de León and other explorers thought the legendary Fountain of Youth might be near the Tampa Bay area.

Joe can’t be sure. And iconic JoeBucsFan.com columnist Ira Kaufman isn’t old enough to had had a chat with de León.

But today, Bucs offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich got all excited after being asked if the weather in Tampa is sort of a December football Fountain of Youth for Tom Brady, as he tackles his first taste of a playoff run in the tropics.

“[Brady] talks about that every day,” Leftwich bellowed. “He talks about how good he feels.

“Every day he can’t believe that [the weather is] like this down here.”

Yeah, yeah, weather talk is boring as hell and, yeah, yeah, it’s colder up north. However, Joe is very intrigued by Leftwich saying how Brady can’t stop talking about how good he feels. Brady is still human, and his attitude toward his health as a 43-year-old QB is very relevant.

This is a great sign for those like Joe who are very eager to see Brady 2021 in Tampa.

Word is that Brady just spent a few million on a Boat, so weather really matters to him now.

To see Brady and a QB prospect 2021 in Tampa*

Only haters of Brady would say she had affected him this year. If he holds to his average he will throw for 4400 yards and 38 tds and maybe 15 ints. Pretty good for an old guy. Not like he’s been sacked as much as I thought he would either. It’s real cool that he’s going to set a new team record for td passes in only his first year! Last year we were 5-7 this year 7-5. Big difference what ball control and fewer turnovers can mean for a teams record don’t it???? Hint hint Jameis apologists.

    DBBF99,

Could have sworn you were a member of the JayMiss Nuthugger Brigade this time last year.
    Did you have an epiphany?
    Or did reality set in?

    Florio’s pick: Buccaneers 28, Vikings 20.

    Be concerned!

  6. Casual Observer Says:

I thought Josh Rosen on the practice squad was the heir-apparent. QB in training. Or will they spend a draft pick?

I’d love to see Brady with a year under this offense, OJ Howard back, gronky with his legs fully under him, timing down with receivers, a full complement of OTA’s etc. Provided the offense will remain in tact – yes, Tampa will be a force and one of the favorites. We need to ignore the noise. When you’re super talented – you’re gonna have some “haters” and a lot of people wanting to see the Bucs fail. On top of this, we are a victim of massive expectations by overreacting to every loss. It’s December, we are in the thick of it – let’s enjoy this a bit more instead of being completely mentally unstable freaks about certain things

DbLarue I knew a clown like you would take the bait on that one! No never that! Just means you never really understood my posts. I liked him as our qb because yes he can be an entertaining abdominal exciting qb to watch but like everyone else hated the turnovers. Unlike you and the Winston hate fan club I didn’t blame him for all of the losses and when Brady came in board I was happy about. Was one of the first to say addition by subtraction. No need for an epiphany I already knew we needed a new qb.

If only the whining culture on this fan board would change for the better! Jameis accounted for 30 points and the win but all these loser mentality fans only cry about what he did wrong. Yeah he made some bad plays but he made a WHOLE lot more good plays and the girliemen fans only concetrate on the bad plays. He still would have put up those same #s without the picks. He abused Indy and all you do is heap abuse on him.

Brady’s 40-foot-plus vessel named “Viva A Vida,” arrived in St. Pete last Thursday, just a day before it was discovered his Massachusetts-based supplement and merchandise company, TB12 Inc., received nearly a million dollars from the Federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

While the $522 billion program was designed to help small businesses cover things like rent and payroll during the pandemic, larger companies mostly benefited and nearly half of all small businesses were denied PPP (it was even worse for minority-owned businesses).

But nevertheless, Brady’s company managed to pull in a $960,855 loan on April 15, 2020, from the federal government, according to data released by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Creative Loafing noted that it remains “unclear exactly how TB12 was impacted by the coronavirus pandemic and how many jobs it retained with the loan.”

Doosh where in that repost am I lying????? Nice try though figured you’d do that as well. You incessant hating fans not once spoke of the good things he did do and to this day none of you do. You lay the blame for all the losses on him even though the team sucked around him as well. Don’t equate my support of him like ndog is nothing like that

Jmatkbuc being I’m no reporter I didn’t proof read the post abominable was supposed to be “and” but if you know Edgar abominable means it actually does suit Winstons play at times no lie

  15. DavidBigBucFan99 Says:

See???Don’t know how Edgar got in that post. Don’t know how the predict type on my phone came up with that

  16. ClodHopper Says:

Maybe Brady got some Sickness treatments from his friend in Mar-A-Lago. I hear it makes you feel 20 years younger.

  17. unbelievable Says:

    That’s cool.

Will the weather help him stop throwing interceptions and wounded ducks on 3rd downs?
