Hustling Antonio Brown

November 5th, 2020

Bucs WR Antonio Brown.

In his debut speaking to the pen and mic club via Zoom yesterday, new Bucs receiver furniture-tossing Antonio Brown came across as a changed person, or attempted to portray that image.

He even sounded — gasp! — soft-spoken, which is the polar opposite of the berserk videos on YouTube of him in his final days with the Raiders some 14 months ago.

Per a report by Jenna Laine of ESPN, Brown was anything but shy at his first official Bucs practice yesterday. It was a walk-through inside the Glazer Shed but Brown treated it as if he was practicing for a Super Bowl.

You can see Laine’s report below.

  2. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

Awesome…….either him or Mike Evans will go off sunday night, due to the lack of doubling up ME…as long as the back end can play better than the giants game this should be another bucs win. Iras buddy dean was absolutely horrible and you can bet brees and payton will locate 35

  3. Dewey Selmon Says:

This just shows AB only thinks of himself. There is a reason for walk-throughs but AB wanted to do his own thing and ended up being a distraction.

Holding my breath. Crossing my fingers. Preparing a sacrifice to the gods of common sense and good behavior.

  5. Marine Buc Says:

This was a good interview. I’m glad AB is staying with TB12 and taking this final chance seriously. His answers were clear and humble. I hope he can turn things around. Not just for the Bucs sake but also for his children’s future.

    Go AB!!! Go Bucs!!!!

  6. Tampabaybucfan Says:

AB has calmed down with his cocktail of Ativan, Xanax, Librium, Klonopin & a mild dose of Propofol (Michael Jackson Drug)

Football player? He will be our best receiver in 2 weeks

Good start, soft spoken is definately the right tact. He will be speaking very loud with his actions against the Saints. 1 or 2 TD’s. Believe me the Saints want no part of having to defend AB. He is going open up the passing game for all the receivers. Brady will find him. If Godwin comes back even as a decoy on Sun night, the Saints are going to cry uncle lol. GO BUCS!!! WEAPONS FOR BRADY!!!!

  10. SlyPirate Says:

Can you imagine if AB goes for 150 and 2TDs in his first game?

It would be such a slap in the face to the Raiders, Patriots, and Steelers. The Seahawks, Packers, and Browns (who all pursued AB) would be dying.

  11. adam from ny Says:

is AB killing us softly with his song ?

  12. August 1976 Buc Says:

Yes I can imagine that SlyPirate lol. It is good to finally have players like Brady and AB that strike fear into opposing coaches and players. GO BUCS!!!!

  13. Buc1987 Says:

    Go get it AB.

  14. 123urout Says:

Welcome Aboard, AB ! Enjoy Tampa. Good thing Mons V is close. 🙂

  15. Posey99 Says:

What a nightmare for opposing Def Coordinators to try and scheme.

  16. SB Says:

I know I picked up AB on my fantasy rosters as Soon as I heard he was coming to the Bucs

  17. Buc_U Says:

Well we will see this week because the saints play dirty, and with him admitting he has anger issues they are going to test him this Sunday. You see how the get under Mike’s skin, and how the were poking the the bears receiver in the face until he finally retaliated and got ejected. If brown can make it past the saints game it’s a good sign.

IT’s a awesome year for everything bucs.. Make us proud AB…Go Bucs full throttle on them aint’s..

I think some of you guys miss the point, that I think Brady alluded to…. Sounds like AB didn’t grow up like many of us did. And he likely learned many of the wrong behaviors as a youth, that have manifested themselves into his adulthood. What I think is going on is an effort to help AB change… with the intervention of many of his friends. Will I work? I don’t know. But I think he is sincerely trying, and I for one, am happy whenever a lost lamb is found and saved. And am rooting for him to change.

SB , is your Son still playing or have the district “delayed ” the season?

  22. Jmarkbuc Says:

I’m more concerned with our D…

Too many shades of Smitty on MNF, for my liking. Play 8 yards off against Brees and he’ll kill us… bad shoulder or not.

    Well said mark2001
